Went for breakfast/lunch. We ordered the chicken/ apple walnut salad plate. Usually comes with a croissant- but the wife wanted a lettuce wrap. I ordered the Belgian waffle with warm syrup. Plus 2 eggs & sausage patties. All was really good & flavorful. Service was outstanding! Highly recommend! Food

Went on a cooler day. They have outdoor seating so you can bring your dog! The food was super delicious and the service was so nice. They brought out water a disposable bowl and and an umbrella for us. Will be coming back on another cool day! Food

My husband and I have enjoyed eating here several times but the last few times have been a disappointment. The avacado and toast was not toasted but instead tasted like old, dried bread and the eggs were not cooked medium as ordered but were very runny. Today we ate there and the home fries tasted like they had been cooked earlier and half warmed up, leaving them dry and tasteless. And my husband s omelette was overcooked, which always leaves things too dry. Such a disappointment because the people are nice and the location is convenient so I think we re going to try some new places.

To be called the great egg these people dont know how to cook a medium egg... The first ones had runny whites and the second was done but still not sure they flipped it over was still runny.... Medium eggs should be flipped and the yellow done around the edges and then runny in the middle.... Also the potatoes were cold and barely brown a few were undercooked... I cant say I would eat here again.

Worst breakfast ever. Husband had croissant ham and egg breakfast with country potatoes. Nasty Cold, undercooked and sub par. I had typical breakfast eggs bacon English muffins and the most awful country potatoes. Service was great food was disgusting. Food came out so fast and was cold like it was pre cooked a few days ago.

Everything was absolutely fresh, well-seasoned and delicious. I m from Milwaukee Wisconsin, my first time here! I had ordered the Chicken and Avocado Omelette. So great, I literally had to send a compliment back to the chef. Tried this place for the first time & I was definitely impressed. I loved that they had other options on food other then the traditional breakfast items. The chicken apple walnut sandwich was light, flavorful & fresh. The dressed greens where delicious. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and the red sauce was super flavorful. The portion sizes where perfect. The staff was very friendly & attentive. I highly recommend trying their fresh juices. It definitely sets this place higher on quality compared to other breakfast spots in the area.

I look this place up on Google maps it looked really tasty so I ordered the Corned beef hash in eggs I wanted a total of 5 eggs Sunny side up with the yoaks still running on top when I got my to go order all of the eggs were dry there were no running eggs at all Really the only park to this for me was that it was a lot of food there was a lot of Corn beef hash and a total of 5 eggs that was a lot of food. Definitely recommend checking your food before leaving the building to make sure that it is cooked properly the way that you asked for it. Especially for my 1st time ever being a customer of theirs and never trying their food it was good but I was not very happy with them not cooking my eggs properly theres a certain flavour that goes with yolk and corn beef hash those who like it know what I am talking about. What I tried again yes I Would only because my family did not get to try it this time around with me.

I had an incredible dining experience! I ordered my favorite dish - French toast with sausage, and it tasted absolutely amazing. The dish was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were spot on. What added to the experience was the kind and attentive service I received from my waiter, Jordan. He made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable and pleasant. However, I realized that I had forgotten to bring cash to tip him. So, I quickly ran back home and came back to give him the tip he deserved. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I will definitely be going back there soon.

I love Eggs Benedict the traditional way and decided to step out on a limb and order crab Benedict and it was fantastic! Great service from Jordan! I ve never dined in but on a busy work day if I am craving breakfast I will usually always order The Great Egg for delivery. The food is always hot and fresh when it arrives. There are alot of breakfast cafes in Denton, and I have eaten at many of them. I received a coupon for a free meal for this one so decided to try it. They had a good varity of choices of dishes, focusing on eggs, but also lunch choices, at a reasonable price. But what impressed me the most was their attention and obvious care for their customers, the soft music, and joyous atmosphere. It was peaceful, not frantic, which is how I like to start my day.

My wife and I decided to try the Great Egg based on the reviews. It was a 20-25 minute drive for us, but we we like trying and supporting local restaurants. The server was excellent. The restaurant is very inviting. Since the reviews said the pancakes were excellent, we decided to order a single pancake along with our breakfasts. Our breakfasts were served, but no pancake. Our server said he would bring it shortly. We had finished our breakfasts before the pancake was served. The server apologized for the delay. We each took one bite of the pancake and it was absolutely awful. It was undercooked and had a bad taste. Our server took it back and took the $8.99 charge for the single pancake off of our bill. The breakfasts were okay, but nothing exceptional. Based on our experience with the pancake, we wont be making the drive to the Great Egg again.

Really good food, especially the Mexican Skillet and our waitress Yesenia was EXCELLENT! I commented on how she was able to quickly walk to our table and pour coffee in a cup at the same time. Yesenia was always attentive and kept our glasses full. My only complaint might be the coffee was stronger than any coffee Ive ever had which she has no control over. So happy to discover this place! We walked in and turned to each other and said one thing: Egg & I and smiled with hopeful anticipation. We were not disappointed. It is a former Egg & I that has not only retained a majority of menu items, but also the taste and quality. My son was ecstatic over the ranch potatoes that were not only perfect, but also plentiful! They are the same potatoes that we have enjoyed at various Egg & I locations until the chained disappeared a couple years ago. Our server was so friendly and attentive. Felt welcome and valued even on a busy weekend. As with all the breakfast / brunch places that we find, we wish it was open for dinner as well. Im sure were not the only fans on breakfast-for- dinner.

food was good but the server Hispanic older guy wants to give you what he wants bc they said I was asking for extras and I never want to pay wasn t true if I did I can t read people mind if I asked for something I spect they can put it on the ticket they I assume without tell me I ll be extra for what i ask they never say anything in till I went last time a older guy Hispanic was server I asked for pancakes with blueberries and cinnamon when they cooked and server with mix berries on top after cooked he brought me a container with cinnamon intead put it in the pancake when the cooked. Come with hash browns I asked can you give me greens then he when off on me saying he was not a little boy I been working here for 15 years don t play with me I say I m not playing I spect for what I ask and you are the server and I will pay I never ask for free that was my only time changing my order I take care a older man and used to go breakfast with him and I was trying to tell the manager what s happen and this guy didn t let me talk she say he s my best server and next time I will served you I told her is not going to be a next time. I have witnessed. I ask another lady to take over with my table I m so disappointed with that guy and the manager never had issues before with server and I try not to ask for anything in less I don t have utensils my elder person I take care say we not going there anymore. Look like they confuse you with some else. I hope no one go true this. I not normally do reviews but I had to express they did me wrong last time I NEVER will GO BACK AGAIN !

I ordered off DoorDash and it was the worst breakfast ever!! My potatoes were soggy and undercooked, bacon was almost burnt, biscuit was hard and dry it crumbles when I took a bite and the gravy was lumpy and tasteless the only thing decent was the waffles. First and last time ordering from this place!!

It was a party of 20 so the following remarks only pertain to this visit. In the past it has been excellent for a party of 2. The omelet was dry and if cheese had been added I never tasted it nor did the folks around me. The waitstaff were fantastic!

Always a consistently good breakfast from Eggs Benedict to Belgian Waffles but the greatest part is Joaquin! He s sure to catch your eye when you walk in and see him buzzing around with a pot of coffee and a big smile! He provides the service you d expect at a high end restaurant at a breakfast spot with a local feel!

We ordered off Uber eats and it was horrible. The omelette had raw spinach and the eggs were like a sponge. The entire meal was awful except the English muffins those were decent. Seriously all around bad.
