Placed order over phone and the lady with braids, with her nose snarled up, like she mad that we coming to support the business. Had a stanky attitude over phone and even worse attitude in person. This was not my first time ordering food from Coaches Box. My first experience was amazing. I travel at least 30 to about 40 minutes to go to Coaches Box. Unfortunately today I order a turkey burger basket which comes with the burger and fries which I asked if I could get a small salad instead of the fries I was told yes but that would be an extra charge. So I stated no thanks just go ahead and give me the fries . I also order my husband a Three piece fish basket with the fries and small salad . As I received my order I checked the order before leaving and noticed that the fries didnt look freshly cooked as I was talking to the cashier she just walked off like I wasnt talking to her but the second young lady heard the conversation and tried to address the concern when the third lady who was washing dishes stated that the fries were fresh and that they cook everything to order. I asked all three ladies to take a look at the fries which they refused to do so. I stated either cook me some fresh fries or give me my money back the third lady said that they dont give refund. I stated then cook me some more fries. The second lady said that she would do that why the third lady continue to talk about what they dont do. I told the second lady that she knew the meaning of customer service and how to treat people. The owner finally came over to me and stated that the first young lady told him what happened and he constantly keep saying that he cook the fries fresh himself, so I asked him to take a look at the fries he refused. But the second lady made the order right but I will not be returning. Not only did I spend my money I travel out my way to get there and to be treated like I did something wrong . No thanks never again. I will be telling my family and friends not to spend their money or time at this location.

First time coming. And was very satisfied with the food as well as the ambiance. Everyone was friendly and with a positive attitude. Prices were very good given the big portions served. We ordered double meat burger and was a solid 10/10. Cooked to perfection and the fries were a bonus. They were so good and crispy. This will be our new go to burger joint. Oh and to top it off we got a complimentary margarita.

This was our 1st time here. It came highly recommended by a relative because of the burgers; however, we didn t want burgers. We ordered the hot link dinner with potato salad & onion rings, 5 piece lemon pepper wings, & 10 hot wings. With my hot link dinner, they gave me a couple tiny pieces of hot links then filled the rest with plain links covered in BBQ sauce after I explicitly told the cashier that I was ordering the dinner because I don t like regular links (which is why I didn t get the sandwich) the potato salad was runny with the top being hot & the bottom being cold, & the onion rings were more batter than onion. The lemon pepper wings were actually Pepper wings with a lemon garnish that they expect you to squeeze over the wings. They use a dry rub on the hot wings which we have never had, we expected a wet sauce. They should explicitly state that on the menu because that isn t common & thats not what we were looking for. So needless to say, disappointed doesn t begin to describe our experience. I do want to try the burgers but their fries were terrible, no flavor. Idk if it s worth it.

I ordered a fried chicken salad and it was good. I ordered the lemon pepper wings, and man they need to stop the madness! Theres nothing lemon about it, the only taste is burnt chicken cooked in old grease. The fries must have been cooked in the same grease because they taste burnt. I should have looked at the reviews but Ive had the burger before and was good. Anyway, I looked at my salad and it looked good, I checked my wings because I was teasing my co-workers on zoom only to see these burnt wings. I even ate one thinking looks can be deceiving. Nope! Taste just like they look. I went back in to ask are they supposed to be like this because there is no way they would have burnt all these wings and handed them to somebody unless thats the way they make them. Sure enough thats the way the are supposed to be. I guess people like them because they keep selling them like that. I kept them to post this review, my nephew will eat anything and momma loves chicken. She said they taste okay but thats old grease!

Ordered a burger with everything on it & fries at 11:41, no one else was in the restaurant at the time. I received my food at 12:17. That is an absolutely ridiculous wait time for a meal so simple and an establishment that was not busy. They gave me 1 pack of ketchup (there was none on my burger) so I asked for another pack and they charged me 30 cents for a pack of ketchup. At the very least, you would think after the wait they could spare a ketchup packet. No apology for the wait either and the cashier was rude. Not to mention, after all of that the food is sub par at best. Wont be back.

Customer service is horrible! I don t advise anyone to deal with the attitudes from them. I come in, don t get greeted. The young girl at the front was cutting off my girl as she was talking trying to order. Took longer than what was expected and literally had attitudes cause I asked how much longer after the time they told me was up. The girl that I asked didn t even answer me she looked at the lady and the lady repeated the time I had already waited. Then I come in again after waiting extra time for my food and the young girl just puts the food on the counter. No here you go or sorry for the wait not even eye contact to let me know, just put it down. I had to ask was the food even for me. As I m leaving they greeted the people after us like they was trying to be funny. I won t be going there ever again. This was my first time going btw. Not to mention the smoked wings was undone. First time here; they recommended the burgers and YES: PERFECT BURGER. I got the Hickory Bacon Burger and it was the best burger Ive had in years, bar none. Never Again! I went here for the first time and was so disappointed!. Let me first say the young lady working the register was kind, patient and helpful. We waited a little over 30 minutes for wings, turkey burger and catfish meals. First off they put salad in the same container as the catfish which caused the cheese to melt and lettuce to wilt. The salad consisted of iceburg lettuce with shreeded cheese. As you can see the wings were burnt and not edible. I called back to speak to the manager and was told he is busy,we dont give refunds but can remake it and he will call you back. Needless to say I never received that call back and its been over a week. I will say the turkey burger was delicious but with far more choices in the area I will not return and do not recommend. How dare you serve burnt chicken to someone and then not follow up??? So sad that the customer service is practically nonexistent.

Went there and ordered what I thought was a chicken breast sandwich, bacon cheeseburger and a catfish fish. The chicken breast was a plate not the sandwich. It was salty salty inedible. The cheeseburger was charred and a slightly burnt taste but not enough flavoring, oh and without cheese. Oh the catfish is a fraud, its not actual catfish ( imagine being catfished) by an actual catfish!! It was over cooked and fried on high heat. Which resulted in a burnt taste. Everything I ordered was unsatisfactory I couldnt enjoy it and when I brought it to their attention, the lady had the nerve to become defensive, rude, and question my taste buds. I cater and cook for a living and I know flavor profiles, but above all else I would never tell a customer what they should or shouldnt like. She was extremely rude. The best part of the experience is the cashier, shes very nice. I spent 35.00 there and I couldnt be more disappointed. I wont ever visit this place again.

I was in the Dallas area for work for 3 weeks, I stumbled across The Coaches Box one day for lunch, the staff was amazing, the food was out of this world, Coach came out and talked to me both times I was there. There is only one thing I would change, I wished I knew about this earlier. I found this hidden gem during my last week in Texas. Located in Southwest Dallas area of Duncanville, eating at this place is a MUST. The Burgers are so flavorful, the thick cut bacon on the Hamburger was a pleasant surprise, and THOSE ONION RINGS!!! The value at The Coaches Box, is unlike any other restaurant, I plan on going back one last time before I head home. Thanks to Coach and the Staff for making me feel at home even though I was 1,070 miles away. Best Burgers in Texas!!!

Definitely the best burger Ive had. I usually get the mushroom burger my bf gets the turkey burger with mushrooms and onions. Chefs Kiss guys. Ive never been disappointed -- except when they dont have my pies and they aint never got the cobbler

Good Customer Service, the Burgers are fantastic. The Dessert are another story. The cake is straight from the box with store shelf frosting, nothing added to enhance the flavor. The mini pies have a gummy crust & not good at all. I tried this place a couple of times and felt disappointed. Kid-friendliness: Regular atmosphere

Came here last night and ordered some food 2 of the burgers were RAW was going to leave a great review but I couldnt eat my food. The lady at the register couldve been more friendly but she was kinda rude and nonchalant.. Save your time & money and go somewhere else. I love supporting black owned businesses but this one has came down so far.

In the past I have gotten good burgers from this establishment the man that cooks the burger always have in attitude when I say got light on the seasoning and wind up adding extra seasoning Im done with spending my money with someone that has an attitude about how I want my food a waste of money spent. Got there 30 mins before closing and placed a 3 combo order and was blown away by the service. Ordered a double w bacon, a single with bacon and a Jr cheeseburger for my baby. 1st timer from out of town and the burgers were full of flavor and the fries seasoned perfectly with an awesome crisp. Definitely recommend and will make sure to stop by every time I come visit the family.

We ordered 3 chicken sandwiches, chili cheese fries and a grilled chicken salad. And 2 lemonades, the lemonade was so full of sugar it s undrinkable. All of the food was bland and burnt/cooked in old grease. I m upset we spent our money here. We will never return and advise all our friends and family to not go here.

I felt like a good turkey burger this past weekend. And I got just that from The Coaches Box!! It was so good, I went back the very next day and got another one. All of the sandwiches come with fries. I got the turkey burger with cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, mayo and mustard. The patty was well seasoned and the overall size of the burger was well worth the $9. I ate off of it twice. I also enjoy their baked beans,lemonade and smoked wings.

The Best place in Duncanville for amazing food and superb customer service.. As soon as you walk in you are great by an amazing personality that makes you feel welcome .. The food speaks for its self and you can appreciate all the hard work the team does .. I always get the hamburger with fries and my coworkers get the lemon pepper salads they says it s the best!!! This is my favorite burger place, I ve been coming here since they opened and I ve had yet to face disappointment. The burger is always prepared neatly with the right amount of condiments and toppings. Also, the patty itself is packed with flavor and and super juicy . Coach is an amazing chef!

Every time I place an order to go on the phone, the service is great and friendly! The food is great every time I pick up. The burgers and wings are good. I never had time to try anything else new because I m stuck on those two due to it being good lol. But I ll definitely try something different on the menu soon.

I ordered 3 fish fillet baskets and that mess was terrible. The fillets, fries and toast was hard as bricks. I usually check my food but i had been waiting 46 monutes and was starving. When I completed about the length of time I was told it takes fish a while to cook. That was tve first red flag. My sister and i called on 2 seperate occasions and was met with the same rudeness an nonchalant attitudes. Over the phone the cashier and owner insisted that the food wasnt hard and asked why didnt we bring it back? I told him i didnt live close by, 3 of us ordered and was in 3 different locations, that the restaurant was about to close and that it should have been prepared correctly the first time. We kept the food and took it back the next day. Once we arrived the cashier didnt want to take the order and informed the owner that we were there. He refused to listen and was STILL stating he ate fish from the same batch and it wasnt hard. He also was still unapologetic and didnt offer a refund. I called my friend who received the 3rd basket to let the owner hear his complaint and he said he didnt care what he had to say. I then told him we didnt even want a remake at that point nor a refund and that we just wanted him to acknowledge his mistake and do better. He stood there looking dumbfounded. Im so disappointed in this restaurant.

This place is definitely hit or miss and it s kind of annoying. You have some amazing things on the menu but you don t have it consistently. 1st visit: Bacon cheeseburger, fries and lemon aide. (Wanted peach cobbler, and kool aide they were out of it) We were really happy she split the meal in half without us asking. The fries were really Good made to order so they were hot and fresh as well as seasoned. The burger was made to order with all the toppings and again really well made and great to eat. The lemonade was homemade and taste amazing. 2nd visit: They have a sign on the door talking about margaritas and alcohol and the lady in front of us asked for it and the last replied we don t have it which I thought was strange but not my businesses. We ordered lemon pepper wings and chili cheese fries. The lemon pepper wings were not good at all, they were over cooked and there was no lemon pepper seasoning at all just burnt pepper. They were served so hot that you couldn t enjoy them. The chili cheese fries, were that was the best part of this order and definitely would order the fries again. They did not have, fruit punch, lemonade, peach cobbler, frozen drinks and only had bottles drinks.
