Im currently trying to contact the manager of this location. I went this morning and I forgot what the name was but its essentially cold brew elixir syrup and milk. The server was very kind to catered to my specific order. I didnt realize it didnt have whole milk and so I didnt add any milk or syrup to my order I just wanted the elixir and cold brew. I didnt realize that she just used espresso in water instead of cold brew until I said something and thats when she told me they dont have cold brew anymore. I was charged $2 less from the $10 the drink would be to the total I was charged $8 and I feel jipped and disappointed. Never coming here again

This place is awesome. Great atmosphere. David the owner is super welcoming. I ll be back for sure. The drinks are also awesome. Service was as good as it gets. Highly recommended to stop in for a Kava drink while you re running errands or if you just want to chill at the bar. Great vibe.

People here are great. Friendly and inviting. they will inform you about kava and all that they offer. But I didnt really like the taste of what they offered. It is non alcoholic but has an alcoholic taste. I dont like alcohol. so thats probably why I didnt like it.

This place used to be great but it is no longer Kava Culture. They changed to The Kava Bar and the entire menu and all products are different now and its not as good. There is a new Kava Culture location in Fort Worth on Heritage Trace that I would recommend over this. Much closer to the metroplex too.

Honestly have yet to have anything but a great experience here. Its great for a night out or for popping in mid-day with kiddos in-tow. There are games, live performers some nights and trivia and bingo as well. Staff is friendly and informative and everything weve tried has been great. Highly recommend.

A great learning, social, and emotional experience. This herbal bar venue is a much needed deviation from the myriad of bars and coffee shops you can find near any downtown area. This place has plenty of space and seating to fit the impromptu or planned meet up. Good for first dates or old roommates. The drinks are very tea-like and the kava very earthy. The benefits of which are well documented and great for those looking for organic and pure refreshments without exception. They also offer several other drinks that can quench your thirst and chill your mind. Offering music and good vibes this is the good place for a down time.

Games, great people, free WiFi, lounge spaces. What more can you ask for? I wish they had a closer location in Dallas, I would spend all of my money here with my wife, as were both non-alc. Please, please consider East Dallas/WRL as a second location people around here would love a place to hang out that isnt a traditional bar!!

I have been here once and truly loved it. The atmosphere and drinks were amazing. However, being someone that does not live relatively close to Denton (30-40 min drive), driving all the way here just to see a temporarily closed sign on the door is a big let down. I really want to come here again because I loved it, but don t know when I can because their posted hours don t seem to line up.

When I first tried their kava and other drinks, it was a great experience and I the barista was very nice, don t get me wrong. But I m giving this place a 1 star until they change the hours on Google. They re NOT open, they re temporarily closed with no explanation. It s been incredibly stressful the past two weeks and I really wanted some kava here only to find that it was closed both times I ve came here, because they don t have any indication online or on the door as to when they ll open again. Sorry for the inconvenience isn t gonna cut it for me, especially for someone who has to travel far to get to UNT Denton and doesn t have the luxury to come and go whenever I please. Especially during this past week, I DO NOT tolerate anyone wasting my time.

I love all the kava cocktails they have in store for everyone!!! All the games are super fun to play and its for sure an awesome place to hang out with friends. I also love that its open until 2am. Oh I wish Wichita Falls had a place as Kava Culture The staff is wonderful Friday is Karaoke tonight. This Grandma has a great time. My bucket list checked Karaoke off the list. There is a comfortable couch and chair to read or try janga. In Denton this is my first stop.

WOW! Just wow! I am completely blown away at how delicious this juice bar is. This is a treasure and you should go way out of your way to get here. What a treat to have options other than alcohol. I tried the kava and the Kratom, and everything is so delicious. I left with so much energy and there were so many amazing people here, as well. The service is out of this world. The selection and freshness is the best you will find. They have karaoke and create such a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT miss this Denton treat. What a wonderful experience! Kava is an amazing alternative to alcohol. The barista was very knowledgeable and friendly. Kava is a very relaxing drink, the effects somewhat like alcohol without the loss of motor function. I can still read a book or drive a car. My body and muscles felt very relaxed and my husband of 15 years and I had a great conversation for hours. Its a pretty cool place too. Games and comfy seats, there was a Harry Potter trivia the next week...wish we could have attended. Definitely check this place out if youre looking for an alternative to a night out drinking for social interaction and a new way to unwind without the hangover and regrets of booze.

Great drinks, amazing staff, and the best feel. This is a relaxed place that has an alcohol-alternative concoction for every occasion - highly recommend the Kava latte to start any day, for example. Prices are comparable to those of good cocktails and one always gets their moneys worth (get the premium, always worth). Would recommend for meeting up with friends, a night out, or, literally, whenever theyre open is a good time.

I couldnt be happier with the place, menu, staff, service, environment, culture, & music. They have kava, kratom, cbd, & delta drinks. I prefer the kava, & I highly recommend anyone to try it. Especially if you are trying to chill w friends, hang out, study... so many reasons to visit. They are open early so you can grab a coffee drink, & open late so you can have a night cap or spend the whole night there (like I have on both visits so far). First night they has karaoke (fridays), Sunday was chill (perfect for a friend and I to study), & I heard Saturdays they may have more of a dance vibe. Pet friendly! Be mindful of your pets if you bring them though, of course - rules say to keep em leashed. Everyone we met was super sweet, including guests coming in. This is a wonderful alternative to drinking alcohol & I cannot stress that enough. First & only kava bar in North Texas!! I still cannot contain my excitement that I live near it. They have a big menu (for drinks), dont hesitate to ask questions - everyone has been super helpful with explanations. They have adaptogens you can add, two types of kava, even a large fridge of canned Yerba mate ~ There are lots of board & card games, as well as books to check out while relaxing.

This is a cool spot, and the staff goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere! The whole vibe of the place is awesome, very bar bar, meets coffee bar. You should check it out, they have drinks that they mix with either kava, kratom, or delta 8 so theres something for everyone! I discovered Kava Bar recently during the Denton Coffee Crawl. I popped in with my kiddos, and out of all the stops we made that day, Kava Bar won as our favorite spot, hands down!! It was such an inviting atmosphere and so very relaxing. Few places have made us feel so welcomed. I tried the kava and the cold brew that they offered to sample. It was such a great experience. The gals were willing to explain everything and answer all the questions I had. The kids got to have hot cocoa, and all day long they kept saying that Kavas was the best hot cocoa. I cant wait to go back and try more flavors of the drinks they offer. So grateful for such a sweet experience.

I did research, sat down with the manager & asked ALL the questions because I didn t understand what kava was. Here s what I learned: What is it? Kava is derived from a root in the Pacific Islands / Fiji. Elixir is derived from the leaves from a plant in SE Asia. Both are organic and vegan. What does it do? Each variety is meant to provide a unique effect, so you can pick your mood with each drink including energy and relaxation. Basically a non-alcoholic, non-addictive plant-based buzz. The effects can kick in around 15min-1hr depending on which type you get. What does it taste like? Kava has an earthy taste and pairs best with creamier drinks on the menu. Kava infused drinks on tap are an alternative without the earthy flavor. Elixir has a flavor similar to green tea and pairs best with fruity drinks. What does Bula mean? It s a symbolic word for a toast or cheers to good health. The first Bula drink (includes Kava) is free for all new customers and served in a coconut shell cup. What else do they serve? You must be 18+ years old to order Kava and Elixir, but can get the mocktail version of any of their drinks. They also have a good selection of regular coffee & tea drinks, including matcha & golden milk lattes! Almost everything offered is vegan, including some of their locally sourced pre-packaged snacks to munch on. What are the vibes? They wanted to create a safe, non-alcohol atmosphere where people of all ages (including pets!) can come study, work, play games (a great selection!), hang out and be entertained with future mic nights, improv, creative workshops and more. When I heard about this place I had to go check it out. I suffer from anxiety daily and I went to Kava Culture today for the soft opening to try Kava , hoping for some relief.The staff was very friendly and it was a relaxing environment. The Kava is great for anixiety and helped make my day better .. If you need relief for stress take a little trip to Kava Culture and chillax!!
