Ew. Just gross. The food is almost too hard to eat. The Tokyo chicken could chip a tooth. The desserts are dry and stale. The table we got was sticky. Im not sure how this place gets so much business. Their selection had more fried foods than actual Chinese dishes. The lo mein was nasty. Best thing I tried was the crab rangoon. I will stick with the buffet off University.

He only eats one dish and they already take the bill, after they put the bill on the table it is embarrassing to go for more food. Before they gave him time to eat 2 dishes and a dessert. It is a clean place, it is very nice and the waiters are very good.

Chinese buffets have been a guilty pleasure of mine for ever. This has been our favorite in Denton for several years. However, we noticed that they have changed up some if the dishes and are missing some of our old favorites like General Tao chicken, mushroom chicken, and the jalapeno chicken was cooked differently. The mongolian stir fry was fresh, but didnt have but 1 noodle to choose from. The ice cream machine was out, and the crawfish was just a bunch of broken claws and 1/2 crawfish. But worst of all, for the first time in my life I found a bug literally running around on my sons plate. It was super tiny, but when you zoom in, it looks like the dressed bug no one wants near any food. We were sitting by a window, so it couldve come from outside somehow. It obviously wasnt cooked in the food because it wouldnt have been alive. The staff apologized and comped our meal, but I just cant imagine going back.

The star of this buffet are sushi bar, mongolian grill and more food variety with plenty of seafood than a typical Chinese buffet; thus the King Buffet. Sushi variety alone is more than worth the meal price. Salmon, tuna, shrimp, white fish, california roll, Inari + many other special rolls are all handmade and monitored at the sushi bar; thus the sushis rice stays moist and dont dry out. Mongolian grill is another awesome addition if you dont overdo the sauce. Six more food zones; stir fry, cold food, deep fried, dessert, fruits and soups+baked items. The more than a typical buffet items are sesame ball, miso soup, special sushi rolls, mongolian grill, clam, baby octopus, chocolate fountain, fried spring roll, tiny bundt cake, swiss roll, pizza, longan, loquats, inari, seaweed salad, udon, etc. As a buffet, service, taste, flavor, and quality met my expectation for the price. The deep fried meat with batter items are all a little bit dry, including the ones used in stir fried dishes, minus 1 star. Other than that, this is a one stop for indecisive eaters, old and young.

Been going to this place for a while and I ve never had a complaint but today I was very disappointed in their customer service. Went today for Mother s Day and when my little sister ask for a refill on her water the waiter first ignored her we thought she didn t hear so she asked again and then said why if you already finish with your food . My friends and I, are from a small town, so, after attending our Circuit Assembly of Jehovahs Witnesses, at our Denton Assembly Hall, we searched online where to eat! We chose BUFFETKING. It was our very first time, to eat here! We were very satisfied, with their excellent Customer Service, and their delicious fresh food, on the buffet! Two of my friends had their food cooked from the Mongolian Grill! They also enjoyed their meal! They remove your used plates right away! We will definitely eat there again!

The food is great I love eating there and everything but the services of some waitresses are poor they force you to give a tip for picking up your plates yet they make weird faces at you all the time one of them tried holding back my sister to make her pay a tip and the other one tried to guilt trip her because my sister refused to leave a tip even though it was my dads card that was paying for the food. I am of Haitian descent from the country of Haiti raised here since 6 years old but I am black. My friends are from Africa the continent we were coming to eat for Easter to this establishment we asked the lady at the front desk we would like to all pay separate because we are separate family s when we were done they tried to over charge us for drinks, tips and extra meals. Now I am a educated professional person so I know when someone is doing me wrong the manager was very extremely rude and didn t want to separate the receipts for us now of it was chilis Applebees or another American restaurant they would have understood the assignment, she kept over charging us and giving us higher receipts finally she gave everyone individual receipts and said twice to us We don t except you black people here . This is exactly why I don t give some of these Chinese restaurants my hard earned money racism should never be accepted under any circumstances no matter how stressful a job can be. You were trying to get over on us and it didn t work it was very highly disrespectful and we will not be eating here. Ever again. The food was not even that good. And I will spread the word since you said You people well is Us people that won t eat here and I will spread the word. If we do not teach our kids to stand up for what is right, then no one will stand up for them or people will just look the other way you cannot look the other way when there is racism involved. I went during a dinner when they had crab. The crab is okay but Ive had better. I like the seasoning they throw on there and how it comes out crispy. It takes forever to eat and I wasnt provided crab utensils. I probably needed to ask for them. But despite all of that, it was good just to be able to eat a lot of crab. Their selection of other foods is pretty descent, too, with the usuals youve come to expect from a chinese buffet in the US. They also have basic sushi and sashimi, which is about as good as what youd find in Kroger. For kids and unadventurous eaters (is Chinese food adventurous eating anymore?), they have pizza and other American fare. Overall, pretty decent and worth going occasionally.

When I asked to be seated at a booth and not a table the lady got an attitude and made a weird face. People ask for certain types of seats all the time. So why the attitude. Also it took 10 minutes to get my drink. Food is also basic and could use more flavor. Also while there it was some nasty idiots at another table that kept blowing their nose. It s an All-you-can-eat Chinese buffet. Beyond that the food was very good. Everything was fresh and the lines never moved too slowly. I tried the fried rice, sesame chicken, fried shrimp, beef and broccoli, egg rolls and crab Rangoon. My only complaint is that I like my rice fried a little darker and the sesame chicken was a little on the chewy side. The star of the show was the sweet tea! My family dined her on a Saturday morning close to opening and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We asked to take a small look at the option provided before being sat and it was no problem at all! Our drinks were refilled quickly and without asking, and our plates were picked up quickly as well. Unfortunately, the food was very under seasoned. Just about everything. I will say though that the Tokyo Chicken and the Fried Rice was very good. Other than that, everything else can be described as just filling. If you have an extra 20-25 minutes drive to Lewisville and go to Regal Buffet. Much better options, even friendlier staff, and they play MUSIC!! I never thought that d be something that bothered me, but my God was it tough to get through this meal. Hope this helps someone!

The waitress came and took drink orders but completely ignored the rest of my group, was extremely rude and lets not talk about the unnecessary face expressions. We may not speak the same languages but facial expressions are universal!! Was not told that gratuity was already included , $61 for 2 adults and 1 child!!! The cashier also copped and attitude when i asked to look and the itemized receipt like I was insulting her and proceeded to holler at our waitress in their language which i find it rude as well because if i go out of my way to not make you feel uncomfortable i expect the same courtesy. Food was good. Had to remind her of Child and Senior eating with group. Correction was made on ticket then she told us to put the tip on the ticket. Uhh Kid-friendliness: Kids in restaurant....not many...
