Food is great and love to support local so I eat here sometimes. Recommend to those living in the Denton area looking for some good Chinese food. Service can be hit or miss though so that s my only con. Editing (July 2, 2024) to add that service has only gone downhill since my initial review. The past few times I have been here the staff has been very unfriendly. I ordered drive thru today and the employee didn t even say a word to me when I pulled up to the window, or even after giving me my food. Not even a simple hello or thank you. When I told her thank you she rolled her eyes and closed the window.

UPDATED REVIEW June 6, 2024 I used to love this place. The service has gone down hill. They come off like you are annoying them when you order if you can even hear them in the 1980 s speaker they have. They have messed up our orders on numerous occasions. I would honestly forgive that if the service wasn t so awful The food is sub par. I just can t get over the service. It s bad. Like really, really bad. We will be finding another place to visit from now on. Heard about this place for years and finally tried it. Everything we got was delicious. Staff was super friendly too! Will be going back for more!

Back in the 20-teens I really enjoyed the food here. But no more. These days theres ZERO FRESH INGREDIENTS! they serve FROZEN vegetables that come out super mushy, the rice is mashy and paste-like, the gravies are thick and gelatinous, and the so-called meat is a mystery parading as chicken/beef. Both the quality and preparation of THIS FOOD IS ABYSMAL.

This is a rather small establishment and I usually just get the food as takeout. It is definitely NOT fine dining Chinese food but it hits the spot when you want Chinese food but also something on the cheaper end. Filling this perfect niche spot is why I put it at the upper end of ratings despite how small and frankly cheap the food it. Been eating here for years and it always hits the spot.

I used to love this place, but over the past year or so the food quality has gone way downhill, and lately so has the customer service. The last couple of times I tried to go though their drive-thru, nobody even responded; the Open sign was on, it was after 11 am so they should have been open, there wasnt any sign on the drive-thru menu saying it was out of order or anything, but there was no answer. I dont know whats going on, but its such a shame, I really enjoyed their food in the past :(

The food is amazing, Id highly reccomend the sesame chicken with white rice! Egg drop soup is great as well. Service is horrible. If you want quick food this is not the place, and theyre horribly rude but the food is so good Ill still come by. Make sure to check your food before leaving though as they have a no return or refund policy.

We got lo-mein and pad thai. The flavor varied from bite to bite. Some times flavorful, other times bland. The shrimp on the pad thai was pretty good, but its hard to mess up shrimp. Service was odd. Its marketed as chinese fast food, so you expect service similar to panda express. While you order at a drive through, you have to drive around to the front and wait for them at curbside, and hope there is parking. Atmosphere - its a run down hole in the wall. Now a hole in the wall chinese place is generally really good, but not this place. Pro - its cheap as heck. So if you are broke college student and want a lot of sub par noodles for cheap, this is your place.

I normally dont leave bad reviews but the reason for my 1 Star is because the food was terrible. We used to buy from here very often and they used to give out the food in these plastic containers and they would serve a lot of food. I am not sure if the owner changed but I was very disappointed. Now, they serve the food on these white foam plates that will give you the impression of serving more food. When I got home and opened the plate I felt I was robbed. I also had asked for no spicy and still got spicy food. I ordered Orange Chicken (no spicy)- got 4 pieces of chicken and a bunch of rice and was spicy, Mongolian Beef (no spicy)- the beef was hard and chewy, never saw the beef maybe like 4 pieces and covered with a bunch of onions, Mixed Fried rice- was the most decent but no flavor and mushy. The quality of everything I ordered seemed to be off and did not taste like usual it was bland and did not have any flavor. Unfortunately, you have lost us as regular customers and will find a new Chinese place.

So, I went in to get some takeout, and the atmosphere and customer service was lacking severely. The cashier didnt say hello or greet anyone(just stared at me), had a bad attitude, and when I asked her questions regarding the menu, she was very short with me. I was treated as a nuisance. I understand that we live in a new day and age, but customer service is still vital to adding and maintaining a customer base. Train your employees better, and teach them customer service skills please. Besides that, the food was good.

I normally only come here when I m sick because the egg drop soup is amazing and right down the road from me. However I decided to try dinner here recently and while I don t think I would personally come back, I wanted to share a few positives and negatives for people! Positive: The vegetable lo mein slaps. It was not dry at all and came with a good amount of vegetables in a huge portion size. Negatives: - The General Tso chicken was chewy and congealed. I m a texture person so I couldn t get past this, but the flavor of sauce was pretty good. - The crab rangoons are overpriced for the quantity and quality of the item. They barely had any filling in them and were greasy. This place is a great option for fast food for college kids, and if you just want a quick takeout meal, but nothing amazing.

Maybe this is the way its cooked but the beef was tough and a bit dry in my opinion. Nah I ain t coming back sorry, went through drive thru today to get a quick bite to eat. Got four seasons with a side of fried rice. I pull up to my job and take two bites and what do I see in my food a dead fly!! Luckily it was in my side fried rice but still all the food would be contaminated it came from the same pot. And there s no exchange or refunds so I can t call to ask for new food. I enjoyed your food until this experience please check your food before eating y all. This place is good! This was my first visit and I think it s pretty tasty. I got sesame chicken with steamed rice. It s quite a bit of food for $8! The sauce is really good and the chicken is crispy. Came here 15 minutes before they closed and there were 2 cars in front of me and 2 cars behind me in the drive thru by the time I left. I m sure the guys working were just ready to be done but they were friendly, helpful, and the food was still fresh and delicious! I ve been coming here for about 10 years. There s only two plates that I would recommend when coming here and that is the sesame chicken and the orange chicken. I believe over the years the quality of the food has gone down horrendously. For an example today I bought a Low Mein dish with mix meat meaning it comes with shrimp,chicken and beef with an up charge of I believe 13 bucks ? I ll leave a picture below to let you see if this indeed looks like a 13 dollar plate with a lot of shrimp !

They literally ask you if you have cash on you because their business prefers cash for whatever reason. And the drive through people could definitely be more cheerful. That being said, the food SLAPS. Like, its GOOD GOOD. Go there. Totally a hole in the wall. The drive through people might not say 2 words to you except to see if you can possibly pay in cash, but the food is absolutely 5 star and thats why I rated it that. If this place showed up in an episode of better call saul or breaking bad I would not be surprised. Low priced GOOD chinese food though. Chicken lo mein is my go to.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside or they inside. I am not sure if there was an Asian employee inside however, the employees that were inside working really know how to make awesome food. It is the best I have eaten in Denton so far. This place is a to go place. There are only a couple seats inside but they dont look like they vet used much. Went there and order the 8pcs dumplings and the moo goo (E5) for $15. Walked 10 mins home was super excited to eat, went to open the dumplings and eat one, proceeded to open the moo goo and mix the rice w the meat to only find a live roach walking on the food. Came here for lunch break and one of the chefs in the kitchen sampled the food with his finger, it was a huge turn off and I guess I should have guess with the run down exterior. Will not be back anytime soon. I like how the owner likes to leave contact information for customer service, but as an owner reading the negative reviews should know what changes need to be made. I mean that is the main reason one leave a review in the first place. Good luck guys.

Worst Restaurant ever!!!!! Charged me twice for one order, wouldnt give me my money back after showing them my bank statement. They called their manager, and the manager told them not to give me a refund. They told me their machine always charges everyone twice and comes back the next day if its still there. I told him it takes more than one day for a pending transaction to be processed; so, I come back the next day, it will say the same thing. Furthermore, he started to laugh in my face and tell me there is nothing he could do. The female who charged my card admitted to putting my card in the machine twice but stated that she hurried and canceled the transaction. They have terrible customer service. They didnt even offer me food as compensation for the extra charge. Food in the past has been ok. This is the worst experience Ive ever had, and I am out of $28 for a $14 meal that I never received.

I wanted to try their food because it smelled good, but there are certain foods that I cant eat. So I asked if I could just buy a couple of sides of chicken and they said, we dont do that. I thought maybe they misunderstood what I was asking for so I asked again and they still said we dont do that. The guy didnt even try to find out for me and was very rude. There was also a guy behind the counter on his phone who just looked at me when I walked in and ignored me until the younger rude one walked in. Needless to say they lost my business because of rudeness and refusing to assist me when I have certain dietary restrictions. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This place is a ripoff. All filler and no meat. And they forgot my dumplings and then won t answer the phone when I try to call up there. And they are very staunch on their no refunds policy. Guess I ll have to challenge the charge on my card
