First time trying and the food was very good and prices are fair based on portions. I received a notification when my order was placed and when it was ready and the person who handed it to me was pleasant. My one critique is that I had to wait for the undecided ladies in front of me to order to pick up my order that was ready. Perhaps a to go station like Panera has could fix this. I was on lunch and while my wait was only about 5 minutes it could have been much longer. Highly recommend this place though.

I came here for the salmon burger because I love salmon but I also tried a piece of fried fish and the Mac n cheese! I can say hands down that fried fish was it!! Their customer service was wonderful and I loved the Mac n cheese! I saw a lot of complaints about the Mac n cheese but I love spice and Cajun and it was right up my alley - not too spicy but flavorful! I m writing this now before I got back for my second time here in a sec to get some more fish! Thank yall!

Well I HAVE NOW FOUND MY GO-TO SPOT FOR CATFISH FROM NOW ON!!! This is by far the best catfish I ve ever had. I ordered this through Uber Eats and it was still hot when it arrived at my doorstep!!! I asked for peppers/pickles and it was part of my order just as I requested. They also gave me an extra tartar sauce. First, I tried the catfish by itself. It s seasoned so well that it can be eaten without any sauce. Then, I tried it with hot sauce. It was good with the hot sauce. However, when I tried it with their homemade tartar sauce OUTSTANDING!!! I don t know what y all put in the tartar sauce but I could literally drink it! The only reason some tartar sauce is left is because I kept eating small pieces of the catfish by itself. You all truly outdid yourselves with this meal and I ll be recommending your establishment to anyone I know!

I cant say enough great things about Brunchaholics. The food is Fresh and delicious. The staff was incredidbily friendly. Not only was my food ready at the time given, but it was still hot when I got home. Their service is thorough, and the results are always fantastic. I highly recommend eating at Brunchaholics. The food was not good at all. The waffles was the best thing that they had the macaroni and cheese was brown spicey or jalapeño or something in it garlic. The chicken was fried in maybe two or three day old oil. was just dark dark brown with burnt areas on top, when cook food in old oil, it turns the chicken , fish whatever Brown that s why you know it s time to change the oil. I have never had spicy macaroni and cheese. They should tell people that they don t have traditional macaroni and cheese. My mouth is steals burning, stinging from one spoon full that I tasted 30 minutes ago very friendly people that stick to hospitality and leave chicken fish. Anything you have to eat alone, if you think I m driving your own risk pray before you go. This photo is macaroni and cheese. I have never seen anything like that before in my life that was macaroni and cheese.

I went to visit Aunt Irene s and realized the Desoto location was no longer open. I ran into a lady in the parking that said the food was really good and decided to give it a try. Now listen I come from a family of really good cooks so maybe my opinion is partial. I would like to start off by saying the customer service was amazing, very friendly and courteous staff. I have found that I m disappointed when I try food recommended by content creators, basically they lie. lol. Let s start with saying I think this food is pre- cooked maybe a day or 2 prior. And it s reheated and served, my only logical explanation. when I opened the box of chicken and waffles I expected 2 bone in thighs. But they were boneless thighs and very black as if they were cooked in dirty grease very black and dry. My son picked over the chicken and waffles. Mac and cheese was not edible, it was topped with lots of maybe Italian seasoning. Fish was decent but not seasoned really well and greens decent once I doctored them up but full of stems. But again none of the food seems fresh and cooked to order. I probably wouldn t try again, they seem like great people and I do wish their business the best.

The Catfish Soul Food Burrito was great. Very filling and easy on the stomach. Was expecting to feel heavy afterwards and it was the total opposite. The Mac n cheese made the burrito stand out. The right amount of seasoning in the Mac n cheese with the bitterness from the collard greens set my taste buds off. The catfish was an extra delight with the crispy flare. My colleague and I came to Brunchaholics after doing some research to find a place to sit and have a meeting. Although the inside didnt provide what I was looking for, I was NOT disappointed when I chose to stay and order my food. I had the pleasure of tasting the Blackened Salmon BLT (without the bacon), and believe me when I tell you that sandwich was amazing! The salmon was moist, flaky, and flavorful. It came with sweet potato fries, and they were good, too. Please go to this great spot and enjoy the delectable cuisine they offer! And no, this is NOT a fake review. I am a real person who loves great food. They did that!

Had the shrimp and grits. This dish was disappointing. Homemade brown gravy with onions (not rue), grits unseasoned, no cheese. The gravy should be used for mash potatoes or pork chops. This is definitely a takeout place. Friend had the wrap. That was better. 4/5.

I got a taste of Brunchaholics during Coivd, so I am familiar with the brand. I finally got a chance to visit the storefront location. Not only was the food above average, the customer service is what will keep me coming back. Everything about my experience was refreshing. From the quality of the food, ordering, speed of service, everything was good. I got the shrimp and grits. Ive always been a sugar and grits kind of girl but Brunchaholics changed my view. The sopapilla cheesecake was just the right touch of sweet (not overly sweet). I see a food truck and a chain of restaurants in your future. Many blessings

The food was fantastic. Things to note, this is not some where you can go and sit down and if you are going it would be better to call your order in prior to arriving. I wasn t aware of this, however, the wait wasn t terribly long, we were there right at opening, so I could imagine if it were later into the day with multiple order the wait could have been longer. With that said, the food is definitely worth it. The service was great, I will definitely be back.

The Soulfood Burrito is dopeness. Been supporting him since he was traveling in the coffee shop etc. Now that they are in Desoto they are still good but no where to dine in which makes a tiny difference when you wanting it piping hot....no worries though...these boys heat up WELL! ONLY SMALL ISSUE....consistency is key....nobody can make it quite like the owner...whe he is there its PERFECTLY wrapped and stuffed for multiple bites side to side...dripping out to catch ...I mean it is PHENOMENAL. But when he is off...and everyone deserves rest....but when he is off...its good but there is a difference in size/wrap/ratios of ingredients. I had the salmon BLT, which was good but the bacon was limp I prefer a lil crunch. My cousin had the burrito, she stated it was good but my other cousin had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was clearly burned. But he didn t send it back and the peach cobbler was dry. The atmosphere is very plain, this is not a dine in location. From the website they make it seem as such, you have to take your food and go. I would revisit but not the first on my list, I possibly could live without.

I ordered catering for a baby shower. Let me tell you, the food was incredible. Probably some of the best greens Ive had in my life. I dont know how they season it, but it was great. My husband and I are fried catfish snobs and faithful Friday connoisseurs. We have lived in DeSoto for nearly 10 years and have searched that long for a good mid priced catfish restaurant. I can now say we have found our catfish home with Brunchaholics. The catfish is fried to perfection as well as the fries. The portions are above average and the sauce they provide is delicious. The location is only a few miles away. The parking lot is a little tight and always busy on Fridays but I have found the right time slot for pick-up. The food is ready as per the time slots Ive selected and on my second visit, the staff remembered me. That was impressive. FINALLY!

First I want to talk about Mac and cheese had distinct flavors that explode in your mouth it had a little heat and herbs in it. The service from the family business was top notch. Save your money.. 1. Ordered my food in person. Chicken and waffles AND catfish and fries. I was told I would get a text when food was ready. 2. Waited in my car and went inside to get my food the moment I get a text. You would think my food would be piping hot... NOPE 3. The chicken.. was that even chicken? There was no bone, that was not a breast or tender for that matter. I looked at the menu 5 times to confirm that this was not jackfruit or vegan chicken. The chicken product was rubbery and stringy. Placed Order Online Order: 3 piece Catfish with fries, Chicken Soul Food Burrito and a side of greens. After driving 22 minutes home, the catfish was still hot, crispy & well seasoned. The tartar sauce & hot sauce was EVERYTHING!!!!! The fries were hot & thick with a Cajun seasoning flavor. The Chicken Soul Food Burrito was just ok (tik tok video said the burrito included yams but I didnt have yams in mine) & the greens were lacking seasoning and gave me an out of the can Glory greens vibe. One thing I love is good food! Brunchaholics DEFINITELY delivers! I heard of them for a couple of years & would always miss the pop up shops. I finally got to experience their Soul Food Burrito at there old location on Ross and I was hooked! Fast forward, to January 2024 and to my surprise theyre now less than 5 minutes from my house! Talk about WINNING! Its not often we get good finger lickin, hearty, tasty & trendy food on this side of town, without having to drive 20-30 minutes. A nice spot with a friendly relaxed ALL inclusive vibe. The service was good. The place was clean with somewhat of minimal farmhouse modern appeal, simple. Im not a huge fan of soul food. However, I enjoyed their renditions. A good place to meet-up for brunch, lunch, and conversations with friends and associates to hang out. As tasty as the chicken and waffles are, the soul food burrito with catfish is my favorite. While it came be enjoyed by all ages, the age group appeared to mostly be mid 20s & upper 30s.

Food was good. The burrito was just ok but I would order again only because the greens and Mac was not over powering with the chicken. The shrimp and grits was amazing. My boyfriend ordered that and I kept eating his. The waffles were nice and fluffy. Not much parking but was told you can park at Title Max so not sure how that works during the week. I was nervous that we wouldnt be all able to sit together since our party didnt come on time. But we were seated in the rest of our party came within 5 minutes, under 10 minute grace period. I wanted to give 4 starts because we ordered food to go while we were still eating but it took almost 45 minutes to get to us and we had to ask about it. The servers were nice and accommodating and the food was good i gave 5 instead of a strong 4. We will definitely be back probably for thr drive thru until they get liquor on the menu.

I wasn t able to be be seated. Me and a friend were supposed to eat here. Made reservations. We re told that we would be called when our table was ready. We waited nearly an hour and was never called. The lady who was responsible for calling people when the tables were ready acted like she didn t want to be bothered, when we would check on the status of our table b/c we waited so long. How we knew we were waiting so long was b/c when we arrived there was a car in the drive thru who was waiting the entire time for their food the whole time we waited for our table. The lady allowed people who were 45 minutes late for their reservations still get seated. Where they do that at? This is why I sometime am apprehensive of supporting black owned businesses. Not all but majority lack customer service, and feel because they have a food product that it will keep people coming. IDC, if your customer service sucks, I won t return.

The Soul Food burrito wasn t bad, but it wasn t anything amazing. I was a bit disappointed, it tasted like some stuffing was in it, and I didn t expect that. The greens also didn t have much flavor. The catfish was good, though. The brisket Mac & cheese was the best thing there; it was full of flavor. The portion here is good for the price; nothing was small. The service wasn t amazing, but not bad. I m not sure if their air was out, but it was really hot and loud, so you had to yell to talk to your friends. We were in and out in under 30 minutes.

Everything was amazing. We had a little a bit of everything and it was all amazing. Catfish was fried just right. Brisket macaroni bowl was EVERYTHING. Greens were on point. My family and I basically order the whole menu to taste everything. We got the Buffalo Mac n cheese, fish and grits, salmon blt, greens, and chicken. We got our fish on the side so it could be eaten later and not soggy from the sauce. EVERYTHING was good! No complaints and reasonably priced for what you get. Todays service was a little disappointing I ordered online a head of time pre paid and all, arrived at the restaurant drive through line was busy but not unexpected. the food and service was horrible. My family ordered the chicken and waffles, the chicken wings, and the burrito. First they ran out of chicken wings. Second my family waited an hour to receive our food even though we had reservations. The waffle tasted like a dry piece of cornbread, the mac and cheese was horrible, the chicken was full of grease. I had this restaurant saved on my Google as a want to go spot. Now Im gonna save it under Favorites! Okay the food was . I made such a mess of myself eating this sammich(but I didnt care ). Everything was perfectly seasoned and the portion sizes are well worth the cost. My coworker Kanethia is my foodie sister and she said the same thing. The restaurant has a black and white color scheme going which is a bit blah for me, but the food, staff, and ambiance was amazing. The staff was so polite and inviting, they definitely made us feel welcomed. You do have to make a reservation online and it is contactless ordering using their QR code. Its fairly easy and no fuss. I was so pleased with the service and at how quick our food came out. I am in so much trouble, because I cant wait to go back and try some more menu items. 10/10

None our food came out hot! My partner had the soul food burrito with catfish. That was also tragic to our taste buds. The macaroni wasnt season that was in it. The greens were salty, but the fry on the fish was good. I also ordered a side of greens and those were salty. Again, none of our food was hit and was just warm. We were hungry and did not want to wait to have them remake the food. Please wipe down the hot sauce and ketup bottles. Thanks in advance. #BlackOwned I went here for a birthday brunch and had mixed feelings. The food was amazing, literally everyone in my group enjoyed their food (it was 7 of us). We all had soul food plates, soul food burritos, sweet potato cobbler, and banana pudding. It was all great! However, the service wasn t the best. It took us awhile to get our food and it all seemed a little unorganized. They seem like they re still getting things together. They also don t sell alcohol, I thought this was is for a brunch spot. The outdoor seating is nice though, they have nice coverings from the sun and good music. I plan to go back this summer to check it out again because I think they have potential.

Everything from the beginning to the end was perfect! All the employees were respectful, the food came out quick, there was constant interaction with everyone to ensure I was taken care of and the vibe was on point. As for as the food OMG!!! My wife and I found Brunchaholics on Yelp. There were only about 13 Google reviews at the time, although the ones available were were favorable. Pictures of the food looked a bit too good to be true (pretty and tasty?), but it was early enough to eat again if we didn t love the food. Thankfully, there was no need nor a desire to eat again because the chicken, waffle, Mac and cheese and peach cobbler were deliciously filling. The ingredients are quality.
