Been seeing this place for a while by my house, honestly never expected such class in such obtuse area. It was slower when I came in but picked rapidly. The food, to was phenomenal, would be an understatement, the flavors through back to an Italian wonderland. I was with a girl, I have no idea how attractive she was, but the food made her a 10/10. The desert could ve been some what better. Overall a must see Denton restaurant ; something that should ve been in the square.

First time visiting this great place! Family owned restaurant. We had chicken Marsala- lasagna- & the trio plate . Along with the nest garlic rolls you ever had in your life! The waitress was very friendly & attentive. The food was great! My only suggestion is the entrance to the place needs attention. But then again, not eating outside. Highly recommend this place! Oh- great prices!

This review is just for the pizza, not for the dine-in experience, the pizza was very good, they got the crust right, not chewy, not hard crusty! Right amount of sauce, cheese and baked to crisp! Definitely recommend it. It s little pricey as every thing else out there now is. They claim to be best affordable , could be relatively to other places Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible with the ramp

A very good place to eat, I ve been a customer for years. The food is always excellent, the wait is never long, and the prices are affordable. I ve mostly had take out here - the few times I ate in the restaurant it always seemed empty and a bit slow so can t really speak for the atmosphere - but the food has always been great and whenever I ve done takeout it s ready on time and piping hot and delicious.

We ordered home made bread, Mostaccioli Siciliana, chicken tender and fries for my kids, and one more dish (name i cant remember). All the food was flavorfull and tasted excellent. Definitely more flavorfull then all the chain Italian restaurants. Also tried the canoli which was yummy. Would definitely go back.

I really loved my experience at this restaurant. It seems to be family-owned and the family does to appear to be from Italy. The ambience is fantastic with low lighting, traditional italian decorations, a beautifully refurbished bar area, real wooden tree trunks as decor. The seating was comfortable for plus size babes. The food prices are amazing. I got the Chicken Parmigiano--absolutely divine. They are a bit understaffed, but the staff was super nice and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

This restaurant is a little gem in Denton. The food and service is very good. The lasagna is pretty good, mild sauce and just the right amount of cheeses. The bread they give you is so yummy, flaky on the outside and soft/ warm on the inside. Its a great place for vegans as well, they have options! The eggplant dishes were delicious. We can tell this is a family oriented restaurant, the staff is very nice and hard working with love. Ill definitely recommend it to my colleagues and friends! Cozy place add a little Sinatra and its perfect

Food was bland. Salad was just iceberg kind of cut up with like 3 shredded of carrot and cabbage. The cheese sticks and rolls were nothing special the marinara was ok, normal jarred stuff. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was bland and watery, there is no way there is and parmesan Reggiano in there, the salt, pepper, garlic, cheese flavors were all non existent, there was a bunch of parsley sprinkled on though. The chicken tasted like it came out of a boiled bag, the texture was off, no color, dry, and no seasoning. Skip it.

Me and some friends headed here one final time because its close by. It used to be Baris, I believe, and the food used to be good, but no longer. This will be like the third time at least one of us have given this place a chance, and each time we are very disappointed, so this will be all for us. Basically everything we ordered felt like it had about half an order to it. They are obviously cutting corners, even the calzones/pizza/pasta you get from a supermarket in the deli (or even 7-11) weigh more than these (they are skimming on cheese and meat like no place ever). Somebody just needs to speak up about this. I mean they are friendly, but you cant rip corners like this and not have someone notice.

Feras is absolutely phenomenal! The service was very friendly and quick. The atmosphere was inviting, interesting without being overwhelming, & it was quiet so conversations were easily had. As for the food- it was home made & authentic. Everything we had was enjoyed by all. The flavors melded together & full your senses. We will ABSOLUTELY be back! Prices were very fair & portions were generous. Parking: If you have a larger vehicle, you may want to consider parking on the street in front of the building, but there is a parking lot & parking seemed plentiful. Kid-friendliness: Families with children ate here while we did. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an ADA ramp to the front door, & everything inside is on a single level with spacious room for maneuvering mobility devices. Plenty of tables & booths alike.

In the UNT area for a high school graduation. Afterwards we discussed dinner. We figured everyone else and their grandmothers were also going out for a celebratory dinner with their grads so we decided to not go to the usual places along the highway. Veras was recommended by some familiar with the restaurant. He called to see what the wait time was. None. We got there and we were almost the only ones there. Surprised. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Very Old Italy looking. Service was great. Food was amazing. Prices were surprisingly affordable. We have to remember this place the next time were in the mood for Italian food.

Dont let the exterior fool you, this place has plenty of class, great food and very good service. From the time we arrived to the time we left we never had to wait more than a few minutes for service, which was polite and helpful. My wife and I split the Feras Sampler and the White Wonder Pizza and both were very good. The people we were with both had pasta and both plates were clean when we left, lol. We ended up splitting the strawberry cheesecake and a cannoli, both deserts were demolished as well. We dont come to Denton often but well definitely come back when we do. Parking: Its not marked well, but you should turn in on the left side of the restaurant. Theres parking all the way down the side and in the back. Not a ton of spaces, but plenty available when we were there.

I ve been wanting to try this place since it s so close to campus, but I was pretty disappointed by the food. I think there was only 2 people working in the whole place so I understand that service might not be great, but the food had no flavor or love put into it. The fried cheese was 100% from a grocery store and is worse than Sonic s. The garlic rolls didn t have any taste of garlic bc it was burnt off, which was a shame. The marinara sauce tasted like it was straight from a jar. Nothing here that would bring me back, especially the prices considering the quality of the food you get.

We came in last night for dinner - nobody greeted us when we walked in so we stood there awkwardly waiting for a little while. I think there was just one person working front of house. She eventually saw us from the bar and came out to seat us. Cute decor, way too warm inside. Coffee was good and strong. My boyfriend got the Philly cheese steak which was mostly bread. I got the Fera s pasta sampler. The ziti was way over cooked and the sauce was watery, kinda like a microwave dinner plate. The lasagna and manicotti were ok at best. Service was slow. We stood up to pay our check because we were antsy from waiting for it. Our server was really really nice. We won t be back. Parking: 20 spots

BUG IN MY FOOD! Ordered a Caesar salad and pizza. Was so excited to try this place as we tried to come yesterday but it was closed for a private party. So thankful we went elsewhere. Today my salad came with a bug on top. I sent it back and refused a replacement. The owner came back and told me it wasnt dead but flew off when he turned it over . OMG do they charge extra to kill the bugs before putting them in the food? There were flies buzzing everywhere that I hadn t noticed before my salad. He asked if I still wanted my pizza and asked him to put it in a box to go. I was very surprised when he charged me full price for the pizza and for a glass of iced tea which I didn t drink. I couldn t bring myself to eat the pizza and trashed it. How sad. So much for customer service.

I have no idea how this place has 4.4 stars. The service was horrible, we had to track down our servers for drinks (after sitting there for 20 minutes), then another 15 minutes later track them down to get appetizers, then another 15 minutes later tracked them down to try to get food. We were only 1 set of 4 tables in the whole place, so it s not like they were that busy. The food was tasteless. The spinach and artichoke dip was like soup, the garlic knots were yeast rolls with just a little bit of seasoning on top. The only plus was it was cheap. The bathroom also was so dirty it looked like a truckstop bathroom. The toilet had pee all over it, and the sink was disgusting and filled with dirt and grime. I wish I had one positive thing to say about this experience, but unfortunately I have nothing.

We were in town for a few hours and wanted to grab an early dinner before our flight. All the other Italian restaurants didnt open up until 5:30 which would have been too long to wait. Luckily we found this hidden gem. Since we were early for dinner there was only 1 other table of 4 dining. The waiter promply sat us at our table and took our drink order. We looked over the menu and decided on the chicken alfredo and liguinni carbonara. At first sight of the plate of food when it came I thought it was too much, but after finishing my meal I found the portion to be just right. My sons chicken alfredo was tasty and not drowning in alfredo sauce. My liguinni carbonara was delicious as well. Traditionally it is made without cream but it was good. I cant wait to return to this place to try other dishes on the menu. The restaurant itself is an old home that has been converted into a restaurant. The outside is in need landscaping maintenance and the building need some attention. Inside was nicely decorated and welcoming. It has a sense of eating at home.

I called the restaurant to have the re-order remade or to get a refund and the manager yelled at me that if I didn t like the food I didn t have to order from there again he said he didn t have any complaints about the food so I shouldn t either those were his exact words.(it s not like he just spent that Much money on food he couldn t eat) If I can give them a zero I would and I normally don t like complaining about food at all but I spent $84 on food my family and I can t even stomach. And I have a two year old who ordered chicken strips HOW CAN YOU MESS up chicken strips. This restaurant is the type you would see on the Gordon Ramsay show kitchen disasters serving old pasta.

Such a cute place and the food is always great! Plus they re fairly cheap, too. If you like drinking you can get beer and wine at good prices. We ve tried the chicken Parm, pizza, spaghetti and meat balls, and their garlic cheese bread. Yum!

Absolutely horrible. Came here with some friends and ordered 2 appetizers for the table and entrees each. The artichoke dip was watery and bland and came with no chips, no bruschetta, no bread. The stuffed mushrooms were okay but definitely not worth the price. My chicken florentine had watery, bland sauce; I had to add loads of parmesan and salt to give it some substance and flavor, and the chicken was clearly frozen and microwaved. As for my friends orders, the shrimp alfredo had 4 pieces of unpeeled, and again, clearly frozen shrimp. The spaghetti and sausage looked like a children s meal, made by and for children, with tomato water pooled at the bottom of the plate. The chicken fettuccine alfredo was the only mildly acceptable entree, but even then, it was extremely mediocre. Would give 0 stars if possible. Even broke college students such as myself will not be coming back to this location; extremely disappointed.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The spinach artichoke dip was so watery that it was more of a soup than anything. The chicken florentine had no flavor at all. It honestly felt like I was eating plain noodles with no sauce or seasoning at all. The shrimp alfredo was also extremely bland, and we only got 4 pieces of shrimp. 4 pieces of shrimp for 6 extra dollars. And finally, the chicken fettuccine was mediocre at best, which isnt saying much because I was tasting it in relation to the other two dishes. It was so bad I actually had to throw it up afterwards. Not worth the price at all, and Im never going back.

This place is DELICIOUS! They are affordably priced. Everything is homemade and always fresh. From the pizzas and stromboli and calzone, to the lasagna and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. They have homemade house bread and garlic rolls. The house dressing is the best we have ever had. We always get extra of it! Weve started to get something different each time we go, and it never disappoints. It is a small family run restaurant.

BLUF: Great local Italian, clean, good service, tasty food, good value. We always like to support local restaurants, even when traveling, and we were looking for Italian tonight. Feras was on a couple of best of lists in a Google search, and had good reviews here and on Yelp. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path and takes a little effort to find. It is in what looks like a large house with the first floor converted. The decor is rustic and simple. It was clean and comfortably arranged. There were 5 other groups already seated and 1 checking out when we arrived about an hour before closing. Wait staff was limited to 1 (Christmas break for UNT, we figured) who turned out to be one of the owners. There was a steady stream of takeout orders during the 45 minutes we were there. Service was great, especially considering the number of tables being covered by one person. Our house salad and appetizer came quickly, accompanied by 2 garlic rolls, and our meals arrived only minutes after we finished them. The food was hot and tasted very good. Portions were not massive, which I find to actually be a problem at some Italian places. Im a big guy, and I was absolutely full when we were done. My wife didnt quite finish her whole meal. In the end, we paid about $40 (before tip) for a wine, softdrink, appetizer, house salad, pasta sampler, and chicken piccata. We had a pleasant conversation with the chef/owner who was helping to clear tables with his server/cashier/server/wife. All in all, just the type of restaurant we like, with good local food.

Absolute worst italian restaurant Ive ever been to. I went the other night with my girlfriend, I got veal and she got lasagna. The veal was mushy, griddy and 2 bites gave me a stomach ache. The lasagna had hard noodles and the cheese was griddy. We brought it to the attention of the manager, but all she said was they had the best lasagna in town she probably didnt realize that CVS was around the corner. She didnt even try to defend the veal. And all she should say was that she hopes we dont have the virus, because that affects our taste buds. Never eating here again. I have no clue how this place has 4 stars.

Off the bat the mood for this place is great, it gives a nice welcoming homey vibe ! I went with the cheese tortellini and it was very good maybe the best pasta I ve had in my life ! The bread here is also of great quality. We got the garlic bread with cheese and 2 bread rolls , and both where very crunchy with a soft interior the bread rolls are just plain bread but some of the best rolls I ve had ! The service was also amazing ! The waitress made sure everything was to our liking which I really appreciated :) I ll Let 100% be taking more friends and family here :)

I imagine this is a family run business. We were promptly greeted and sat with the waitress taking our drink orders immediately. After she brought out our drinks I ordered the veal marsala and my wife ordered the tortellini. Mind you, there were only 4 diners total in the restaurant, this should have been a hint, and the other party already had their food. About 15 minutes later our order came out and we began our meal. The veal tasted like it had been in a freezer since July 2020 and the tortellini looked and tasted like it had been microwaved before being placed in a 400° oven for 5 minutes. It was too hot to even eat. The waitress was eating in a table towards the back of the dining area, but was intently focused on her phone and sharing videos with the other 2 boys (who I assume are waitstaff as well) and never came back to the table to check on us. We waited another 10 minutes after not being able to eat our food before the waitress noticed that I was trying to get her attention for the check. All in all, we were very disappointed and hope someone else has a better experience than us IF they decide to try this spot out.

We stopped in on the way back to Dallas, I have to say it was AMAZING. Authentic handmade Italian. The best Italian food weve eaten hands down. I had the chicken marsala which had an amazing sauce and the chicken and mushrooms were so fresh and perfectly cooked. I dont remember what my husband had but it was a vegetable Primavera, we were talking about the food all day! I loved seeing the family that runs it, old school Italians, doing what they do. We will definitely be going back to eat again!
