Was expecting a brunch as the fly said, but they didn t have anything brunch . It was a good vibe. Music was great, but you had to wait a long time for your order. We waited almost an hour for our drinks and just as long for the wings and fries, wings were very hard, but the DJ was great. It was nothing brunch about this. It was a club vibe setting, but it was nice and clean and older setting with no men need to find something to draw in more men.

It took forever for our waiter to come to our table, It took forever for our food to get to our table, And it took forever for our drinks to get to our table. We went for the flip-flops and lemon drops brunch which it wasnt a brunch at all, The drinks were okay, the DJ was jamming, The crowd was hype it was cool but overall I dont have to go back unless invited like I was this time!!

Location looked sketchy and was nestled in the corner. We were expected to pay $25.00 for a table just to sit for a Flip Flops and Lemon Drops event. The place wasn t even heavily attended! Music was loud and the saxophone player was not what was expected. This whole event I felt was a false advertisement that didn t match the flyer which stated brunch . There were no brunch options. Waitress was kind and attentive, but the pasta and Turkey burger ordered was served cold and the happy hour Lemon drops were served in a plastic cup! They were charging $8.00 if you wanted it in a glass! Needless to say, I won t go back. Sorry it s not what I m accustomed too.

Went for a Birthday party on a Friday night. Its a nice spot. Food is a little bland. DJ played the latest HipHop. Im more of a Neo-Soul Old-School R&B type. So Ill have to find out what night is a 30 and up crowd with a more Grown&Sexy vibe. Food

This was my first time at 1540 bar&grill. We celebrated our 40 year high-school reunion. The atmosphere was great. The music was good. The food was delicious. Bartenders and waitresses all were amazing. Oh yea, plenty of parking! I will definitely be back.

This was the 1st spot for my Sorority sisters and me. We were a large group of at least 30 people. The service was a little slow but I think it was because of the number of people in our group AND there was another party going on. Get the grilled pork chops . What I liked is that 1504 has happy hour on Saturdays with $3 drinks and $6 plates. This spot also has a DJ who played 90s music and the waitstaff were very nice and accommodating.

Food : Get the Lemon Pepper Wings if you know, you know. They were so good. Crowd : 30+ Black Folks. I was one of the few people who looked under 25 but it was for my mom s bday. She is in her 40s so it was a perfect crowd for her! Music : Appeases the crowd. Do not expect trendy hiphop hits - definitely has a throwback to the good days vibe with some sprinkles of modern hits. We lined danced all night. The lightening was pink and bright. Clean bathrooms. Good bar and drinks!

The food was not good. they served us chicken not properly cooked and the service was bad. we sat there for an hour watching and asking the wait staff for service as they kept telling us someone else was coming to help us. We even asked one of the owners to send someone and he forgot. Over all the music made the place better but it needs a paint job on the inside it look so outdated...

Im all for supporting black owned establishments. We arrived for happy hour and ordered Lemon drop Martinis. The cup wasnt even half full but ok. I paid and was told to sit wherever we like and a waitress would be with us. We sat there for 30 plus minutes. We said excuse to 2 different waitresses with no response. They looked but didnt greet after 30 plus minutes we decided to leave. There were customers that came in after us that was waited on so we just decided it wasnt the place wed like to give our money. Customer service doesnt exist here!

It was a cool little spot. Nice atmosphere. We stopped in for a drink and a light dinner. The food was ok, a little too salty and we had 3 different dishes of food and ALL of it was too salty. I order 6 wings and they only bought out 5. You would have thought that they would have made up for the mistake but instead they fried ONE wing and bought me the one missing wing. The service was Ok... It was empty in the place when we arrived so we received good service in the beginning but towards the end of our visit it got a little more busy and you could tell by how the service declined. All together it was a nice place and I may visit again.

The skillet queso was not skillet queso, but orange stadium nacho cheese in a bowl. We just shrugged our shoulders and ate it. My fish was well seasoned and the fries were great, but the Cajun pasta was a little dry. If youre looking for a nice place to chat and talk with your table mates, this is not the place for that. The music is too loud for conversation, but if you want to dance I guess this might be the spot
