I would give negative stars if i could! Staff was rude, unprofessional and CLEARLY do not value or care about customer service! Food was NOTHING worth stopping for and they didnt even have half the stuff on the drink menu. i took my food to go and left out of there as quick as i could since the growling man upstairs was bluntly disregarding my existence and seemed bothered by my presence. I had to pay before i could eat one bite of my food cause they forgot the mayo on my burger, which they have to go downstairs for? And i didnt want to eat my $30 burger cold so i just went down there myself after paying and asked for mayo after flagging down 2 workers since everyone just kept walking past me, they preceded to keep walking as they muttered if ur upstairs u need to get it up there (wow) i said i already paid for my food up there..with a surprised look one guy finally stopped and got my mayo. Smh. Thank God my boyfriend was on the phone with me cause i almost lost all my ish! So rude and disgusting attitudes and food!

Like all airport food and drinks its overpriced, but at least here it is good quality. Got the blue burger with side salad. My bartender did a great job. Had two beers and theyre served in the big pint glasses, so that means a higher abv beer you get served in a big glass unlike at other restaurants where they serve it in a smaller glass. May be worth it to at least come get a beer here ;).

Truly the best place to escape the crowds and have an enjoyable meal while traveling. You truly can remove yourself from the rest of the airport by utilizing their upstairs. Being a UFO member, I stopped in to add a beer or three to my count. When approached by David and asked what I wanted, I handed him one of my chits. He wadded it up and threw it in on the bar and went to wait on someone else. He seemed very angry that I couldn t just tell him which of my 200 (that s their trademark, BTW) beers I wanted. If this is the way the company wants to treat their people, I will shut myself off at 168 beers!

Surprisingly great selection of beers for an airport, I ve never experienced anything like it. Lots of options for beer connoisseurs, all that is missing is their menu online on Untappd so one can navigate and choose easier. Did not try the food. Just the drinks. Good service. Flying Saucer would make DFW a preferred long layover airport.

Horribly rude staff. Rough day at the airport with tons of delayed and canceled flights so they were busy, but no excuse for being rude to prospective customers (also having a miserable day) just trying to find a place to get dinner and sit for a few minutes. Specifically the upstairs bartender and waitress. The sign said please seat yourself, so we did. The upstairs staff obviously did not get the memo, and started rudely kicking people out. We would have waited for a table if they could have been courteous, but we refused to give them our business after the way they treated several groups and kicked people out after filling open tables. Hire a hostess to seat tables or be respectful to the people that follow the directions on your sign. I love the Flying Saucer in Fort Worth, but I d recommend giving your business to any of the other similar establishments in the airport serving burgers and beer.

Hundreds of craft beer on tap and in cans/bottles. There is a full bar here but BEER LOVERS UNITE AND REJOICE!!! Make sure to check out the computer kiosk at the bar, log-in as a guest, and peruse the vast variety of beers in stock. Print Chit and hand it over to your server. You can print more than one, just be mindful and respectful of any fellow beerknurds waiting in line to use the kiosk as well. SLÁINTE!! Worst food Ive ever eaten at the airport. That being said, the nachos came out about room temperature. With the cheapest nacho cheese you can use. Like ballpark cheese from a little league concession stand. Chicken tenders , well like frozen ones from middle school. I could go on, but damn. The waitress was really nice and thoughtful. But the restaurant was totally under staffed. There were a couple of managers walking back and forth, but not helping at all. Very disappointed

The waitress was fine, however, we ordered as they tell us to, through the QR code and we ordered iced tea and a beer and then they told us that they were out of stock for both and cannot give it to us nor remove it from the bill because they have no control over the bill. That the system is a third party that does not communicate with its stock. Terrible and food was not good either. Really sad.

Its strange because you can pay before you get your food and yet still get regular service as if you are at a standard restaurant. The timing in getting our drinks and food was noticeably off, but perhaps ordering online may affect that. The food was pretty standard airport food. Nothing special and nothing memorable. Ive had better food at other airports. Dont come here expecting something extraordinary. Like I said, the atmosphere is great as the restaurant sits right in the intersection of several gates, so its quite lively.

The service was fine. The place wasnt busy. Tuesday night at the airport location. Originally, the fries were cold and i just decided to not say anything. Then I took a bite of the Saucer Burger and it was not cooked properly. Sent it back twice. Red in the middle. Server stated they cook the meat prior and then warm it up on the grill. I have worked in restaurants & food manufacturing, its imperative that mass produced burger is cooked thoroughly to ensure bacteria havent grown out of control. Food safety doesnt seem like a serious thing here... The meal was comped and not the servers fault. The kitchen needs better training on safe food temps. When I asked what temp the burger was cooked to, she stated, I told him to burn it. Both burgers were not even warm in the center. Dont eat here unless you want a raw burger!

My burger needed seasoning as it had no taste, lucky I asked for bbq sauce or it would have been even worse, also that little extra bit of bbq sauce was $0.50. My partners salad was huge, but the salmon was way way over cooked, so very dry. The soda was very weak, might as well had been soda water. Server was good as there was one single guy running the top level and he was doing everything, so props to him, but the kitchen needs some flavor help.

Title: Stellar Service and Memorable Experience at the Flying Saucer Bar in DFW Airport I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Flying Saucer Bar at DFW Airport, and I must say, the highlight of our entire trip was the exceptional service provided by our server, Gretchen. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that immediately set the tone for a fantastic experience. Gretchens attentiveness throughout our visit was truly remarkable. She expertly balanced being friendly and engaging while also giving us the space to enjoy our meal and drinks at our own pace. Not once did we feel rushed, and she made sure to check on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. Its evident that she genuinely cares about her customers satisfaction, and that made all the difference in our dining experience. Now, lets talk about the food and drinks. The nachos we ordered were absolutely delicious! They were served piping hot with a generous portion of toppings, making them the perfect indulgence for a hungry couple like us. As for the beer selection, the Flying Saucer Bar did not disappoint. With an extensive array of craft beers, we were spoilt for choice. Gretchen was well-versed in the offerings and helped us choose the perfect beer that complemented our nachos perfectly. Beyond the delectable food and drinks, it was Gretchens warmth and friendliness that truly made the experience memorable. She took the time to chat with us, sharing local recommendations and anecdotes that added an extra layer of personal touch to our visit. It felt like we were catching up with an old friend, and that made us feel right at home. In a busy airport environment where time is of the essence, Gretchen managed to create a haven of relaxation and enjoyment. Her genuine care for her guests and her ability to make us feel special made the Flying Saucer Bar a definite standout in our travel journey. In conclusion, I cannot praise Gretchens service at the Flying Saucer Bar enough. Her attentive, warm, and friendly demeanor elevated our dining experience to a whole new level. If you find yourself at DFW Airport and are looking for a fantastic place to unwind, enjoy great food, and indulge in quality craft beers, do yourself a favor and seek out Gretchen and the Flying Saucer Bar. It will undoubtedly become a highlight of your trip, just as it did for my wife and me. We look forward to visiting again soon!

My son and I ordered sushi (rice was hard) and a burger in the kiosk on the side, with the idea of take away, but later decided to sit in their tables. There was a waiter very rude who had a long face because we were sitting and had our food already with us. She later kicked us out telling we needed to clear the table even though 1/2 of tables were empty. I will never come back

This was a horrible experience since the second we sat down. The employees were rude and refused to correct a mistake made on their app because it was already paid for. Management is absent and you d think a $29 entree could at least come with hot fries. The fish and chips were frozen grocery store quality grease balls. Avoid

I can not believe that anyone would charge this!!! I wondered if this was an error...but nope it wasnt. We will never go back and let our friends and family know what we were charged. Very unhappy.

Stopped in for a quick bite we had close to about 25mins before I flight boarded, we ordered and received our orders fast in less than 10mins, we had to go orders but ate because the card reader wasn t working fast forward 15mins later after waiting patiently to pay for our meals we re told we must use cash, I said I don t have cash, the waitress demanded I get cash and that it s out of her control. I walked off, my plane was boarding after delaying my first flight by 4hrs. I did find an ATM nearby & pulled cash & gave it to the waitress, however, I would not have done this if it meant missing my flight. My colleague said the waitress told her she would call the police if I didn t return with cash, on what charges ma am? I live in Atlanta so I ll never revisit this restaurant or franchise again anyway, neither should you! A respectable business would ve comped the meal for us and put customer satisfaction over $20.

Located inside DFWs International Terminal D, for American Airlines departures, youll find the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. Plenty of food choices here in the immediate area, but you should definitely sit down here. Lots of draft choices to pair up with that damn delicious burger, but better yet, tip it back with those unbelievable Loaded Rocket Tots...holy smokes! And you thought you were only excited to fly to Scotland. Not after those tots! We ended up ordering the Duke and Saucer burgers, along with those infamous tots. Tasted like homemade backyard burgers, but better! Sorry Dad...

The facade and style of the establishment drew me in...this was about where the pleasantness ceased. The hostess wasnt exactly rude, but she sure wasnt polite. Figuring that she may just be having a bad day and tired of being ignored, I asked if I could take a seat at the bar. She let me walk over and asked for my help to clean where I wanted to sit. The bartender was great. Very friendly, attentive, and able to make suggestions, he helped guide me to a choice from their large tap selection. He also took my order, vice having me use a QR code that led me to an inaccurate menu. He was the only employee that had any positives about him. Everyone else very closely mirrored the hostess. I ordered the saucer burger and a semi-hazy IPA called The Manhattan Project. The beer was great, and Ill recommend it to anyone who really enjoys a New England IPA. The burger I cant recommend. I paid $17.99 for a wafer-thin patty (which was obviously a frozen disc moments before it hit my tray), a slice of romaine, and some sauce. The fries that accompanied the burger were just about awful. They somehow seemed a combination of stale and over cooked. Stop here for a brew. Youll pay more than normal, but its expected from an airport bar. Avoid the food. Its overpriced and quite low in quality.
