Thought this was going to be my go-to for fried rice. How disappointing! The combination friedRice seemed old, and the hacked up chicken tenders and other parts,was unappealing and tasteless. If I lived closer I would have returned it. I will try something different next time.

So I decided to try this place after passing by it several times and the mixed reviews. The drive thru was full and wrapped around the buildings entrance. So I made my order for a 5pc dark meal, 3 PC dark meal and 10pc hot wings. Just to get a variety of the sides and offerings. So all the meat came out steaming as it was fresh and tasty. So I was very impressed. But the sides were not as fresh and I was disappointed with the fried rice as it was very sad looking and tasting. The individual at the cashier was very professional and had no issues. The atmosphere was decent as DeSoto is nice to me so far. So this is a decent spot for good chicken and adding it to my places in the area.

My 103 year old Grandma was telling me about this place and she wanted some fish. She said my uncle used to drive there from Oak Cliff when he was alive. I was told by my neighbor about this restaurant and he talks about it all the time so I was in the area and decided that I would stop in and give them a try. But I didnt actually go in the dining room I went to the drive through. They have a very big menu to choose from so I was kind of skeptical about what I was going to eat although I love chicken but I also saw that they serve gizzard so I tried those . I dont know if that was my best decision because they were so good I began to wonder if the rest of the food tastes the same and if the chicken tastes like the gizzards Im a customer for life. As of right now Im anxious to go back and Im trying to contain myself because they were the best gizzards that I had ever eaten and now I know why my neighbor speaks so highly of this restaurant.

Drove from lancaster, wanted to try something different bought a family mixed chicken and two sided, got home order incorrect, didnt get my peppers. Chicken old cold and hard. Took it back had to wait in the drive thru to return it. Get to the window and he snatched the bag out of my hand and gave me cash instead of putting it back on my card. I said it was 20.25 wheres my change. Ive already burned a lot of gas back and forth and then sat in line. No I wont go back.

For two people we spent a bit over 20$ and honestly it was worth it. We needed a large quanity of food to serve the family after a funeral in a short notice. This place came thru for us. They were very friendly the entire process and the food was ready to be picked up as scheduled. They even went as far as putting the food in the car for me. We spoke to several different workers from deciding what to order through the entire pickup process. Each person was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be going back. Very clean environment. The staff were friendly and proficient. The food was very delicious . The seasoning of the chicken actually permeated the meat and not just the skin. The portions were excellent for the price. The fried okra was crispy and delicious without being over done. The fried rice was perfectly balanced and not over seasoned. They have had a higher score in the past and no issues with the food. Issues were with order not being completed properly and no attention to the price differences on the outside menu. It was a let down right down go asking for a drink with no ice and it didnt happen either where i got charged the higher of the 3 piece mixed posted prices. The staff are not conscientious. I asked for shrimp. There was no courteous to ask if I wanted cocktail sauce or tartar. They gave me tarter sauce in which I do not eat. I asked for corn on the cob and they gave me the nasty instant potatoes with the gravy. So I tried to call maybe ten minutes after I left to let them know and they DO NOT ANSWER the phone which is irritating. Therefore, I will have to save my ticket and get a refund or get corn the next time. Why be in service and not answer the phone. Come on! Be accountable. Pay attention to your orders and verify with the person in line of the drive through. Gas is too high to drive back! Plus think that if you mess up an order that you have to deliver it. Maybe that will make you have better customer service.

This was a good alternative to a burger or fried fish for lunch. I ordered the shrimp fried rice. It was good I didnt expect it to be fried but it gave it added texture which I enjoyed. The rice was not greasy and it was firm to The taste. I hate mushy rice so Im glad this was cooked to perfection.

Left Lucy s about an hour ago. The girl at the window was rude. She handed me my cc and I said thank you and she closed the window. She handed me my food and again in said thank you and she closed the window and walked off. Now on to the food quality. The gizzards were not fully cooked and they were clumped together, the chicken tenders were flavorless. Lucy s use to be good. Never again will pay wages for bad customer service and food.
