Ate breakfast due to good reviews. It was terrible! Had migas. Had 1 egg in it and was dry and brown and the ingredients were few and tasteless. Homefries werent hot and black in spots. Chicken fried steak was thin, dry and overcooked. Flour tortilla not fresh. Hard. The waitress was friendly and coffee was good.

Food took forever to come out. We figured maybe the food was worth the wait since it had so many good reviews. We were wrong. I ordered the chicken fried steak. The chicken was thin, the breading was flaky and falling apart it looked like they used a breading that you use for a fish fry. It was also not seasoned and it was chewy. The hash brown was a small scoop, and was burnt. The only good thing was the eggs. For the price it would have been better to go to Cracker Barrel or Dennys. The other ppl that I went with were also displeased with their food. One ordered the huevos ranchero. It said on the menu it comes with tortillas, don t know why the waitress didn t ask what tortilla he wanted when she put in the order. When it finally came out she realized she forgot the tortilla and he had to wait another 30min, and when it finally came out it was one tortilla .and the food was already cold. Not sure how this place got good reviews and was busy maybe because there were no other options in San Angelo.

Roxies Diner is a cute little place thats very laid back, however I paid $40 for my partner and I and we both went home hungry because of the small portions. If Im going to do that, I would have much rather gone to IHOP or Dennys. Great atmosphere, lovely place, just didnt take us to home base.

Wanda was our waitress and she was so attentive and sweet. Her and Linda spoke to all their customers as if they had known them for a long time (which Im sure they have). My daughter and I ordered breakfast and it was so amazing. Waffles with chocolate chips, eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage, tomato slices, coffee and chocolate milk. All of it was a 10/10. We will be back to enjoy some more wonderful food. Thank yall so much.

Rude and belittling. Right when I sat down she took my menu away and said oh you are getting a hotel menu. Then she wouldnt give me a coffee cup. And made me drink out of a Styrofoam cup. Then when I personally asked for a regular cup she said we dont serve regular cups to hotel guests. Then they brought me out a ridiculous food entity that tastes like old leftovers that was warmed up in the microwave. Never comming to this place again. I hope choice hotels reevaluates their choice to do business with this place.

We had the house plate and the Roxie plate! Sooooo good! All homemade. Roxie plate had a fluffy pancake, thick bacon, thick sausage Patty, 2 eggs, thick hand cut potatoes, a homemade biscuit with amazing creamy gravy. The house plate had a thick waffle, hash browns, two eggs, thick bacon, and a thick sausage patty! You will want to come back for sure! Lisa was our waitress, she was So friendly and visited with everyone. Roxie came by and we visited about her late mother s homemade coconut cream pie. There are pictures of them on here, I m sure her mother taught them all how to make these wonderful plates! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I did get a biscuit (3.50) instead of toast got an extra piece of ham (5.50) because I didn t know it was in the (cheese) omelette. And we got extra bacon not sure the up charge for that oh and my husband got a regular cup of coffee (2.49). Our free breakfast with the extras $17.?? Almost $18 for a free breakfast. That tall rude lady I believe is the owner. I would not recommend eating here. The food was just okay!!

Went to eat at Roxies for breakfast as we normally do for my husbands birthday. The food was great per usual, but the service we received was AWFUL!! The coffee was luke warm at best and our waitress never brought out our food or offered refills on coffee, which we wanted. She was too busy taking pictures od the table behind us. Keep in mind there were o ly 3 tables in the whole restaurant being serviced. We ordered 2 small orange juices, 2 coffee, 1 French toast wirh bacon and biscuits with silage gravy and the total bill was $37. While the food is good, the service killed it for me. Never, ever again!!!!!! PS - my waitress was an older lady with short hair and glasses (may have been the manager/owner).

I stayed at the hotel next door and used the breakfast coupon. I was so excited when I sat at the counter for my coffee...then they handed me a small styro-foam cup. The guy next to me started to laugh as we both thought it was a joke. Nope ! I said to the waitress, Im not homeless - I have cash to tip you. How about a real coffee cup. She did so begrudgingly. Breakfast came out freshly served on a paper plate. It was hilarious. This place is a dirty dump!

The owner thought it was ridiculous that my friend asked her to comp her meal and but i had to intervine and tell her that the food wasnt even any good and she got so offended. I ordered migas, Im Mexican.. i know what theyre supposed to look and taste like. I was going to pay for my meal anyway bc i ate it regardless. But the owner lady copped an attitude and threw her hands up and walked away. Very unprofessional and dirty establishment. Go to hidalgos dennys or ihop for your breakfast instead. An excellent, cozy spot for breakfast. There seem to be fewer and fewer honest-to-god diners out there and Roxies is one of the good ones. With charming decor, friendly staff, and a reliable menu, I never leave disappointed. Get in early if you dont like waiting in line though! The place is very popular and frequently packed.

Got the Frenchie, and I loved it honestly! Sausage was kinda cold when we got it, but as far as flavor and service goes everything was great!

Visiting this food desert from Colorado. Actually found a place with a good, healthy breakfast. So far, this is the only place I have found that will actually do egg whites (sorry, I do not want to be a human Hindenburg like the fatasses I see waddling around here). The food was great and the service was as well. A shining light in this pathetic, dumpy little town.

Its ok. I can buy ore Ida fries though for heck of a lot cheaper. Chicken strips were good. Salad was just a lettuce mix.

Havent even had the food yet and based off the rudeness I wouldnt recommend. Extra star for the atmosphere though Edit: added food 2nd edit: this is a hotel restaurant and they have a deal with hotel to offer breakfast to hotel customers. This may just be how they treat the hotel guests it appears. Customer service appears way better for non hotel customers.

The waitress was nice but the food was nowhere to be seen. Lol. I ordered a BLT sandwich and chips. The sandwich was naked. There was nearly nothing on it. Fix it up. Come on youre cooking for paying customers. Put some food on my plate. Charges me $10 for a little piece of bacon one slice of tomato a small piece of lettuce and cheap white bread. And a snack bag of 50 cent potato chips. Im sure the waitress remembers because anyone else would notice the child like meal I was served. I gave 3 stars because my son ate well and the onion rings were great. Make the BLT better!!!! I like BLT sandwiches.
