I m so disappointed with our dinner tonight at Red Lobster. To start off with they didn t have ANY lobster, no cheesecake, no crab Alfredo (discontinued) , no certain common drinks, the waitress seemed to not know the menu to well. My husband got so upset we almost just left but he just settled on a salad. I had the shrimp Alfredo with a side of crab legs. The shrimp were flavorless and rubbery. The crab was ok still kinda flavorless. We should have known something was up when we noticed they were only a couple of cars in the parking lot when just next door, Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse were packed. It really does break my heart to write this because I grew up with Red Lobster and always loved to eat at any Red Lobster. Something has definitely changed with them, and sadly not for the better. And for the cherry on top, they have raised the prices on everything. On a positive, the restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean, except for the empty lobster tank. This was on a Sunday evening. I believe all these issues land on the management. I have lots of food and restaurant experience and can t make sense of why you would be out of so many things. It s a great location!

I don t ever turn down shrimp but in this case, it tasted like imitation shrimp. You ve changed your food and quality. Red Lobster has been a family event since you opened in North Richland Hills over 50 years ago. I took my daughter for her birthday celebration and we couldn t eat anything. The waiter asked if we wanted to go boxes and we said no, the food is inedible. He then brought our check and didn t even ask if we wanted to speak to the manager or ask if he could bring us something else.

Well went to this location in denton tx. This visit was not a good trip. I had asked for a waiter we had little over a month ago and he is no longer there. They gave us another waiter and his name was David and I think he was overwhelmed with 6 adults and no kids and couldnt keep up. Girlfriend asked for her salad dressing on the side and he or the kitchen messed up and drowned the salad with dressing. Asked for baked potatoe with everything on the side and they messed that up. I ordered fish and chips. My baked potato was as small as the middle of your palm Girlfriend steak was even smaller. What a joke this place was today or actually the waiter was a joke want ever have that waiter again period

This recent meal was one of the best Ive had here. Normally Id rate their food a 3+, but todays was exceptional. We split the Ultimate Feast, chose two lobster tails and two shrimp meals, with a baked potato and coleslaw - for $40! A really great value.

I love Red Lobster, but this location isnt the best... I waited about 15 minutes before a host came up to greet, and then it took another 10 minutes before me and my friend were seated because every table was dirty and the hostess and busser were just giggling and walking around. Our server was great, and the food was good, but the atmosphere and service was really bad..

Our waiters name was Jon. He was great! He was attentive yet not disruptive of our date. Very courteous. Hed walk up and make sure we werent talking or eating before asking a question. ( Most places wait until you have food in your mouth to ask a question lol) Anyways, the food was incredible! Crab legs and mushrooms were the best!

Arrived at the restaurant at 8:25pm and waited around to get seated even though there was no one there and no host at the host stand. After finally being seated we waited for our server to come take our order which we already knew what we wanted (Monday endless shrimp special). She comes to take our order and we inform her that we already know what we want and proceed to tell her our endless shrimp order she then proceeds to tell us she doesn t recommend doing that because they ve already done last call at 8:45pm and that they close in 20 minutes. Which makes no sense because if you already did last call at that time there should be 15 minutes left we proceed to take our phone out and check the time and it s 8:38pm she then says she has to check with her manager about when last call is because they close in 20 minutes. It was clear to us that they did not want our business since she repeatedly mentioned they close in 20 minutes and even though we had our order ready right when we sat down she recommends we don t get what we want since they close in 20 minutes and also lies about last call. For a business that is already struggling and us being in the door before closing it really seems like they don t want our business or care for it. We ended up just leaving after being told not to get what we came for and also lied to.

Went early to get my pick up to sit and have a beer while i waited didnt get talked to till about 6 minutes in for a guy to come out and tell me 7-10 minutes to go by for a girl to come out followed by the dude with my food so obviously no longer needed the beer wanted walk back to the hotel and eat my food fresh so now im waiting another 6-7 minutes for them to take it off the bill

Food has been great last several visits, the restaurant itself looks the same as they all did 30 years ago. Service is always below par, last visit I watched a manager stand in the way of a server holding a tray of drinks until the server moved to the side so he could pass. We continue to go due to food. Dez provided excellent service! Shrimp bowl was average. But the music coming from the kitchen ruined my experience. Listening to two different musics between kitchen and dinning room mixed with kitchen noise for an hour was exhausting. Table 41 is 3 booths from Kitchen entrance. Request a table far from the kitchen entrance to ensure a peaceful meal.

Went there to the Denton Tx location on Good Friday , never got to be seated. Asked bar tender to contact host waited 5 min. While waiting looked in the dining area 3 tables only occupied. Went to the denton location. Had the Admiral platter. The fried fish was over cooked and dry. Baked potato very small. The fish and chips were edible. Small portion of fries. The appetizer was brought out the same time as the meal . And we waited for nearly 20 minutes to get our drink order. It was 4 pm, there was only tops 20 customers. Waiter David was nice. But he was busy cleaning tables most of the time than tending to us the customer. Never refilled the water or asked if we wanted another beer. But main complaint the fish was dry and over cooked. I havent been to a red lobster in a long time. This was a reminder why, the place was understaffed to the extreme. Most tables were empty because they had no waiters. When we finally did get day service was very slow and even the stupid machine at the table didnt work to pay. The food was average but the service was horrible. I dont blame the waitress, I blame the company for understaffing. This was just a reminder why I dont go here. Edit: They made it right and we have been back. The service was much better!

My all you can eat shrimp dinner was good. The vinegar shrimp were the best , but my wifes $50 dinner sucked . The lobster was way overcooked and was rubbery when trying to eat it . The cook sucked today. She had 2 lobster tails cooked 2 different ways and were unbeatable. BUT the manager Jared was super understanding and were nice and made want to give this place maybe another chance later . My sons Mac & Cheese with bacon was good . Our waitress tho was not good . Do you pay for what you get? Sorry, No. I know seafood is expensive. But, the quantity and quality of the dishes are nowhere near great. The shrimps are small, which means the bites lack little flavor. The dish I pay $20 for at Red Lobster could be done at home for $5. The service was also lacking on this visit. The waitress didnt inform us of the pricing differences in substituting. This cost us plus $20. We do appreciate the manager adjusting our bill. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet venue.

So my husband and I went to a Red Lobster last night with our grandkids. When we got seated to our table we waited for 20 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. She finally came and got our drink orders and then it was another 10 minutes before we got our drinks while she was taking 2 other tables order for there food. Finally we get or drinks and she proceeds to go help another waitress with her table without getting our order. Finally she comes and takes or order. So when we get our appetizer and bread she didnt bring us any plates for the appetizer and I had to eat it out of a bowl. Finally the food comes and we eat and not once did she come check on us till we were done with our meal and even then it takes her another 20 minutes to bring us boxes and the check. So needless to say we had a terrible waitress named Denise and I dont know if I will ever be back.

Sitting down to dinner at 5:30. Its early and not busy. We say we need 4 and a highchair, host tries to sit us at the bar. The booth we were given was tight and uncomfortable. It wasnt until we tried to place our order that we were told the restaurant is out of crab legs, sirloin, and popcorn shrimp. Service was slow. Our drinks went empty and we had to ask for refills, which were spilled as they were placed on the table. Hot plate put in front of my 2 year old. No one checked on us after our food was delivered. Food, as always, was Great!!! The server, which I will not share his name, was pleasant to a point and professional but didnt do his job well as we believed he could have done!!!!! We brought our father, who was celebrating his 91st birthday. My wife talked to the staff and waiter before we actually sat down at our table for dinner. She advised about his birthday, and it was understood that they would recognize him and sing the Happy Birthday song. Well..... after dinner was completed..... the server came up to the table and said he had learned that someone in our party was celebrating a birthday. Then he sat the complimentary ice cream down onto the table and left. Just minutes before he did that, a table in the same section had somebody celebrating their birthday and a group of employees sang Happy Birthday to them. On top of this, our father just so happened to be wearing his Veteran baseball cap showing he was a Veteran of the following wars......World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War. Needless to say..... he was somewhat disappointed. I hope that this doesnt ever happen to another senior citizen... which so happens to be a US Military War hero!!!! For shame Red Lobster. All this responsibility falls onto the server and the manager-which was not on site during that shift!!!!

We ordered our Christmas Day dinner to go 45 min early than we wanted knowing their might extra busy or short handed. Then we waited an hour in the to go parking for our food. When we got home we were missing 1/2 of my meal and the toppings for one of our potatoes. I don t usually do this but I tried to call the restaurant and no one answered. **Update from 12/2023 visit** We visited again, today for lunch. Red Lobster is sad. The new lunch menu is pitiful. In the past, the Garlic Shrimp Scampi came with rice and a side. Now, it comes with a side. So, if you order a salad, which will cost an additional $1.99, you only get a small bowl of shrimp (7 came in one and 6 in another). And its $13.99. A Caesar salad with 3oz of poor grade salmon was $15.99. Want a single slice of previously frozen dessert thats only half thawed? Thatll run you $9.99. And word to the wise, order your dressing on the side. Otherwise, what youll receive is a soggy, inedible mess. If the food or the service was phenomenal, the prices would absolutely be justified. But given the present level of both the food and service, its insulting. Red Lobster of today, is a depressing shell of what it once was. ************************ Visited for lunch. The hostess was extremely welcoming and kind. Our waitress was polite but a bit distracted or ill prepared for her shift. Ordered the 3 for $15.99. One lunch had what was supposed to be the Jumbo Cocktail Shrimp (4). It arrived one shrimp short, no cocktail sauce and when pointed out the the waitress, she brought cocktail sauce and that was it. The missing shrimp was never seen. After salads and appetizers, we asked about biscuits and were told that they werent ready...even though other tables had them and when ours finally arrived, they were barely warm. Two in our party ordered the Fish and Chips. The fish was good quality cod, but there were puddles of grease on it. No coleslaw...it wasnt ready either. It was brought out when we were almost done with our food and it was room temperature. Perhaps it was just an off day.

Wonderful experience overall. We got sat pretty quickly and not long after had drinks and food ordered. Food was amazing and the $20 lobster + shrimp may be the way to go. The service was responsive and while the food did take a minute it wasn t anything unreasonable. The outside of the restaurant was clean and had a nice feel. Waiters arent quite going above and beyond, but they certainly get the job done. The food is good, but if youre in the area, I would go to Texas Roadhouse right down the road. Nevertheless, this is still a great restaurant and experience. Parking: There is not a huge amount of parking right by the restaurant, but within a 1 minute walk is a large parking lot that serves the whole general area. Kid-friendliness: It isnt a crazy expensive place, and kids are certainly welcome.

I couldn t remember why it had been years since I d been to a Red Lobster. After my meal I quickly remembered. My fish was so microwaved it was hard. I couldn t cut it with a knife. Everything was way over salted. The server was obviously too busy with other things to wait on our table because she kind of disappeared. The bathroom was filthy with no soap or toilet paper which other people complained about as well. Way over priced meal for the low quality food and service. Honestly I m not sure how they re still in business. It makes me sad for them.

Tuesday. Maybe I came on a bad day. It was my first time. The food wasn t served hot. The lobster topping with cheese was so salty. The service was not good. I came in looking a mess, just myself and my 13 year old son, and I felt as if possibly it might have been assumed that I wouldn t tip well so we weren t given a lot of attention, that is just a thought. The server was kind but it wasn t busy at all, not in the least. I got up to request service a couple of times. I just wasn t happy with it but still tipped 20%

I came in at 1215 in the afternoon and it is lunch. 6 tables in the restaurant and 2 in the bar. Nobody in front and seriously was told there is a wait. Maybe a new manager should be brought in or at least schedule more people. Unbelievable the miss management. Recommend going to some place that can manage the restaurant better.

We threw away Lobster dip, soup was cold and had that replaced, my scallops and shrimp were not cooked properly. I was worried they were not fully cooked! Basically a terrible meal and 75 dollars wasted! The server was great, thats it!

Ordered an entire frozen cheesecake an hour before arriving at the store and still had to sit inside at the bar while being ignored for 30 minutes before someone walked over to the fridge and pulled it out for me after complaining to the management about sitting so long to get a frozen dessert that takes absolutely no prep. They could have cared less to help me and it showed. Very very poor service and attitudes from everyone envolved

Recently, I went here for my grandmothers birthday. Table of 9. It wasnt too busy at all, so we were seated quickly. I wasnt too impressed, though. Waitress wasnt very attentive after our order was taken. Food was sub-par as well. Whoever was cooking the steaks that evening definitely needs more training. Some werent cooked long enough , and others were cooked too long. That brings me to my question. Arent servers supposed to have you cut into your steak to ensure its to your liking? Fried shrimp was decent, bu it couldve definitely been cooked a bit longer. On a good note though...the famous cheesy garlic biscuits were great as always.

What a shame. They didnt tell us that the A=C was out. When I said something, the first person said theyve been having problems on and off. When they brought out the food, I asked if it was working¿ Then they told me it had been out for a week and the ac company was coming the next day. I had them box up my food. I had the admiral platter. The calamari was over fried and dark as if it had sat in the oil for a while. The fish was hard. I really felt like leaving the food and not paying for it. They should have said something, and after I tried it, I should have told them Im leaving it and not paying. The bisquits were great. When youre looking forward to having a nice dinner, this is not what a restaurant should do to keep their business.

Update below We got there at 4 pm, and we were seated quickly. The waitress took our drink order and brought them quickly, and then it all went downhill from there. We ordered an appetizer, and it arrived 35 minutes later. We finished that and waited another 20 minutes for our waitress to stop by, and she apologized for the long wait. 8 minutes later, she came by and told us there was a mixup in the kitchen and that our food would be out soon. 10 minutes later, our food arrived. From that point on, it was 10 to 15 minutes before the waitress would stop by. If you needed refills or more sauces, it was a very long wait to get it. By the time we got our check and paid it was 6:00pm. Come on, Red Lobster, you can do better. UPDATE: After the corporate office reached out to me, we decided to visit again. This place did everything perfect. The food wasnt overcooked, the service was excellent, (Alexis you were the best). The attention to detail was amazing. It appears some hard work and retraining has been implemented by the management. Thank you Red Lobster for bringing back the food and service I remember.

service was meh. had to ask for everything. silverware after they brought food out, refills on drinks, and they completely forgot about our appetizer. wasnt until we mentioned it towards when we were getting the bill, that they brought it out. they did make it better with biscuits to go. also dont think the A/C was working the day we went. it was noticeably stuffy and several people were fanning themselves. food was good though.

Service was great and the food was delicious Update: 9/2023- We went back today and the food has gotten even better. They have a new menu and much better crab legs. They are bigger and the new seasonings are delicious. I was shocked when are bill came because it was so much cheaper than usual. My husband enjoyed the all you can eat shrimp for $20 and I got the crab legs for $26.99. Not bad at all. Deja was a great server and her drink and food recommendations were on point. Definitely out favorite restaurant right now! We also got a free dessert for my birthday. 10/10! Parking: Always plenty of parking.

Every time we visit this location, there is always something on the menu that is not available for one reason or another. It has become a joke among me and my friends to guess what items will not be available. I can not complain about the food items that they do have in stock. The food it always consistent. I cannot give the Service a 5 star review due to several contributing factors. There were 3 people in our party, 2 of us ordered the Ultimate Endless Shrimp, this time they did not have the Limited-time only products, such as Shrimp Rangoon, and we were told that it has been discontinued. This was our servers 1st or 2nd day to serve without a trainer shadowing her. The server could not physically bring out everyones entrees at once, but said that it was plated and sitting on the counter. She delivered it about 4 minutes later. She should have had someone in the kitchen help her run the orders out to the table. This location closes at 9pm. The server delivered another order of the endless shrimp at 8:35 ish and then disappeared without asking if we needed anything else. She returned at 8:42 to check on us, which was great, but when we tried to order any additional shrimp items, we were told that the kitchen was already closed. Then, she left and returned at about 8:50 and asked if we needed anything else, we asked for more tea, but were told that the tea had already been poured out for the night. At 8:35 when she dropped off the last order of shrimp, why didnt she ask if we needing anything more and also warn us that the kitchen would be closing at 8:40, not 9 when the store closes? I hope this can be a training opportunity by the management once reading this to remind the newer servers that the store closes at 8:40 not 9.

Total time 55 minutes to place a to go order for 1 meal and wait for it to be prepared. An employee walked in behind me and told me he would be right back to take my order, then never came back. Now they were not busy & only had a few customers at 1pm. I sat in the loby area the whole time I was there. I sat and waited for 5 minutes before I had to ask if someone could take my to go order. Another customer that had been sitting at the bar area was waiting for a bag to put the rest of his meal in for over 5 minutes at that point I flagged down an employee and asked her to please get him a to go bag he had been standing there waiting for 5 minutes for someone to just bring him a bag he did thank me for that. My meal was $50. I was so disappointed I would never eat there again. I couldnt chew the lobster tail it was rubbery, the shrimp on skewers was tough and rubbery the grilled salmon smelled and tasted like they pulled it out of the water and slapped it on a plate totally disgusting. The only things I actually ate were fried shrimp, side dishes, and biscuits.

We had lunch today and were very pleased with our experience. The service was prompt. My mom eats small portions so they offered the kids menu which was perfect. The biscuits were great, as usual. We went here on a Saturday night 07/29/2023. Made it at 8pm was seated and waited 20 min for drinks got appetizers around 9pm and didn t get food until 10 min til closing time. We ordered our food about 15 min after we were seated! On top of that, we ordered endless shrimp, but since it took them until9:50 to bring our food we were barely able to get the first round, ANDDD on top of that the seafood was dry rubbery and old!!! My whole family was sick the next day except me because I was so mad that I lost my appetite. This was the worst Red Lobster experience I ve ever had!!! This location is dramatically understaffed. I hadnt been to a Red Lobster in years and itll likely be years till I go back, if ever. While friendly, the service here is incredibly slow due to only two people being in the kitchen! Every other part of the meal especially the time from order to receiving food was 90 minutes which tells me it s a kitchen issue. When finally got our food, it was cold and ridiculously both over cooked and under seasoned. The manager seemed pretty incompetent when we voiced our concerns. We got there at 8:15 and they closed at 9. We felt bad for getting there so late. They was like it no problem, and told us there would be a 15-minute wait. There were 6 of us, and we spent $173 without tip. We tiped cash. The Fiod was fresh, all of it. I got the fish and chips. They fish was so crispy and delicious. My wife got the all you can eat shrimp, lids got lobster and shrimp and popcorn shrimp, and my dad got the maple glazed grill chicken. The bacon Mac n cheese was bomb AF. I believe our waiter ls name was Dizzy. The dude was amazing. We drove from Keller to eat here with my dad, and it didnt disappoint. The Bahama Momma hit the spot too. I highly recommend!

Let me start by saying our server Alexa was easily the best server we ve ever had. I m a bartender and have served for many many years, she did her best. Management? A JOKE. We ordered our entree, and after 30 minutes of waiting our food was brought to us and we were then told they were out of what my husband ordered.. lol.. when all the food came. I had to request a manager come speak to me (why he didn t immediately come apologize I have no clue, we would have easily been ok with it because we know things happen) then he proceeded to blame the server. If you ask me, that s even worse than the actual situation. if we ever come back to this place it will be due to the servers, they were all literally top tier. Another icon that looks like its going to boot hill soon. Same high prices- a lot less food for them. This place used to have some class- cloth napkins, salads with meals included, place mats. Now its small portions, salads are sides that must be ordered, and not much more. We wanted to go out on a Friday night to eat around 6:30 and found almost every restaurant was packed. Not this place- looked like a ghost town.
