I never imagined the great clips persons can be this arrogant. This was first time experiencing this kind of behaviour from them. I dunno what s wrong with them and during my hair cut when i asked her id she can correct the other side too, she was like i won t do it any other time. This is not expected from them. Huge disappointment.

I had to go back and have my cut blended in better and it still doesnt look like it should Requested style: The cut I wanted was stacked in the back and cut towards the face in the front. Hair type: I do have a cowlick but the bending needed was in the front so it was very obvious

This is the worst experience I ever faced so far even giving the 1star is not worth it , she didn t even asked me how to style my hair she started to cut my hair with the previous note on my account on how to do it, I explained her to do it in a different way as I wanted to try a new hair style half way through she told that it would cost me $70 for it look like what I expected and she is so rude even to dry my hair she said it would come under styling and she didn t even dry my hair completely and her name is Andrea, now I have to wear a cap for at least 2 weeks. I didn t know why would great clips hire this kind of people

It s my worst experience in the great clips, I don t know her name she was chubby and with reddish face she even don t know how to handle the trimmer and she is working there. Great clips first train your staff. The other salons are far better than you guys. I will suggest my friends not to take a haircut here because it s worst behaviour and untrained staff.

I made the appointment for my young son (8). Checked in online, like they always insist, and waited the time . Then went in around the time we had 15 minutes left. My son was the next in line and when the next hairstylist was ready for the next client, she turns to the stylist in the first chair-presumably the manager- and says I m not comfortable cutting kids hair . The other woman said that s fine , and the ready stylist calls the personal after us. There was no explanation or apology to my son and I. No eye contract. Not a word from the other woman either. I was blown away. I completely understand, young kids can be a little squirmy, but my son looks older than he is, and the fact that she didn t even tell me, was completely unacceptable. Had she said something to me, I d have understood. We will definitely not be returning to this location, and I ll tell everyone I know not to take their families there, especially children since apparently they don t matter. I appreciated the woman who did cut his hair, but when we got home and I looked at it more closely, it was one of the worst cuts he s had. I m so disappointed. We ve usually had much better experiences with Great Clips.

She didnt check her work so I had to go back and it trimmed. One side is shorter than the other . Now it is to short on one side and uneven on the other . My hair was in the middle of my back I should have just gotten a trim. I have cancer and I was loosing a lot.

The staff has always been super friendly to me. Unfortunately, the last two times Ive gone here, they cut my hair sooooo unevenly, Ive had to fix it myself after getting home. I always just get a simple fade, easy fast and simple, but both times the women seemed to really struggle with it. Its really not worth the price, Id be better off just cutting it myself.

Avoid this location. I went in to get a haircut and the hairdresser messed me up so bad, she missed multiple spots, it was completely uneaven, and gave me half of a hard part on accedent then tried to cover it up. When I said that some of the hair was sticking out at weird angles on the side she said oh it does that and gelled it down.. I had to go to another location to get it fixed.

I have been to many Great Clips across the country. For over two decades, I have had maybe a couple okay experiences but mostly good. Never in my life have I had a worst consumer experience at a place of business. I asked the hairdresser multiple times to cut my hair more and she seemed too concerned with my moles on my head and freaked out enough to stop cutting my hair and ask another hairdresser to check my moles. Would never give this place another chance.

Firstly, Giving a 1star is also totally waste. Just now I had my hair cut at 1435 S loop location. An American lady with zero patience had done a worst haircut. I asked for a buzz hairstyle.. And she completed in less than 4minutes. Awful. My fiancé just went in and gave very clear instructions. She cut off all of his highlights, evidently does NOT know what about an inch is, (his hair being about 3 1/2 inches long) did not even follow the clear line between his crown and his sides. Left a harsh line on the back of his head AND how do you even cut the crown so incredibly short and not cut any of the under crown. It was clear she combed all his hair back to cover her mistakes when he walked in and sat with all his curls clearly pulled forward. Ill fix it and continue cutting his hair better than the start out professionals please spend your money elsewhere.

Wouldn t recommend this place for womens haircut. Went there couple of days ago to get some trimming done with layers style. The lady ended up doing a horrible job, didn t even dry my hair completely after the cut. I walked home with wet hair and my husband was like I could have given you a better cut than this. I think the place is short staffed and the ones who are working are overworked so they seemed to be in some sort of rush to just finish the cut quickly. All I can say is that for next few days I m going to hate seeing my hair in the mirror.

Took my 2 daughters in for a haircut. Each had a different stylist. One daughter no complaints the stylist did a really good job I wish I caught her name. My oldest however all she wanted was a trim and wispy bangs I showed her the picture. My poor baby she has a chunk on one side, even after having the other stylist fix them for her because they were uneven. Last time I booked an appointment, waited an hour at home and reached there when got a message saying I am up next in 15 mins but when I reached within 15 mins, couldn t find my name on the list. Normally I like this place but today was terrible. Checked in on line but when we arrived the person checking us in had the wrong person. I knew this when she said there was no +1 when the screen obviously showed there was one. When I tried to point it out she cut me off and refused to listen. Later it became obvious when another worker realized we were under the wrong name and fixed that but we obviously were now listed as walk as everyone who walked in was being taken ahead of us. I needed a haircut at short notice. Went in not quite knowing what to expect. Melinda was very sweet and did my hair the way I requested with lots of layers! My hair had been uneven from a previous haircut. She fixed it...great result! Highly recommend.

Due to personal circumstances I had been cutting my own hair for several years. I have spent a fortune over the years on folks that were touted as Expert Sylists who didnt provide such a pleasant experience. I checked in online and breezed into my appointment. Misty worked with me. She was patient and kind and whats more understood my mop of wavy hair. Great service, check in online, and always affordable. A good experience all around.
