Today was my 2nd time trying them & Ive come to the conclusion that I dont like it. I ordered the 3 wing basket. The fries were gross, the wings were a good size. The wings were flavorless. I ordered the medium spice and only the top wing had spice on it. The bread wasnt edible, it was full of grease from the chicken.

I paid for a box of flavorless grease :( This is my second time eating here. Sat about 3ish I ordered 3 wings,greens,Kool aid and a cake. Saturday afternoon.. Customer service was great.. It took about 25mins from ordering until we received our food.. We ordered a 6pc catfish with fries. Catfish was hot, fresh, fried and seasoned to perfection!! The fries... were not hot-maybe lukewarm at best.. Well have to try again and update the review if its better..

2 Neighbors Hot Chicken at 324 E Belt Line Rd, DeSoto, TX 75115 - Inside Grow DeSoto Market Place What can I say this was a chicken eating experience. The hot things on their menus are the chicken sandwich, the chicken tenders even the fried fish. Today I kept it simple I got the chicken sandwich with coleslaw inside some macaroni and cheese. Also they had eight piece chicken tenders and I got it medium. Medium was pretty hot to me I want it bottled water I actually went to other places there looking for some bottled water but I wound up coming back getting a bottle of water and Kool-Aid First macaroni and cheese was mid-level at best. It was not as good as the person is counter said it was but I did mix it with some fries and chicken tenders and the sauce lol the chicken sandwich was very tasty with that coleslaw it was top level. The chicken tenders were well done that crust on it with that sauce was a little bit hotter than I thought it was but I ate them all. And washing it down with that delicious Kool-Aid. My blood sugar cause me to start an instant 24-hour fast. Plus I went to the park and walked at least a mile. Overall this is definitely a place that I would like to come back and try more things and probably bring friends and family too in the future. This food Hall has always been a hidden gem in DeSoto for very interesting and delicious food choices. Please take your time and come check them out inside. Update: I received a call in regards to my order and they were very apologetic, I received a replacement order today and it was delicious like I remember before! I m so mad they changed their quality of fish or the provider and it s literally thin small pieces with hardly any meat!! It s seasoned so well but the fish is trash quality! I d prefer the prices get raised for better product than what I paid for today. Also, the sauce was spilled all over my fries so those didn t get eaten, packaging could be alot better.

Bought the platter for $45.00. You get 3 fish, 2 pork chop, 3 wings, and 3 sides of your choice. Container they put the sides in are too damn small. The fish was fried to damn hard, pork chop no flavoring, yam were really good and collard greens to. First time trying it. Should have taken a picture. Forgot to take pictures of the food. Chicken wings are good but fries are always trash. They use delivery services but don t use temperature sustaining packages to assure the food is hot when it arrives to the customers. I don t believe they send out fresh fries to begin with (I can tell when something has sit up) and then the poor packaging finishes them off. They re always cold and har. Times are harder and I have to justify ordering from a place. I can t keep patronizing a place that doesn t have enough respect for customers to send out fresh food every time. I give 2 to three chances if I taste potential but today they lost me as a customer-worst order yet.

The fries were good. The chicken strips were really good, even though the spice level wasn t much of a medium, it wasnt very spicy. The fish was a disappointment. It tasted not fresh, like it had been cooked once, sat up for a while, then cooked again. It had a small amount of meat on it. And for almost $25 after tax for a meal of 4 fillets, that was unacceptable. We were told 30 mins and waited for 50. The strips and collard greens saved my experience for this place, otherwise I would ve given it 1 star. I m leaving this review because I want this place to succeed. I spent $78 here (including a 15% tip) and would do it again. I hope for a better result next time.

At first, my intention was to sample the fish, but my son insisted on tasting the chicken. Surprisingly, the wings were incredibly tasty. However, my excitement for the chicken tenders and catfish was dampened as it appeared that I was served a batch that had been precooked, became cold, and then refried. While the fish plates fries were perfectly cooked, the fries on the chicken plate were disappointingly tough to savor. Regrettably, my expectations were not met.

If I could leave a damn zero I would. I have attempted to order from this place several times on doordash and never actually gotten my food EVER! The order is placed... accepted ...then pushed back for over and over for an hour and a half both times. I just cancelled both time because it was not the time expectation given when placing my order. Its maddening this place is still allowed to be on doordash offering service you never get. I will never ATTEMPT to order from this place again! Take a chance ordering from this place on doordash at your own risk you might be waiting some hours to end up with no food. READ THIS REVIEW I give 10 stars and this is why ! The first time I had 2 neighbors was through a friend. It was the catfish and fries and it was A-MAZING!!! The catfish was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. It was also perfectly seasoned, just spicy enough for me to enjoy (I got medium). The fries were also cooked and seasoned perfectly. And it was sooo filling!!! The second time I had it (different day), I ordered the same thing, catfish and fries, because it was just that good! However, I was disappointed to find the fillets were smaller and cooked too hard, so it wasn t flaky on the inside like the first time. Also, the fries were hard. So I went to speak with the manager Ce-Ce directly later that day, because it was so different from the first time. The manager was very open to listen and receptive of the feedback I had given. She didn t get offended or upset, which showed me that she truly cared about her product (food) AND customers, which I loved because this is VERY RARE these days. So of course I went back (a different day) and got catfish, chicken tenders and fries, and EVERYTHING was seasoned and cooked PERFECTLY!! And it was EVEN BETTER this time only because I didn t wait to eat my food so it was HOT & FRESH!! Because of this I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order from 2 Neighbors Hot Chicken. Most places overcharge you for small portions and barely speak when they see you, but the people here acknowledge you AND you get a good portion at a reasonable price. That s a WIN WIN for me! (I had already started eating before taking the picture attached. It comes with more food than shown in the pic.) This place is a hidden gem located in the Grow Desoto Marketplace . I was looking forward to trying this place. My family recommended and said they were good. Maybe it was just a bad day. Sadly I wont be back, a waste of $43. The fish was extremely overcooked that it was not even white on the inside. It was dark, hard, and greasy. My husband and daughter all agreed that it was overcooked, and too greasy. Myself and my son went by on a Sunday and ordered 2 Sundays Specials. A catfish plate and a mild 4 wing plate. The turnaround time was about 25 minutes so not horrible as far as the wait time. But for some reason the food wasn t piping hot after the wait. It was real catfish and not swai but the pieces were pretty small and they didn t have hot sauce. The fish breading didn t really have flavor in my opinion and I only picked off of 1 piece. My son said the chicken wasn t bad and the outside crust was so hard. He also has braces but so he peeled the breading off and ate the inside. I didn t care for the greens but the mac and cheese was actually really good. I would probably not return because the food quality and price point are not really a good match. We spent about $ 45 dollars on 2 plates.

Seen this place on tik tok so I decided to give it a try. There was a line so in my mind I m like okay the food about to slap. But then had to remember that Dallas hype up anything. The chicken was fried super hard. You can smell the old grease. Even a kid walked by and asked what was that smell. Almost every customer waited an hour and a half PLUS for their food. I can t make this up. Honestly wasn t worth the wait and definitely over hyped. Only the outside of the chicken had seasoning. And as I m reading reviews to make sure I wasn t tripping about the chicken not being seasoned I m finding them arguing back with customers about the reviews and THEIR personal experience is unprofessional. Take the feedback and apply the pressure to do better. For that alone I won t be back.

I got there very excited about this place and the hype. Unfortunately i was not so satisfied. I got the 4tender combo a strawberry cake and Kool Aid and was advised it would be about 15minutes. NOT the case at all! I sat there for over 45 minutes. The chicken was soggy there was absolutely no crunch to it. My fries where mushy as well (this is immediately when I received my food) when I ordered the cake it was sitting right on the counter just for them to sale it to someone else and then tell me they are all out so I had to sub it with a Butter cake which was amazing. Bae bragged about this place for weeks so I decided to give them a try. He took the load off by placing the order for me and I would go pickup. I arrived and was a little turned around because i did not see the restaurant. I called the restaurant and the guy said to come inside the marketplace. Note: it s located on the right side of the marketplace when you facing it. He definitely could have told me that anyhow I end up passing three people who said nothing and going to 2Neighbors Burgers and Shakes . Which is right next to them wrong spot though after standing there looking crazy for 5 minutes. I finally was to the right place. I did not like the cleanliness of their countertop. I was able to get my paid order after the lady threw in my face that she was watching me look lost the whole time. I got the black bag of food to the car and immediately wanted to taste the fries Disgusting . And I took notice that they were not the crinkles that I seen on the previous reviews. I made it to the house to finally eat my chicken sandwich. Delicious . The chicken was perfectly fried, the perfect amount of coleslaw on it and the bread perfectly toasted.. I was surprised that it was not hot Will I be able to overlook the cleanliness and horrible customer service No!!! Ima get Bae to deal with it otherwise no tasty chicken sandwiches for me!

The chicken sandwiches are not that great, honestly think Popeyes tastes better. Make sure you check your order before you leave, ordered twice from here, decided to give it a second chance, but still didnt get my complete order. First time it took me about an hour and the second time about an hour and 30 minutes. They blame it on being busy but they dont seem to have a system for phone orders and online orders. Take your chances but I wont be returning.

I got the turkey burger last night on Door Dash. The turkey burger was a good size, seasoned, and really tasty. It came with crinkle fries that tasted like they had a little garlic parm seasoning on them. They were good. The burger didnt come with mayo or mustard on it, but that was fine. I added that. The bun was really good... and the toppings were super fresh. There was a question about my order and when the attendant called, she was very kind, knowledgeable, and open to make whatever change that I needed. I will definitely be back.

5000 stars for this business! I love the fact that your food is cooked after you order! You get fresh out of the fryer wings and fries! You may have to wait a little longer for your order, but I ll take that if it means fresh! If you haven t been to 2neighbors ya sleep! Dietary restrictions: Because they make the food fresh I was able to have them do light seasoning on my chicken to accommodate my hypertension. They were so nice! When I received my order I told the lady thank you, because I was truly grateful for the accommodations. She said I hope you enjoy it, and we appreciate your business! Parking: Lots of optional parking! Kid-friendliness: They gave my kids complimentary cake and cold drinks while we waited for our meals. It s the small things for me. It s giving Chick-fil-A service over here with flavor!

Man, say! Ive just added this spot to my favorites! First time here. The chicken sandwich was really good. Nicely seasoned! But that CATfish! That was my favorite! The food is good but it is never ready when they say it will be. Takes a long time for food to be prepared. If you have time to wait cool but if not order ahead and be sure to call to make sure order is ready before going up there. Today was the fourth time my order was not ready and I ordered ahead on doordash, it said order ready for pickup and still waited 20 mins for my food.

This was my first visit in a year we tried the hot chicken before and it was super delish. This time we went for the fried fish. We placed an order over the phone with a 15 min-wait but got there and it was another 15-min wait . Not so bad but our order was incorrect. They quickly made it right AND offered us free cake. The cake was good too - it was banana pudding cake!! The fish was very very very good - crispy, hot and just perfect. We will definitely go back and give it another try because it was sooo good!!!!!

Baby y all need to stop looking at these other reviews because everything that 2 neighbors hot chicken serves is with pride and love. The food is made fresh, that s why it s take a while to cook the chicken depending on what it is. They make sure every customers get s fresh food, and they make sure their plating is presentable. And to say those who read the reviews before coming to try their food; know that you are buying chicken that will possibly take up to 15-20 mins to cook. I would rather wait for perfection then to get half-raw chicken instead of being impatient like some others do.

I m not going to lie about my experience here. The service is low quality. They took forever to make my food, longer than the 15 minutes like I was told that it would take. It s fried food I tried being patient but the I noticed how none of the preparers wore masks or gloves or even bothered to wash their hands. I asked three times for pickles and Peppers with my meal , which they seemed bothered by the question , only to forget both with my order. I go back because I really wanted my condiments and they proceeded to catch attitudes and become slightly argumentative. If I bothered to by food here and attempt to support black business , and even came back because of something that THEY forgot, why be rude? They really make it hard we have to hold these establishments accountable. Zero professionalism 2/10 customer service. I took it because I was hungry but best believe I will not be going back.

I enjoyed my visit to 2 neighbors. We got the wings and catfish. Both were good picks but nothing to rave about. The food is cooked to order so you should expect to wait it took about 25 minutes. It was piping hot when we got it. I m not a fan of Kool-aid but they re red kool-aid paired great with the chicken! Mac and cheese was good also. Will definitely give them another try because I ve heard great things about the sandwich.

I dont want to give a black owned business a negative star review. However, it deserves 1 star. Maybe they just had a bad day. But it wasnt good. The chicken wings were decent. However, the tenders and the sandwich were not good at all both were tough not tender what so ever. The best thing about the sandwich was the bread. Skin fell off most of the sandwich. Nothing special with the fries. Taste like frozen bag fries with salt and some other season. Hot chicken hard to come by. So try the chicken wings if you have a craving. But I wouldnt waste my money on anything else.

Great food but waited in line for 36min and the ended up saying no more wings so I was disappointed but I was ok because I was going to get two order of chicken and waffles but once I get up there the sign says chicken and waffles only on Saturday well today is Saturday and the inform me that there not making waffles today. So I order a chicken sandwich but the had no cheese or lettuce to put on it so it was just chicken and bread. Disappointed. for that long of a line the least you can do is have toppings or chicken and waffles.

Ive tried to order food from here twice. First time, the wait was 1 hour and 30 mins. WAAAYYY too long for some fried chicken. Second time, theyre SOLD OUT 2 hours before closing time. And to top it off, they dont answer the phone number posted all over their FB page so you cant check to see if their restaurant have any food before you leave the house you just have to waste your time. So the food may be good, I wouldnt know. But the restaurant definitely isnt convenient AT ALL.
