I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that used cream of chicken soup in their queso! Even my chicken enchiladas had cream of chicken soup in it?!?!?! Way over priced. And they say its authentic that it is not.

The food is excellent. The place is super clean. The bathroom area is so beautiful. The Mexican accord , decorations are picture perfect. On Thursday night they have a DJ and for those that like to get up and sing. This is the place to go. Come n check it out. !!

Beautiful decor. The salsa was very watery but had a nice flavor. I ate the fajita salad with chicken & it was so good. I don t remember reading on the menu that it had dressing already in it, but it was tasty. My server delivered my lunch & never came back until she saw I was ready for the check.

We loved this restaurant! Very festive. We were surprised that it wasnt crowded on a Saturday night. It seems to be too tucked away for people to notice there is a restaurant in that location. I actually thought it was a grocery store when I first noticed it - because of the design of the building and the huge parking lot. I think they would likely have way more customers in a better location. Vegetarian options: I had the veggie quesadillas, which were delicious!

We dropped in with a party of 14 and they accommodated us easily. We ordered a variety of dishes, I had the fajitas and they were very good. Margaritas were good, but as with most restaurants now they were expensive for what they were. Our waitress was excellent.

Alot of parking, this is a small restaurant inside a Tortilla factory. The restaurant inside was great to take some selfies. The first table I sat at, was supper wobbly, the second table one side was lower than the other side, the third table was good; the booths were ripped in certain areas. The food. Had the chips and red salsa, those were good. Tried the green salsa and it wasnt my favorite, it wasnt spicy and it had too much water. I had the sample platter, Im not sure the name is correct, but it had 2 flautas cut in half, 1 quesadilla cut in 4, 4 nachos with ground beef, 1 fried jalapeno sliced in half with sour cream, guacamole and sour cream; the flautas were the best out of everything, this platter was $16 and the fountain drink was $3. In average, I think food is around $16 per person. Overall, my experience, great presentation, I wouldnt get the same food, I might try something else or ask for recommendations.

Well i ordered a pepino margarita just for the cute details i saw online with the flower and when she brought it it was without the flower so it looked more like a normal lemonade the only thing is that they made one without alcohol for the kids. And i also saw a mangoniada margarita something like that on tiktok and i thoight the bartender had said that he could do it without alcohol and the lady showed up with the lemonade margaritas instead . Good service but bad at the same time. All the drinks look good and cute online

Over price food went on vacation up north in Dallas . We stop in duncanville to try it out the food has no flavor over price. FYI the building is also the restaurant s tortilla factory, so they make their own tortillas, chips, etc for the restaurant. This place pretty awesome in Dalla. We saw this from the freeway. This location was Inside a tortilla factory. Great decor great people and great food! Drinks were really food. Atmosphere was comfy. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. We were not only exposed to great Mexican food locally, but also Mexican food a mere 25 miles away across the Matamoros or Reynosa border in Mexico. I paid my first visit to Sabor a La Mexicana back in 2017. It quickly became my favorite go-to place for authentic Mexican food. The food quality and service are second to none. Side note: There is a special salsa that they do not typically serve. Ask for the Mr. Garza special salsa. Amazing!! :-)

I was very excited to try this place out, when I walked in the place looked nice and clean no complaints there, food was good, I order la tampiqueña only thing I didn t like was the waitress, left me sitting down for a long time 10 mins with out offering drinks or anything, the girl who picks up the plates was nice and asked me if anyone had come to offer anything yet I said no, she asked what I wanted to drink when she went for my drink told waitress to come see me, karla my waitress came and ask if I was ready to order I said yes please a few moments later bring me my food again no complaints there, when she comes back to refill my drink she pours coke into my sprite she apologized and takes my drink to the back to fix it and brings me water instead of sprite I asked the girl who pick up the plates to please bring me sprite and she does just that, she was very kind and helpful. I will try this place again and will update this review.

Horrible service. The waiters are not honest when they charge you, they only tell you the amount, they do not bring the receipt. You pay with a card and you say that you give the tip in Cash. They dont give you a receipt when you pay. You ask for the receipt and you realize that they charge you 20% tip on an account with two adults and a girl. Very good food.

When you walk into the restaurant and smell the spices you know the meal will be flavorful. The staff are courteous, professional and approachable. The owners Linda and Aracely along with the staff are 100% supportive of Veterans. I approached Linda and Aracely with a short time frame task for Veterans dinner. It was almost insurmountable, they did not blink an eye. They were positive and said from the beginning We can do this. I cannot thank them enough. Just passing through Duncanville to meet family, and saw good reviews for this place. What an interesting and delicious surprise! The space is open and colorful, very clean. Lively atmosphere, but not too crowded. We especially liked the fajita salad, which was arranged so nicely in the bowl, and the very balanced chicken tortilla soup. The house dressing, a kind of cilantro vinaigrette, was very nice. It may seem like an odd location, but dont hesitate to try this place if youre in the area! If I happen to go this way again, Ill be back!

The people are very nice. The food is ok. With me being Hispanic Im just a little picky about Mexican food. But I guess it all depends on what you order. Their food is good just thought my flavor. When its time for the ticket, the lady comes around with her little handheld computer or whatever, tells you the amount, then ask for your credit card. So you dont actually get to see a ticket... but they do give you a printout afterwards through your email or an actual ticket then. Its really interesting I like that part I guess but sometimes I do like to see the actual ticket to know what Im paying for.

I have eaten in many Mexican restaurants but never in one as expensive as this one that even charges you for tortillas. I thought this was a good place to eat but I was wrong. I paid almost $250 for 5 courses of food and drinks, a price that was too exaggerated. And apart from the small portions of food, I wondered why it was completely empty. The food at Sabor a La Mexicana was delicious and authentic, and the staff were very helpful. The prices were a bit higher than expected, but we werent disappointed by the quality of the food. We loved the fresh chips and salsa, too. The decor was unique and the restaurant had a unique atmosphere.

Great quality food at a reasonable price. Waiters are always attentive and never had a bad experience. This is a hidden gem and must try for all your Tex-Mex cravings. The camarones a la diabla are the spiciest that you will find in DFW! Good luck if you order them.
