Edit: so the chicken made me sick, never agian will i have the chicken. I love the burgers, and the fries are great , but the chicken tenders are dead tastless emaseated limp tenders. I wanna take it out back dig a hole and say a prayer. So dont get the chicken tenders unless you like the feeling of disappointment.

Greeting upon entering. I appreciate the recommendation by staff on my first visit.The chopped burger so I could experience the burger and brisket. The brisket was tender and the beef was prepared well. I enjoyed both as well as the fresh, perfectly seasoned fries. I was the only one here for most of my visit. I would come again.

I really wish it had been better. My husband and I were looking for a new place to get a great burger, unfortunately this was not it today. The meat is actually bland somehow and overpowered by the mustard on the burger. The sides are great so maybe other menu items are the way to go. Unfortunately we will not be going back.

Let s start off with this place used to be beyond yummy. Then something happened. Not sure what. The burger had zero taste. If you like poopy seed buns then you won t be disappointed. If you don t (like me) you ll be disappointed. We ordered the onion rings had zero taste. I thought the fries were supposed to be fresh cut? They were not. So sad when something like this happens. Save your money. Trust me.

As a Truck Driver, eating my way across this country, Im in Denton quite a bit (one of my terminals is here), and, depending on my load, hotel accommodations, I have a plethora of eateries I can choose from. Past two nights, its been Brisket Burger. I always tend to seek out the small mom n pop shop over a chain, because you can really taste the love. And they serve love here. Last night, I had their Pizza Burger, cooked Med-Rare. Their burgers are made from Brisket, Short Rib, and select cuts of Beef. Not only does it offer a very unique flavor profile, but texture too... a bit more of a bite than your standard burger patty. I had their Fried Mushrooms on the side... hand cut, fresh dredge, into the fryer. Soft, tender, delicious Mushrooms. Mmmmm... While I was waiting for my food (to go), I was rethinking my life choices... they were plating up two orders of Catfish, and a Catfish Po-Boy. Beams of light were emanating from behind the clamshells... they were images of beauty. SO.... thats what Im having tonight... Catfish... Fried Okra... Fried Mushrooms (again)... and Coleslaw. All the sauces. TWO nice size filets, freshly dredged and fried. Same with the shrooms. Tender and tasty. Cooked perfectly. Nice, friendly staff, clean restaurant. If youre in the Denton area, I highly recommend. Great food and service, and youre supporting a local business. Win/win!!

Very good I m a trucker passing through stuck for Memorial Day weekend. Got a hotel room up the street and they are the only place other than dennys in walking distance. What a surprise, food was excellent got the mushroom burger nice and rare and some huge onion rings it was very good, the chili pie was not what I was expecting but I ll know next time. This is literally the best BBQ around. I have had BBQ everyday for the past 2 weeks from different places from Denton to Gainesville and this is HANDS DOWN THE BEST. Everywhere I have been the brisket was so dry it was almost beef jerky. THIS BRISKET is so tender and juicy! The chicken and sausage are both tender and juicy as well. Everything on the menu is exploding with flavor. This place has ruined me for all other BBQ, they can t compete with this place until they put their heart and soul into their cooking like the good people at Brisket Burger do. Treat yourself to a meal here. You will NOT be disappointed.

I came here for the first time looking for brisket with my wife. Unfortunately the brisket was sold out but decided to get a Philly steak and a chicken sandwich, and it was really amazing. Ordered a burger, haystacks and a root beer float. Food was out within 10 minutes and it was tasty. BUT after waiting over 35 minutes we had to go check on the float order again. It took less than 1 minute to drop 2 scoops of ice cream in a glass of root beer. I guess we were forgotten.

We have been here before and it was good so we went there with our parents and we ordered 6 meals, 3 of them being the brisket burger which none had the sautéed onions on them so we asked for them and were given a cup of super cold onions which our burgers weren t even warm enough to heat them up. I asked for my burger to be remade with sautéed onions that weren t super cold and when it came back, it had mustard instead of mayo like requested but i just scraped it off because I didn t want to complain about the same burger twice and I also believe it was the same patty recooked because it was hard and had the most bitter flavor I honestly couldn t even eat it because it just tasted like burnt bitter burger each bite. The chili cheese fries were very good though but we went for good burgers and everyone was pretty disappointed in theirs, not even just me with the burnt one. We were honestly surprised at how different the experience was from the first time we went there but we probably won t be back. It s just too expensive for the quality of food received.

In an old Sonic building, needs some cleanup and a tad more pairing down of a long menu. I was kinda overwhelmed..I liked my chopped beef sandwich but it did give me indigestion even though I only ate half. I had good flavor and Im a sucker for pickels on my sandwich! If you dont know about Brisket Burger, you need to find out. I have been coming here about once a month for 2 years. Im a trucker, and if I could do it 3x/week Id be here 4, lol. The food is INCREDIBLE. I LOVE BBQ. I have had Championship grade BBQ, I even do a little smoker work as well, and when I tell you that this is the best Brisket/BBQ I have EVER had, I make a gross understatement. And if you can get your hands on the House Beans(they frequently sell out!) then you are in for a TREAT. Service is a little slow, but thats because Jon and Company make just about everything fresh, and this place is BUSY from can see to cant see. Do yourself, your taste buds and your tummy a favor. This local mom and pop restaurant greets you with a cozy and homely atmosphere. The aroma of good eating hits you as you approach the door. Customer service is superb! I ordered a Frisco burger with house fries, while my boyfriend ordered a Big Bubba and neither of us have any complaints. This place has a huge menu. Seafood and BBQ. Of course, gourmet hambergers. Weve only had burgers and chili dogs. The dogs are huge franks split on a custom bun. The chili has to be homemade with chunks of ground beef. There is a huge variety of burgers to choose from. Our 2 visits have always been burgers or dogs. Both are yummy. The sides are great and special too. Onion rings or onion strings. The strings are unique and tasty. The fries are lightly batter coated with a flavorful seasoning. I love them because even as they become cool, they stay crispy. This is a hidden hole-in-the-wall joint worthy of your visit. Enjoy.

Food was amazing! I got the brisket burger with potato salad and a slice of pecan pie. The potato salad was delicious! It had a nice addition of dill weed that went great with the mustard and other mixes. Imo it wouldve been even better with some boiled eggs. The burger was phenomenal as well! My only complaint is that their onion rings (both regular and haystack) are always a bit on the soggy side. The flavor is on point, so it s disappointing when they re not crispy. Go with the Sidewinders for your side; they re great! And the burgers are always flavorful albeit dry on occasion. If you prefer plain burgers with no sauces, give their bbq a go. Brisket Burger is my favorite restaurant on this side of town, so don t skip this one!

Only reason its 4 star instead of 5 is because i ordered the Brisket Burger, but there was no brisket on my burger. Lol also there is no descriptions on the menu. Literally Wow!! When we first arrived the location seemed a little sketch...... dont let that fool you..... The food is SOOO GOOOD!!! This is coming from a picky person that will walk out of a restaurant if its not on point. It had such a relaxed homey feel with great tasting food. The girls at the counter were so sweet. I got the Pulled Pork sandwich with the Amazing dill potato salad. Hubby got the Brisket burger with Haystrings thin fried onions. My boys had the Philly steak sandwich & Chopper burger with Sidewinder Fries. Everything vanished from our plates. If youre a pickle lover, you must try their homemade pickles. Food was good, the girls up front taking orders where awesome and took care of us. They had there system go down while taking my order. We waited 40 mins till they realized the ticket didn t cross over. Not a big deal kind of sucks for wait time. But the dinning area!!!!! This place has aaaaaa lot water damage in the ceiling tiles. There is a huge amount of black mold in every ceiling tile above the dining area where you eat. It is disgusting! they have so much water damage. The AC vent into the room is starting to rust out.

Really nice little hole in the wall, if you drive fast, youll miss it. The brisket burger was amazing, great service at the counter, even better service when they bring your food out to your table. If your driving by Denton, be to stop by.

Lots of potential but most of our food was either cold or room temp. It probably sat there as we waited for over 20 minutes for our food. I ordered no sauteed onions and there they were, no worries I can pull them off... they were cold like just came out of the fridge cold. All of my wifes food was not hot either. We both said this would be great food if it was warm. The only food that was warm was my burger patty. My wifes Texas toast was only toasted on one side she said it would have been amazing toasted on both sides. All the ingredients for great food and service just a little improvement and this place will be amazing.

Excellent service from the beginning. Feels like home. It s open to all people. Very comfy warm and cozy and that s before the food. Lots of options for the burgers. Options that rival burger joints that are gentrified. I had the bacon cheese burger and the sautéed onions. To die for! The woman at the counter wasn t upset when I wanted to change my drink. The burger reminded me of backyard burgers from when I was a kid. The ingredients and taste are the best. I also had it with fried okra and it was amazing.

I read good reviews so we decided to have lunch here. Driving up to restaurant I wasn t so sure, but stepped inside and knew it was going to be good . However when we got our food, we changed our opinion to EXCELLENT . Generous servings of a variety of delicious selections. You won t be disappointed! Easy on/off and close to I-35.

Friendly mom and pops. My card was not getting read by POS and Olivia comped me the order of chilli cheese fries.Another time I had Malibu chicken and it was the bomb. This is a Denton treasure but might get overlooked because of the location. Exterior is not much to look at but its fantastic food and service.

This place is a gem, probably one of the better burger spots in Texas. Ive tried multiple items, and Ive never had something I didnt like. If you are on the fence about trying this place because of the location or how the exterior of the building looks, just do it, you wont be disappointed.

The bun is this mix of the best parts of a bun, soft, sourdough like and the perfect size. The fries were seasoned just right, yum! There are so many options! Burgers, chicken, I cant wait to go back to try the pulled pork with an egg on top!

Update, I finally got to talk to the owner. He apologized multiple times and was going to talk to the cook. Its possible that it was someone new mistake. Hopefully it was a one time thing. The brisket sandwich was great. Redeem themselves for sure. First the good the girl Sarah (I think was her name) took my to go order. She went extra mile. The unfortunate part is that I guess they employee chef MIKE OWAVE to warm up their pulled pork. I asked for slaw on side, which it needed at least a touch of vinger & salt if not a little sugar to round it out. Otherwise it tastes like poorly inconsistent knife cut cabbage with mayo. Back to the sandwich. Open up the box there the bottom bun with dry pulled pork and the top bun laying next to it, drowning in mustard, BBQ sauce, grilled onions & pepper and pickle one on & one off the bun. It was soaking wet to the point I couldnt make a sandwich. So I had a very hard chewy bottom bun that was obviously extremely microwaved with a soaking wet top bun. The meat wasnt to bad, but had no BBQ sauce which it desperately needed after being hammered in the microwave. WhenI called to tell them suddenly the manager wasnt there. I called the following day & manger isnt there had no idea when hed be back until I pushed to talk to someone in charge. Then hed be back in 1or 2hrs & shed have him call. Very unprofessional and its just wrong to destroy such great cuts of BBQ by putting it in the microwave. As a chef there really shouldnt be a microwave in a professional kitchen. Very disappointed in the food and the person who wouldnt allow me to talk to a manger.

Definitely call before you go. Usually there s only one person working, so unless you re the very first order it s about a 30 minute-1 hour wait for the burger. When you do get the food, it s good though.

I had the Benedict Burger and cheese fries. Fries by themselves were great but adding the cheese put them over the top. The 1/2 pound burger was flavorful from start to finish. High recommended if in the area especially if staying in one of the near by hotels

Nice, quaint, cozy burger joint where you can sit inside and visit or stay outside in your car in the shade. Take out seems to be the preferred choice. The place was clean and well decorated. For those that miss a greasy spoon hamburger, this is the place to go. They offer generous portions and very well seasoned regular and sweet potato fries. I wish Id tried their fried mushrooms. My ONLY criticism would be that the fries needed to be warmer. A great place to eat and we will be back!!

Stopped in for the first time. I am blown away! The young lady taking our order was SO helpful, even making suggestions for dietary accommodations. The food was outstanding! I had the Buffalo Wings and onion straws. Next time I am in the area, this is a MUST STOP! Cant recommend it enough! Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating, including having the grill scraped and cook freshly was hands.

It all looked delicious but none of it was impressive, Brisket melt doesn t have much taste and had some very tough pieces then some very tender pieces, no consistency at all. Fried okra looked amazing but had no taste. I asked if the coleslaw was really good and was told yes, it isn t. Their sign said add a drink for $1.49 but they charged me $3.89, I didn t notice it until after I left. Won t be returning. The only good thing was the appearance of the food but after that it was all disappointing.

great variety of burgers and fries. wings were plump and sauce was delicious. the burger patty itself was a little tough and seems more like a frozen patty than from scratch. prices are in line with the quality and i would still likely eat here again!
