Area manager is rude!!!! Called to complain and she hung up in my face. When I went back she claimed she was having issues with the phone (yeah right). Smoothie was watery, nasty and tasted like ginger (which I didn t order). She told me the smoothie was watery because I had had it awhile (that s a lie) I stopped going there a while back but decided to stop by again today and they will never get another dime from me. She needs to be better trained on her people skills

I went to smoothie king in Desoto today and was treated very poorly customer service! I was yelled at and disrespected! I had a coupon that I was given the day before to buy 1 get 1 free and when I was trying to use the coupon today the lady refused me to use it she said It was for pumpkin smoothies only! So I asked her for her manager which she pretended to be! She said it was mo one else there but all of a sudden her regional manager asked to speak with me Raquel informed me the girl was wrong and she shouldve honored my coupon to buy 1 get 1 free! So I went into the store to let the girl know how to handle customer service! So because I came into the store they wouldnt service me and gave me my money back! If the stupid girl to begin with knew how to give good customer service i wouldnt have had to go off. All she had to do was go to her regional manager first dummy! I was treated so bad and I always go to this location in Desoto! Yall need to train your workers better and stop allowing them to pretend to be a manager! The regional manager was horrible too!!! It was the worse experience Ive ever had a smoothie king!!! I called corporate and made a complaint Im waiting for them to call me in 24 hours!! This is ridiculous I always go here but the people working today included the regional manager was horrible workers!!!!!!

I ordered through the mobile app like 10-15 minutes early. I get there. My order isnt ready. The guy tells me to pull around again once its closer to the estimated time I was given. Mind you, there was nobody there in the drive thru, nobody inside, and when I asked for a refund, they told me no because its an online order. All I do is order online. I have never had an establishment tell me they cant give me a refund ever. Smh. Needless to say, I wont be back. The Mgr ended up bringing me my drinks, but at that point, I didnt even want them. Their logic makes no sense to me, and those smoothies are too high for customer service to suck!!

This is the most unprofessional non customer friendly store I ve ever been to! The first time I came into the store I ordered an açaí bowl with the ingredients on the side. The young man that took my order was amazing and so nice but he kept acting paranoid like he was scared of his manager. She walks out from back with no shoes on walking around the store then proceeds to eat lunch with her friends inside the store during working hours. Cool no problem with doing that but I find it strange that the next time I came they told me the ingredients weren t allowed to be put in a separate container I ve done this at every smoothie king I ve been to. I asked why since it s the same effort to scoop the ingredients in a separate cup and she said it s the rule. I find it strange that fruit separating is where they draw the line but walking around barefoot is ok?? Ok smoothie king

As I was leaving, the managers attitude was incredibly disrespectful, and she refused to provide her name when asked. This level of poor customer service is unacceptable. I hope Smoothie King addresses this issue promptly and ensures that all their employees treat customers with the respect they deserve. This experience has certainly made me reconsider visiting this location in the future.

THIS is the worst Smoothie King ever!! I went to this DeSoto location to get a Blueberry Raspberry Vegan Power Meal Smoothie last week, and the lady with long dreads, I believe shes the owner or Manager, made my order incorrectly, even though my receipt showed everything that I had asked for.. I was given a Cinnamon Banana Smoothie with dairy, I am VEGAN! I informed her that the order was incorrect, I then asked for my money back, she refused to return my money, she instead snatched my receipt and the smoothie out of my hand, and told me that I had to come inside. I would give this location a Zero star if possible, but a 1 is the lowest allowed. Please do NOT go to this Smoothie King it was the worst experience ever!!!!!

Fri I thought I placed order on the app, but it didnt go through. I placed my order in store and still waited over 30 minutes for my smoothie. I was about to get refund, and manager was like I can make it right now myself. A better system needs to be in place for pick up, it had happened twice that day. The way the team works together and shows their passion for their job is so wonderful to see. I purchased this bowl and paid $1.25 for extra PB and this is what I got. I asked the young man who brought it to my car if he would put more PB on it. He came back out and said the lady inside was tripping and would not add more PB. So I went in with my receipt to ask for more PB and the lady was rudely telling me that I got extra PB. If you look at other pictures posted there is clearly extra PB but what she gave me was a drizzle. She was very argumentative to have been the manager/co-owner. I will never come back to this location and have told friends and family to do the same. I will also be contacting corporate because they need to know what kind of people are representing their company and product. That was unacceptable customer service and a terrible example of how to treat a customer in front of her staff. Does my pic look like extra PB?

This is a business that I frequent often . However, today I pulled up to the drive through to order and I felt rushed .I wanted to try something different so it took a little longer for me to look at the menu. There was not a car behind me so I was not holding anyone up but Marlin decided to come on the speaker to tell me that they are being timed and It doesn t matter if it is a car behind me . I should come in if I needed more time with the menu .I m a customer I could ve cared less if you all are being timed. Im not holding anyone up so I didn t see the problem . She was very rude about it and at that point I didn t want them to make my shake so I drove off. I would rather drive to the location off of Wheatland before I deal with rude service because that was unacceptable! Do better people !!

Ive been to a few Smoothie Kings around Dallas and its suburbs, and I would like to say ( I may be a little biased) but my own home town Smoothie King is the best ! I had some issues with another Smoothie King in the area and went to mine in Desoto and got the help I needed ! The two employees that helped me, Keora and Haley, went out of their way to make sure my problems were solved! They showed me what the problem was with the other Smoothie King and I got what I was looking for ! Thanks to them Ill be a loyal Smoothie King customer forever! Service is horrible, I ordered on the mobile app and pulled in the drive thru with only one car in it and was told that my order just came through and for me to pull back in the drive thru in 15 minutes. Instead of going ahead and making my order like every other location if they not busy. When I came in and asked for a refund, all of a sudden she already made it. Which one is it? I asked while in the drive thru if they can go ahead and make it but she stopped listening after she finished talking. When I came in no one ever addressed me or spoke too busy with only a few customers. I ll just go to the Grand Prairie location where I get way better service.

I have been there several times and never had a problem with the service. Today, I ordered a smoothie and half way through a piece of hair was found. I actually tasted hair in my mouth. When I called, the employee told me that they all have locks, and I have braids but this long piece of hair was in my mouth. She went on to tell me that they cannot make me a new one since I drank half. Are you serious? Do you think I want another one? Then she says well I am sorry and hangs up. I called back and spoke to someone in leadership who told me it was against policy for her to refund me because I drank it. It is definitely against my policy to drink something with hair. Sat in the line waiting patiently around 6:40am knowing that they open at 7. A woman s voice came on the speaker advising they don t open until 7. I let her know I understood and was overlooking the menu. Then I drove off to grab my husband a breakfast sandwich from Whataburger to kill time. I come back and she tells me she is opening more around 7:15. I had already driven to this location after the Wheatland location was shut down to install a new POS. Their site said they opened at 6:30am. This is really wack and y all are too damn expensive for this lack of customer service!! Might I add that I only see this in the black neighborhoods. 10/13/23 Still recommend this location. Very present management and young man at the drive through that morning were very personable and helpful. My order is always extra specific and when there was a small mix up, they were able to get it taken care of. I even had issues with the card reader for my app and they had a ready solution. After leaving a smoothie king for not having strawberries we decided to go to another one in Desoto. Once we got there we started ordering just to be told we can only place an order for 3 drinks. We had order 2 Angel food and 2 little angels. No reason given on why. We looked to see if it was busy but there wasn t that many people. No other Smoothie King has ever told us this. Not to mention the women who took over was rude. The gentleman who was taking the order had told us about the 3 orders per car which at first we got confused and seconds later a women took over and told us in a rude way about use only ordering 3 drinks and if we wanted the 4th drink that we would have to either get off and get it inside or drive back around. Literally took maybe 5 seconds to see what we wanted to do and she rudely said are you still there? And I m guessing someone told her we were because then she said well I can t hear him so once we received that type of attitude we decided to leave and not order anything for us to just go to McDonald s and get smoothies there. Thank goodness this is not my local smoothie king and go to one that they tired their best to get us similar drinks with no strawberries.

I go to this location EVERYDAY and happily overpay, just to support healthy options in the community. (this location charges for substitutions while others do not) Normally the experience is rather pleasant but as of late the quality has gone down... way down I received a severely watered down smoothie with huge chunks of of ice. Not only was the ice uncomfortable to chew through when trying to enjoy a smoothie, but the smoothie tasted horrible. I called to speak with a manager and complain but was told to call back the next day because she wasnt there. I called the next day and what sounded like the same person told me I was supposed to call on the day before (the day it happened). I told him that was unacceptable and that I needed to speak with the manager. He said the manager was out handling something but that hed have them call me back. Of course I never received a call. Horrible, HORRIBLE choice in management. Aline Johnson, was extremely rude to me this morning. As i was looking at the menu, she screamed at me and rushed me.. I m a 16 year old girl and was told to walk across the two way street to McDonald s with rain that leaves the roads barely visible to wait out the storm that wouldn t even last another 10 minutes. The lack of compassion in the manager is disgusting and inhumane. Eradicate the issue.

Chunkiest smoothie I ve ever had in my life. I didn t even realize there were nuts in this smoothie until I had to chew this smoothie today and looked up the ingredients to find there are almonds in here. I tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt, but there s a different issue each time I come (last time the wait in the drive through was at least 20 minutes AFTER I placed my order). I would rather go out of my way to go to another location than to pay for subpar service and quality.

My first time visiting smoothie establishment trying to make diet better but young lady in drive thru was not customer friendly. My total was 7.01 and I gave her a 20. She proceeded to hand me my change 12.99 and dropped most of the change on the ground. I told her I could have given her a penny if there was a problem. Smoothie was good though. Common sense. Maybe Im being petty. Will try them again though.

I normally have a decent experience with this location. This morning was very different and disturbing. I stopped by for a mango kale smoothie. Keep in mind .. my office team frequents this location. I ordered a 20 oz. I had a coupon in my console I wanted to use. I knew I would have to pay the slight difference for any enhancers. Upon reaching the window, the young lady took my coupon and asked someone inside for help. Then another young lady comes over with a slight attitude. where did you get this coupon from? Was it here? Who gave it to you? I answered the questions. Then the older lady comes out with fire in her voice. stating that she didn t give me the coupon. At this time I told them I would pay for my drink and inquired why the coupon was not redeemable. She continued to say her store didn t issue it. I asked if it stated that I couldn t use it at this location. She then closed the drive thru window. As much as I didn t want to pay for the drink after her behavior. I paid for it to time stamp my visit and our communication. As that seem to be the previous issue. She said her location didn t give me the coupon attached. There is definitely a way to communicate. People choose to spend their money. Any business franchise or not should be elated to receive the money and the thought that comes with being chosen. I assume this woman was in a lead position. This was not the way to demonstrate to her team how to handle any situation. It s disturbing and extremely disappointing to say the least.

I was treated very poorly by a manager by the name of Ms. Johnson. She was yelling thru the drive in window. She got my order wrong after I offered to drive to the window to reiterate my order. She then told me they dont take orders at the window. The young lady read my order back and the order was completely wrong. Ive been coming to this smoothie king since it open and almost 3xs a week Ive never been treated like she treated me today. She didnt want to here what I had to say, when attempting to speak with her like an adult and my elder instead she dismissed me and canceled my wrong order. Everytime I order a strawberry extreme when I get to the window they want to give me strawberry kiwi. This happens all the time everytime I go. When I order I never say kiwi I specifically say strawberry extreme. And when I correct them they get upset but it s like I m paying for what I want not what you want to give me. This is probably the 5th time they want to give me another drink other than the one I want. And they want to say that I need to know the difference like no clearly you don t know the difference when I m specifically saying strawberry extreme not strawberry kiwi extreme. I just left this location and am now remembering why I stopped going. The workers are rude and really have little to no knowledge of smoothie making or customer service. I like Styrofoam cups and received a plastic. I asked to the cashier to switch it out for me. (Would probably take less than two minutes). She said the line was too long. I would have to come in if I wanted to switch. Ok fine. I go inside and the manager or whoever she was seems to have an attitude because I wanted a Styrofoam cup. Also while she was taking the order I felt rushed.this location is right up the street from my house but id rather go to cedar hill location.

First, they tried to upsell without covering the basics such as asking Do you want a foam cup? I always get a foam cup from Smoothie King to keep my drink insulated, but instead I got a regular plastic cup. The Peanut Power Plus was not properly blended, it has small ice chunks and peanut butter chunks. This in turn caused the smoothie to get stuck in the straw. The woman at the drive thru window was not pleasant. She seemed frustrated and overwhelmed. This disposition comes off as having a bad attitude, or in better terms bad customer service. She also lacked patience. When she scanned my app, as my form of payment, I had a $2.00 reward, so the final payment was $4.54. She kept asking for it, but the payment eventually went through from the QR code in the app. It just took a little longer to process when applying the reward. It s my first time at this location. I ll continue to go to the one on 1382 in Cedar Hill. I hope they get the help and training that s needed.

I have been going to this new location for over a month now. It is definitely hit and miss some days. Pass few days that I have went. It was a huge MISS! I always ask for a 40 oz and they give me a 32 oz while charging me for the 40 oz ... I guess I need to ask if my drink is a 40 oz before leaving. Some of the workers look like they do not want to be there. I hope management is treating the worker right. Because it is definitely being seen with their results

This was one of my worse smoothie king experiences. Lil lady at the window is new obviously she handed me something that I knew was not mine. I told her and she tells me this is what you ordered ma am no it s not. Anywho. They rung me up for the wrong size. And to top it off my smoothie is watery and lacks so much of what I was looking for. I get 3 enhancements and I can barely taste it. I d steer clear of this place till they can get it together. $12 worth of smoothie long wait only to get nothing I asked for I was already having a day and they made it worse I regret even wanting smoothie king today.
