Yesterday was my first time going to Chubz Spudz in Denton. It was AMAZING and so delicious! I had a brand new combo called The bigg back snack. The price was very affordable. Ok what can I say unbelievable food like cooked and seasoned to perfection I cant get over how well the brisket is its spectacular!!!! Chubz Spudz has by far the friendliest staff I ve ever met! I got 2 tacos and a brisket sandwich (But my bf had the sandwich). The tacos were crazy!!! They were crunchy in the right places, full of flavor, and everything meshed together well. I highly recommend everyone support this small business! We decided to try a new (to us) place for dinner. Chubz Spudz popped up and we went for it. The wait was really long, but ABSOLUTELY worth it! Holy smokes this stuff is yummy! Wow! What a great hidden gem. I had the brisket spud and ribs. That was the biggest potato! The ribs were fall off the bone tender. The owner was friendly and appreciative of our business. This is a food truck and there is no seating so you can get it to go. My friend and I used the tailgate of my truck and next time I might bring some lawn chairs. Come check it out and give some love to small local businesses! Also the price for what I got was $21, but it s about 3 meals worth. They also have family style orders as well.

When I tell y all this food is sent from heaven, I mean it! I found this place when I was looking for places to order on DoorDash. The reviews were so good that I decided to just go up there because everyone speaks so highly of the owners. Be prepared to wait about 15 minutes, but it s worth every minute sat!! I got 2 of the brisket tacos and a brisket bbq potato. It s freaking huge! Been looking forward to trying Chubz Spudz, and today was the day. It did not disappoint. Best BBQ Ive had in a very long time. Brisket tacos are on another level. The potato is as big as your head with a TON of brisket and toppings. The sauce is delicious. Husband said ribs were fantastic. Portions were huge - Ill be enjoying leftovers this week. Owner has a passion for cooking, and you can tell in each and every bite. His food truck is super clean/well taken care of, and his smoker was busy smoking up more delicious eats. People say that UNT and TWU makes up the town of Denton. However, after having some Smoked Chicken Tacos, I m convinced that Chubz Spudz owns this city. The ribs were flavorful and falling off the bone, the brisket tacos were actually full of brisket and the toppings on those were delicious, and that potato is just spectacular. Steve had a dream to open a food business! He did, despite his detractors! Upon ordering at his food truck in front of the Eskimo Hut on Sunset Blvd, (Corner of Sunset and Alice off University Dr.) I took the time to get to know him, as he was preparing our food. We stopped here today for the first time when our day off without kids was derailed by a sick kiddo. We got a meal that had a little of everything...ribs, brisket, tacos, bread, a huge baked potato, and smoked chicken. The price is EXCELLENT. I dont even normally like brisket or BBQ style tacos but these were seriously amazing. I would go back just for the tacos alone. The potato was buttery, delicious and loaded down with goodness! Also had 2 meat plate, the ribs were disgusting & also Had a burnt taste as if it was sitting out for a while & then Recooked upon ordering. The links were cut up as if I was feeding them to my 2 year old niece & had NO taste. The only thing that was good was the baked beans. Everything else was TRASH :(

This is hands down the best food truck in town. I tried them about a week ago. Was amazing. Going to pick up our third order from there tonight. Love giving my money to local people. If you have been on the fence about it just try it. Those brisket tacos are AMAZING!! Don t forget the spuds. I won t order a loaded potato from anywhere else. And you definitely get your monies worth. You won t be hungry after eating here.

Just a big bland potato with what tasted like boiled meat with bbq sauce on it with a half pound of cheese on top. No sour cream, chive s nothing! Just meat and cheese. So mad I spend 20 bucks on this!!
