The best burger I ve ever had I got the bacon stacker burger, omggg!!! It was so good. The only downside was the fries. They are called seasoned fries , but were way too soft and lacked the flavor from the seasoning. But the vibe is great, good music. I m just really impressed with that burger. It was so juicy, and had that grill taste, wheeeww I tore it up lol! Thanks yall!

This has been my go to bbq place since 2021 and I wouldnt go anywhere else! Food has been consistently top tier since Ive been coming to this food truck, they have a wide variety so there is always something for someone and they make you feel like family with the atmosphere and how they talk to you. The only downside to this location is the heat but the FOOD is worth the WAIT! I don t know if it s just me but they seem to elevate watch time I come here! This my 3rd time! Ribs, brisket, wings ! I chose to order because they had every side dish we wanted, and most places you can only get a small selection! While I do agree that some stuff seemed to be canned (baked beans and maybe green beans) they added their own flavors and touches that made everything delicious! The cabbage was different, but we loved it! The ribs were fall apart perfect, and we had a little brisket on the side also. We will go back again for sure it was well worth it!

I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich, macaroni, and greens .. everything was trash and I mean literally everything. Nothing had any flavor whatsoever. The greens amd the brisket were both dry. The only thing that i tasted was vinegar on the greens and bbq sauce on the brisket. The macaroni tasted spoiled.

Their food and customer service is 10/10! My son and I shared the brisket plate with dirty rice and Mac and cheese and it was beyond good! So good that we came back again the very next day, hoping they still had food left. My son is 2 and it was over 95 degrees and it was too hot to stand outside to wait until the food was ready and so we waited in the Desoto Marketplace and the sweet lady walked over and brought the food to us and I greatly appreciated that!

I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally decided to give them a shot. Yet another time that I haven t been disappointed with my decision! Everything you see in the pic was delicious! The only suggestion I have is to put the bread separately from the rest of the meal as it was quite soggy. Ordered chopped beef sandwiches thru DoorDash and requested the bbq sauce on the side so it would be soggy, but unfortunately I didn t get any, so was forced to eat a salty, dry bbq sandwich. The brisket had a good smoke flavor to it. Would order again only if I pick up myself.

I purchased a brisket top cheeseburger. It was the worst sandwich I ve ever received in my life. The bun was hard. The meat was burnt and no flavor. First off I dont live in this area I was visiting my parents. My parents where getting seafood next to them but dont seafood. So I choose to get BBQ. When I ordered for some reason my card kept getting declined. I told him I was sorry and went to check my bank account to see what the problem was. My account was froze due to a fraud issue from the night before in a area close by. The owner walk out to speak with me. Asked me if everything was OK. I said yes just a issue with my bank. Maybe next time Im in the neighborhood Ill try out the food. By the time my parents got there food the owner of BBQ spot brought what I ordered and said God bless you. It was greatly appreciated. I got a chopped beef sandwich and red beans and rice. When we got home and ate. It was absolutely delicious. Meat was tender and well seasoned. BBQ sauce was perfect and red beans n rice where well seasoned and spicy. God bless you as well and thank for the blessing!!

TD;LR: Beyond disappointed by the bland food at this food truck. Will not be back. Smokin A s Good Eats is a bbq food truck located in front of the DeSoto Marketplace, right next to a seafood food truck. I ve been determined to try all of the vendors in that area and today was Smokin A s time to shine. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Food: I ordered a Stuffed Turkey leg (which was dry and lacked significant flavor) with the Jamaican cabbage (I really just didn t enjoy it and it has mushrooms so random), macaroni (not good, it wasn t creamy and a little bland), red beans and rice (my rice was not cooked all the way through, it was bland, and rice has red meat even though I said I didn t want red meat ). Also, my food wasn t really warm. It was a lot of food, but felt like a waste of money at $23 and bland food. I couldn t even finish the plate. I should ve taken it all back but I don t like to be difficult and I was in a hurry since I was in between clients at work. And no pics for the same reason. If you follow me you know I normally have them. Service: The service was fine, everyone was kind. Atmosphere: It was cool. It s a simple food truck. I definitely will not be back. My grandson love this place. He took me here back in February or March 2023. I love smoked turkey legs and wanted one. The owner suggested that I try the stuffed turkey leg, with rice and the Jamaican fried cabbage so I did. I did not like the stuffed turkey leg. I did eat some of the cabbage and rice if I can recall. I gave it to my granddaughters. My granddaughters loved it and ate it. So it worked for them. I may consider trying something else at another time. The owner is kind. Parking: The parking is great. I visited some of the shops inside the strip mall. I love supporting my people. I bought sea moss, phone accessories, etc. Wheelchair accessibility: This is a spacious area to maneuver around in.

I mostly order the tater with brisket. Its really good. Sometimes its too much sauce but theyll put it on the side for you. Ive tried the chopped chicken. There need to be a zero star rating. This is the most disgusting bbq I ve ever had. Order 2 of the two meat loaded baked potatoes brisket and sausage. There was no brisket on the potatoes and just burnt up pieces of link slices and the potatoes were drowned in sauce! $20 per potato for just some barbecue sauce soup smh . I don t understand how they have a 4.3 rating when I ordered 2 baked potatoes and the turkey plate with rice, mac and cheese, and Jamaican cabbage. To start the baked potatoes we re not cooked all the way. The sour cream and cheese normally melts on the baked potato due to the potato and meat being hot. Even with putting the potato in the microwave it still did not melt . I waited about 20 mins for the food to not even be hot. The Mac and cheese tasted as if it was cooked on the grill, not tasty at all. They are not 4.3 worthy. If I could have posted 0 I would have.

The reviews are misleading. I ordered a rib plate with fish and a pulled pork sandwich with banana pudding. The sandwich was so salty and soggy I disposed of it via the earth I was told for the replacement of ribs I would get a nice portion of pulled pork well that did not occur. Then the fish was cooked well over the point of done in which I did not ask for char-fried fish. I will not be returning I almost feel like I was played because there is no way they did not know they were out of ribs. Lastly the sides baked beans and green tasted like nothing meaning canned beans and unseasoned greens which is shocking since the pork was over seasoned.

This is the best BBQ that I have ever tasted. The hamburger sandwiches, the baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese are my favorite! Rude! I walked up to the window to order. Once the young lady opened the window she called out someones order number then looks at me and nods her head so I look at her and ask are you ready for me to order. Now at this point you would think she would say yes, what can I get you, can I take your order or something. Nope, she nods again. I look at her and politely walk away. You are going to lose a lot of service due to customer service. Im giving this mobile caterer 2 stars. I ordered a chpoped brisket sandwich with fries and mimis mac. To start off the fries. They were good didnt bother me they put a small portion size inside. I had asked for mimis mac and instead they gave me bbq beans. The bbq beans were heavily over sweetened bbq im assuming theyre out of a container or can. Now the brisket. I bit this sandwich only to he greeted by the heaviest saltiness. I immediately spit it out. The amount of salt on this brisket made it un eat able. We drove over 30mins to try this place out and they didnt disappoint at all. The gentleman that took our order was very helpful as we always try the 2-meat plate. The brisket and smoked sausage with MiMis mac and green beans is what I got. The brisket was moist and had very good flavor! The sausage was smoked to perfection!! Finally tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was the best BBQ Ive tasted since moving down to Texas and Ive been here 2 years. They were super friendly. The wait was a bit long, but the food was fresh and delicious, so I will definitely be back.

I wanted so much to give them higher but I just cant. They were friendly but the food wasnt it. I ordered a chop brisket plate with dirty rice and greens. It came to a total of $12.99. The portions were a tad bit small compared to what you would normally get some where else. The dirty rice was a mush mixture and had no flavor at all. It was overly spicy. The texture was not like any dirty rice Ive eaten. It was part mushy and part grainy.The greens were just as bad. As for the chopped brisket, it was drenched in bbq sauce. I wasnt asked if I preferred it on the side which is my preference bc I like to taste the actual flavor of the meat. When places drench their meat with bbq sauce it almost always is to compensate for lack of flavor. Maybe I chose the wrong menu items idk but this wasnt a great experience. It was a waste of money as I had to find smthg else for dinner. The picture with the brisket is the actual portion, none was eaten. I just moved the bread that was on the other side of it.

Great food and people! The brisket mac and cheese is a must try! Food was hot, fresh and cooked with perfection. The meat was well seasoned and so tender, it really didnt need any sauce. Reasonable prices and nice variety of items. Definitely will go back!!

We ve been searching for a good bbq place since we moved to Texas a few years ago. Tried a lot of places and haven t found one that really stood out. This is BY FAR the best bbq we ve had. My family and I have finally found our new bbq spot! The brisket Mac n cheese was everything! 10/10 recommend.
