I found this place and really liked it. ordered 3 days In a row, and on the third day I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, ya know, egg, bacon. I got no egg. they gave me a bagel, with bacon.... really?! I hope this isnt a common occurence...

I love Sweetwaters! Great cappuccino and the perfect place for a catch-up with a friend. And although they re located in a strip-mall the atmosphere here is hip, cozy and inviting. They offer plenty of seating indoor or outside. The patio is equipped with umbrellas to keep the sun out of your eyes. Friendly knowledgeable staff makes this a really nice experience. Parking: Plenty of free parking.

I do not like that they give you your coffee in a paper cup although you are drinking the coffee there. Well I do understand that there are people who take a to-go, I feel like it would be better if you asked the person if they wanted to drink the coffee in-house, or wanted to take a to go. The ambience is decent. The servers are really sweet. Loved the scones! Kid-friendliness: There were games that kids could play. Looks like a family-friendly place.

about a year ago I got an iced tea that had been made in the same container used to make Chai, and had an allergic reaction due to an allergy to cinnamon. they were very kind and apologetic, but I stayed away out of caution. Decided to go back today because I figured it was a one time accident, but I got an entirely different drink and the same thing happened again. I can t trust their cleaning procedures and won t be coming back.

Comfortable seating with outlets and games to either get together with friends or study solo. Music playing in the background with coffee or tea makes perfect for relaxing or productivity. Highly recommend the variety of teas! Iron goddess is one my favorites, do try it if you are a tea fanatic or the crème caramel for sweet and bitter coffee.

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is one of my favorite coffee shops locally. The coffee and espresso drinks all have great flavor, no burnt, nasty coffee here. The teas, smoothies, and shakes are all great too! I love that there are some kid friendly options. Food is also great, big plus is they have a few gluten free options! My favorite thing about Sweetwaters is the atmosphere. It is always pleasant and the workers are so kind and sweet. We love to sit and play the board games they have available and just enjoy hanging out. I always like to recommend Sweetwaters to anyone when they want a good place to chill with a cup of coffee or meet for a business chat. Its a great place to go!

I really like that this place is owned by a Christian family and its incredible competition for WOKE Starbucks. The organic coffee is delicious and Im thrilled its a standard all the time. Half the time they get the orders wrong, however. They are always in a state of training new people (they are obviously popular) and when the orders are wrong, they appear overwhelmed and blame the new staff, say theyre having a weird day or something else. If they just apologized, it would be better instead of making excuses and blaming the new people. Its comfortable, though, and has plenty of seating. Lots of Christian decorations, which is rare and nice. Lots of outlets for charging devices. Wide variety of food choices. I like it much much more than Dutch Bros. I dont like drive throughs, and young adults standing out in car exhaust, poor things. So, yes. My opinion is that this place is the BEST coffee and tea shop in Denton by far! Parking: Park in front, on the side, or in the back. The back patron entrance has a ramp. Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly, including the music. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for back patron entrance. Large bathrooms.

Ive been going for several months now, practically on a daily basis, and I have only great things to say about the staff. Definitely want to commend Abbie, who sees me there every day: so kind, genuine, and personable. And has great recommendations on drinks when I ask for a surprise! I have always loved the delicious iced coffees from here! But the staff at Sweetwaters has really been here for me these last few days! I wasn t feeling well. Their amazing herbal hot teas have been the only thing that have helped my sore throat and sinus infection! Its like natural medicine! It works better than cough syrup or cough drops for me! The teas cure all of my symptoms for a few hours! It is magical! My favorite go to teas that have helped me feel better are the Roobios orange tea with a delicious flavor, and the chamomile tea is really good too! On top of how much better the tea has helped me feel! The staff have been so sweet to me! I have been ordering from them off of door dash. I let them know I wasn t feeling well and I needed a few of the teas in smaller cups. Because the regular teas are so big! So they not only put the hot teas in smaller cups for me so I could sample a few different teas at the same time. They also write sweet get well notes on my tea cups! Telling me they hope I feel better soon! That touches my heart! Their kindness and their Tea has already made me feel a lot better! After all their support and realizing how healthy their herbal teas are, I will be a forever customer!

The food and drinks at Sweetwaters are delicious, but in the past 6 months or so, they have messed up every single order that I ve ordered from doordash. I completely stopped ordering my favorite food item, the spinach ricotta croissant, because I consistently received it completely uncooked, soggy, and soaking wet. It used to come perfectly cooked and ready to eat, I don t know why any restaurant would send soggy, wet, uncooked food to a customer. Today I ordered a green tea latte, and the correct order is written on the cup, but it seems yall forgot to make a latte at all. The cup is full of regular tea, no cream or steamed milk or anything. Making me pay $6 for a tea bag is ridiculous. I don t want to get any employees in trouble because I ve worked in food service long enough to know that when a problem is this consistent, there is an issue with the management, not the people making the food. I m not sure if y all have changed management or just gave up caring about your employees and customers, but service did not used to be like this. Sweetwaters is clearly either understaffed or the employees aren t being trained correctly, and the managers and owners need to take accountability for this. If your employees aren t able to keep up with doordash orders without constantly sending out uncooked food and wrong orders, you either need to hire more employees or just don t accept doordash orders for the sake of your employees and customers.

I had read the reviews prior to go and people stating the welcome was Luke warm or not welcomed at all. While they dont do the whole Starbuck thing about shouting out welcome to startbucks, they were pleasant enough. I was there to work, have coffee and eat. Trinity was cordial and sweet. She took my order and offered to bring it to me at the end of the counter where I was sitting. She let me know that even though I ordered a latte if I wanted refills I can on coffee. The coffee was good. I got a latte heavy cream with sugar free almond syrup. I would have liked it with one pump less bit that was my fault. It still was good and it went down fast. I stayed there the entire day and kept smelling all the wonderful things they put in their baking machine. I ended up getting a bagel sandwich and it was very good. I ordered a matcha green tea frap. The young man was pleasant enough. Not as good as Trinity. Lots of people there throughout the day. I only lost internet connectivity once but it came back within a few minutes. The price of the coffee was better than Avoca on 377 and tasted equally as good. Way better internet. I am taking my husband there this morning. Gonna try that one less almond pump today and more crustless quiche

My husband and I order Sweetwaters almost every weekend through UberEATS, and with the amazing quality were going to have to stop by in person soon to check it out! We have yet to find something on the menu that we dont like, personally Im a huge fan of the mango matcha jeweled lemonade. The bacon egg and cheese asiago bagel is another favorite of ours. Came in for the first time (have been once before to pick up a DoorDash and swore I d come back ..finally did.) The owner made my drinks personally and was so personable. As a local real estate agent, I like having good spots to meet with clients or for a quick stop in for a drink or snack during the day. Apparently you can be a grinch with Sweetwater s Coffee! We had the worst service upon visiting for our first time. I have friends from Arkansas in town and wanted to introduce them to a nice local spot and we were met with rudeness and attitude. No one welcomed us and when we said we had never been no one offered to help us look at the menu or give recommendations, I had to ask. Very little eye contact and when it came time to grab our orders from the bar, no one acknowledged us, even after we said thank you. It took 15 minutes for them to heat up and bring a croissant out, while they made other food for customers after us. All around just felt like a hostile environment and the workers seemed less than happy to be there and serve their customers. It s a shame the food and drinks were good, because we will never be back.

I hate to add bad reviews but the iced latte I got today was not good. One of my first complaints is that I specifically asked for sugar free brown sugar syrup and I saw them put the regular syrup in. Secondly, the espresso they put in the latte wasnt poured right and it tasted completely sour. And lastly, I got maybe handful of ice in my ICED latte and it was still warm. Just dont understand why this coffee was just as expensive as starbucks but not even near the quality.

Everything I ve tried is hard for me not to get addicted to!! My partner & I go all the time. The food is all unique & made with high quality ingredients. I recommend trying the Breakfast Sandwiches, the cold brew, iced matchas, granola parfaits, & the Sour Cream Pecan Cake. They have good customer service but sometimes forget items, mainly baked goods, so a gentle reminder is always nice :) Owner is super sweet & it s nice to see her there often. She truly cares about her business running smoothly. She also continuously features artwork from local artists, super commendable!

I don t understand DoorDash drivers are customers. But, this place won t allow their drivers to use the restroom after waiting 10min to pick up an order? Even yelled and belittled one poor driver. So unnecessary. I cannot imagine how they treat their actual employees. Please, don t support this place no matter how good the coffee and tea is.

Way better than your average mom and pop coffee shop. It s really cute inside and they make their own whip cream! Wish I would have discovered this place sooner! I live an hour and a half away and only come out to Denton for training and have been for the last month! Today is my last day! Haha I could have been coming here every morning! Try the Vietnamese cold coffee!!! Such rich coffee flavor.

The coffee was absolutely delicious and really good prices. I want to thank Katelin ( the manager on duty). I was trying this place for the first time and was a little lost in what to order. Katelin helped me figure out what to order by listening to what coffee I normally buy. She was the sunshine on a cloudy day. Its pretty good! The baked goods are delicious. I wish there was more options for caffeine free but I know most of the world cant get enough of it so its a big ask. I had their citrus something caffeine free iced tea? I couldnt drink it. Im still giving 4 stars because I think yall are great but the drink just tasted like... cigarettes? I dont even know. The coffee is amazing though! So are the iced dragons.

Sweetwater has the best coffee in Denton. The French Vietnamese au late is the best thing in the world. Their desserts and brekky sandwiches never fail me either. Way underrated especially with all the coffee shops we have in town but I am #TeamSweetWater all day!

No real social distancing or mask orders put into place. An older woman wears her below her nose almost every time I come in and she s a staff member. Their cafe is open and tables are not spaced apart so they are not following any CDC guidelines. Coffee is okay, but not worth the complete disregard for the pandemic we are in.
