I was having a poke bowl itch and this scratched it PERFECTLY. Call me dramatic but this was the best poke bowl Ive ever had (Ive only had two others before but still). Poke bowls were good, sushi was GOOD, shrimp tempura was good. The young lady at the register was really nice too! Trust I will be coming BACK.

These are the Denton rolls I believe. I also had there Boston rolls 3/10. I m not one to waste food but I couldn t keep eating this. I realized they put the sauce over the avocado, once I saw the avocado u can tell it s clearly old. I just got off a 3 days fast and was excited to eat something good. I regret it. There bowls have usually been ok though and I like their house fried rice. I have only ever left 1 bad review so I hate doing this but just warning others. Maybe new chief idk. Bye

Came in for a snack at 2pm and was immediately assisted at the counter. Very friendly greeting. After ordering the Las Vegas roll, I was asked if Id like a beverage. When declining, I was told where the water is located. When my roll came out about 10 minutes later, it looked AMAZING. It was full of flavor too! Thank you Hauoli Poke Teppan. I cant wait to come back.

Let me tell you, if I could give Hauoli Poke Teppan more than 5 stars, I would! This has to be hands down the best Japanese food I ve ever had. I was greeted with amazing customer service, the restaurant was super clean on the inside, and got our order very quickly even though they were working on 3-4 other people s orders. From even before I took my first bite I knew that the food was high quality and it smelled wonderful. The food was delicious and their fried rice is the best I ve ever had. After having it our first time, this will definitely be a regular spot my husband and I will visit again here soon

Very chill Hawaiian atmosphere and the poke bowls have unlimited toppings you can add! There are more menu options inside the restaurant vs what you see on their online menu. First time in, and I got the hibachi chicken and steak with fried rice. EVERYTHING was delicious. They even got the temperature of my steak correct at medium Rare! On top of that they actually have Yum Yum sauce! So many places dont offer it, also the fried rice was perfect! Some places barely fry the rice. ABSOLUTELY recommended giving the place a try. I will definitely be going back! AND the staff were so nice!

The ingredients were fresh but the serving size was incredibly small. The container in itself was large but the rice and mix ins did not even fill half the bowl. I paid $20 for a few pieces of salmon, mango, cucumber etc. Again, the ingredients themselves were fresh and yummy but the serving size was so so so small. This place is wonderful!! I hope it never goes out of business!! The staff is extremely attentive and super friendly. The sushi quality is excellent, the pricing is very reasonable, and it is always immaculately clean. My favorite rolls are the Philly, the spicy salmon, and the spicy tuna. Not sure if they do this to their in house customers or just are taking advantage of food delivery since we are not present. If youre going to be cheap and skimp on portions, order smaller bowls. This is my favorite spot in all of Denton. Just absolutely stellar quality of ingredients, same two staff (assuming the owners) every time who are so friendly, atmosphere is chill, and theres always funny animal clips playing on the tv which adds such random character to the place, we love it! Honestly, I do not understand why there is not more traffic here. I had 3 of their dishes today. The Alaskan Roll, Houston Roll, and the shrimp tempura bowl. The Alaskan Roll is 8 delicious sushi rolls with salmon that practically melts in your mouth and was the first one I ate of the 3. The Houston Roll is 8 sushi rolls with shrimp tempura that is to die for. The rice melts in your mouth and you are left with a crispy shrimp tempura in your mouth. The shrimp tempura bowl is absolutely delicious with light tones of mango. The shrimp tempura is marvelous and balances out the crab and avocado. When we ordered the food was served within 5 minutes and the display on the plates was wonderful. Atmosphere is great with good music and dog videos playing on the TV. This is a great spot for great food at a reasonable price and relaxation. Give this place a try and I guarantee you will not regret it! Lets get this place bumpin!

Awesome Poke bowls! I stopped in for lunch and got the poke bowl. They have a lot of ingredients to pick but the best part was the Fried Rice option as a base. Talk about a game changer! It was amazing!!! The dining rooms is very clean and the staff is really friendly. The only thing I didnt like is the glass and microphone to order my food. Yesterday night we went in Saturday night the girl behind the counter who took me and my families order was just rude and I had to ask her three times for one thing she looked at me and rolled her eyes and finally did it , she gave off really negative bad energy and it made me feel uncomfortable to ask for anything I really hope he finds someone more friendly to take orders at the window she was very unprofessional and seemed she hated her job. This place is always clean! They have everything set up to make sure the cashier and the customers make no hand contact. I give it 4 stars because it is a bit over priced. First off, this place is very clean and just astheticly pleasing. The bathrooms are really clean. The sushi was very good, fresh ingredients, cold fish, warm rice, how it should be. The veggies on the hibachi are amazingly fresh, the chicken has never been dry, it is very juicy and flavorful, Ive never had a single bad piece of anything so far (3 times). You choose your base (white rice, sushi rice, fried rice, etc), your protein ( salmon, tuna, shrimp, etc, etc...), your toppings (lettuce, cucumbers, crab salad, seaweed salad, mango, etc, etc), your crunchies, and your sauces. Oh, you can get 2 proteins for only $3.00 extra.....Such a deal !! LOL . They also have Sushi, Tempura, and other great munu items. Eat there or take it to go, either way you wont be disappointed. Absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend this establishment.

The food is really good, and the price you pay is worth 4 stars, but I would advise any future customers to dine-in or order from an app. I used to wait 5 maybe 10 minutes tops for two to three items. But its been 3 times now where Ive waited 15-25 minutes for the same items. Essentially, because I order to-go, Im put at the bottom of the list when it comes to making the food. You can see them make and bag up the orders, and theyll be able to make two to three bags worth of orders even if I came in before someone ordered online. Its a drag to come in and have to put any plans on hold because of the resturants ordering system.

Ive been searching for good poke places, but this place just swept me off my feet. Fresh and tasty ingredients including seafood options such as crab meat, eel, and salmon generate these delicious bowls. The restaurant offers a variety of food options not only limited to poke but also hibachi and sushi! This place is the ultimate all-in-one for a low price while maintaining high quantity and quality. It is already quickly set up in a way to ensure the health and safety for the customers from Covid-19, so I am very comfortable eating either dine-in or takeout. Ahi Poke bowl was disgusting. A tub of hot rice with thick cut jalapenos and a dollop of tuna. Ate the tuna before the hot rice started cooking it. Also ordered to go. Ordered two rolls, they crammed them into one box. Aint nothing crunchy on the crunchy roll, and the spicy tuna roll sucked. I knew I should have known better ordering from this place.

The fried denton roll was gross, it had a burnt taste to it like the grease hadnt been changed, as for the Cali & Philly roll they werent anything short of tasting like grocery store rolls. And being served on paper plates was a nice touch....will not go back. The staff was nice tho.

Called 3 times on a Saturday to place a Pick up order but no answer, figured they where busy. Walked in 15 min after my calls and the place was empty! Not 1 customer, I asked the girl is you phone not working, I called for a pick up order ... she picked up the phone looked at it and said nothing! Probably the best fried rice in town. Everything was made fresh to order and tasted great. The space is small but does not feel cramped. Sit down quality with a faster less formal atmosphere. The quality was great. Everything on the sushi bar looked fresh. Hands down better than the other sit down hibachi places in town and definetly better than the other poke places on the north end of town.
