Excellent customer service, the art inside makes the space feel more cozy and community-oriented. I had the privilege of being tatted by Heath, who displayed great professionalism and did a great job on the tattoo. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody looking to find a friendly, welcoming tattoo place in Denton. I also appreciate their community events they do throughout the year.

I went for an anime flash sale that Kristen ran for her birthday and got a cute Demon Slayer tattoo! It was my first tattoo ever and she did a good job of making sure I was comfortable and knew what to expect. The overall vibe of the shop was really cozy too <3

One of the best tattoo shops in Denton. I have tattoos from both Xana and Kristen and absolutely adore them. The space is incredibly cool and welcoming and I can t think of a place I like to go to kore to get poked by tiny needles. They host awesome events and overall have a groovy vibe. 10/10 go here for your next tattoo

I got a tattoo from xana, the owner, and I had the absolute best experience! I have also been to several of the Artists Grove s Events, and they are such a phenomenal vibe! Their partnerships with their neighbors Bearded Monk, The Dime Store, and Denton County Brewing Company gifts such a beautiful feeling community. Great job creating a safe space for so many! Keep it up! (Update 5/22): I got the most adorable tattoo of my Dachshund from Kristen. Thank you so much for designing such an important fine-line tattoo for me. Molly Dog Approves!

I ve gotten lots of Chai s flash tattoos and absolutely love them! The pieces are so creative, fun and I ve been able to snag some good deals. I was nervous coming here on my first appointment but Chai and Xana have been so welcoming and kind, really helps ease my anxiety every time I come back.

I had an amazing experience here! I had my first large tattoo designed and applied by Chai (who is a master at her craft). I must say it was a super clean, friendly, and a community driven space. The work was superb and I left happy. Likewise, as a local artist I really appreciated that they hosted a figure drawing night and I got to collaborate with their community of artists as I generated some meaningful connections. I highly recommend them and would return!

I absolutely love this tattoo shop, and the people that work here! It is such a beautiful space that I know the staff worked so hard to create! Its definitely such a chill, peaceful, loving environment filled with whimsical energy all around. If I was a millionaire Id live at this place getting tattoos everyday for sure! Chai and Xana are such incredible humans! Its a 10 out of 10 for me! I love a warm, safe, inclusive tattoo environment! Chai is one of the best tattoo artists I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They are kind, respectful, and really want you to be involved with the artistic process- after all that s what a tattoo is, art. They make sure you are happy with the design and placement and make sure that it compliments the flow of the body. Chai truly has set the bar for me in professionalism and experience while getting a tattoo. I have sat through multiple sessions and they are always relaxed, fun, and you always leave feeling better. Chai is philosophical, witty, and I recommended them 100% of the time to anyone looking for a tat in one of their styles. Wish I could give more stars!

Chai did my first tattoo back in March 2022. She took great care in making sure the design, style, and colors were what I wanted - which meant a lot since this was a memorial piece. She took time to address any questions I had and ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole tattooing process, from placement and break times to pain tolerance. Everyone at the shop was friendly as well, which was a huge plus. Since getting that tattoo, we have added two more pieces to my arm, and all have healed well and received so many compliments! Im eagerly awaiting my appointment this year and to see the Artists Grove in person. Chai has given me my favorite tattoo experiences! The fact that she prioritizes community, growth, artistry, and education both in her work and through opening The Artists Grove is so awesome and meaningful. Chai is a phenomenal artist! Give them creative control and you won t be disappointed. I came to Chai with just the skull and embryo as reference and requested they create a full cohesive sleeve for me. Chai is a kind, good-hearted individual with a beautiful soul. An important attribute when deciding who s art you ll carry for a lifetime. I personally have not visited their new location, but I a sure you Chai will see to it that it will be comfortable and accommodating. I can t speak more highly of the quality work that Chai does with her tattoos. She has done a complete sleeve for me and I will certainly be coming back to see her for my next tattoo.
