This is indeed a happy, warm, cheerful place. There is so much glass and natural light allowing views of wooded acres behind the building. Lunch was delicious..catfish, sweet potato fries, key lime pie, all high end restaurant quality, served on linen tablecloths. Best of all, residents and staff were friendly and and welcoming and obviously enjoyed being there. The grounds are wheelchair friendly, with an outdoor kitchen and gardens. Pets are allowed too! This is a special place, similar to a resort but with able helping hands whenever needed.

We love this place for our dad. The place is very bright, open floor plan, easy to walk to meals and has windows in each room looking out at nature. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs. The place is very clean and doesnt have that smell like other facilities. They are always having events for the residents, providing special activities, ice cream socials, and groups bringing treats and entertainment in. The staff there is awesome as well. Very attentive and caring. The communication has been a two way street with the directors and they are always keeping us informed. They have a Facebook page also, that keeps us informed of what is happening. I highly recommend!

The heartbeat is strong at Fairhaven in Denton. Many times I have visited and recieved warm friendly welcomes from staff and residents. There is a genuine heartfelt compassion, care and concern for all. The staff is appreciative of innovative resources to add value to the community and the people who call Fairhaven home. When looking for a place to thrive and call home, Fairhaven is a great choice. Stop by there whether you need to move today or in the future. I toured Fairhaven for a loved one. We fell in love with the beautiful remodel and the history. The lunch looked and smelled amazing. Although, the building speaks for itself, I was most impressed with the interaction between the residents and staff members. Everyone was truly happy. All of the residents in this community were clean and well put together. The staff including the office staff were very warm and welcoming. Especially considering that we just dropped in. Thank you Fairhaven for your hospitality.

I came and toured this facility and I immediately felt welcomed . It has beautiful mid century modern decor and friendly staff. The community sales director Robyn was extremely helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. If you are looking for a place for your loved one make sure to stop by and ask for Robyn she will not disappoint.

Fairhaven is a clean, well-lit, well decorated facility with spacious rooms, lots of activities, and a friendly, efficient staff. These were our observations as we toured the facility. It would be a nice place to live we need assistance.

After one year of my aunt living at the facility, they increased the rent from $3,020 to $4,200. It was necessary to move her immediately to Brookdale that charges a similar rent $3,200. However, they took an additional months rent out of her account 20 days early and I am unable to get them to refund the money. Taking advantage of the elderly is unacceptable..

Fairhaven continues to have significant turnover at all levels and operates with skeleton crew that can t possibly provide the care for residents that you pay for. Try and get a family reference before you make a decision to move your loved one there. Good luck with that!

Please do not place your loved one in this facility. They were severely under staffed all the time and especially at night. New employees would come and go weekly. My fathers medication was never correct or even given at the same times each day. The facility looks very nice as it has been redecorated but is run very poorly. The front door is kept locked all day and there is never anyone sitting at the front desk to let you in. This is a very dangerous situation.

Beautiful building, very thoughtfully done and wonderful staff. I am there frequently for my business and its always refreshing and airy and bright in there. Just the right environment for your parents / loved ones where they can feel safe and thrive. Suzanna and Ray and the rest of the team are considerate and awesome!! If I had my parents looking for a assisted living, Fairhaven would be top of our list.

I visited Fairhaven of Denton which reopened in 2020. One of the first residents that moved in was the director of resident services in the 90s. They did an amazing job preserving the history of the building that was built in 1965 and it s something you have to see in person. I read an article about this property when I got home and learned that in 1956, residents in Denton Texas began a vision for a retirement home located in Denton. Their vision was to make it Fair for seniors and a Haven for residents, to that s how it got it s name.

We moved my mother in law to FairHaven in October from another local community to be closer to us. I am in the healthcare industry and knew what I was seeing at the previous facility wasn t how it was suppose to be, if I m being honest. But once she was at FairHaven and in Rae s care, I knew I could exhale and stop worrying. Rae fixed things before we even could ask. I loved the communication and the responsiveness of the staff. My mother in law loved the food and even bragged. Total opposite of what we had experienced at previous facility. And when my mother in laws started to decline and hospice was called in, the love and care that was provided was amazing. We couldn t have gone through such a difficult time without Rae and FairHaven by our side.

There are no words to describe the wonderful care my father received at Fairhaven. All the staff, nurses and management really go out of they way to make everyone feel like they are home on day one. Anything my Dad needed they were there to help with and (even though he is a hard nut to crack) they got my Dad to smile and laugh on many many occasions! Everyone that works at Fairhaven are really angles from heaven. Special thanks to Rae, Suzanna, Anya and Sandy for the extra time you gave to my father - can not thank you enough!

The facility was restored and updated to perfection keeping it s original charm. They have wonderful outdoor amenities and beautiful walking trails that are so inviting. The staff is fantastic and so kind and caring! I could not have found a better place for my mom! I love Fairhaven!!

The facility and staff at Fairhaven are nothing short of amazing. First, they made what could have been a difficult transition for my mother and our family as a whole very easy and comforting. From my first visit, they treated me and my mother like family and now, almost 4 months later, continue to provide her exceptional care. An for our family, unequaled communication, transparency, and support. I truly can not imagine my mom in any other facility, and for that, I am so very thankful for Rae and the entire team at Fairhaven Denton!

Fairhaven is a beautiful and historic assisted living property. The attention to detail in restoring this property has truly made it a unique and beautiful space. The living spaces are beautiful and new while staying true to the mid century modern style. The mature landscape is stunning and the outdoor spaces literally evoke peacefulness. Fair haven is a beautiful property. All of the windows and the lightning make it feel so warm and cozy. It has a peaceful feeling with beautiful Magnolia trees. I know the residents will enjoy the atmosphere. The studios are beautiful with many upgrades. Thank you for the wonderful tour Suzanna. I can t wait for the grand opening!

This historical and beautiful property is being completely restored! It is gorgeous inside. The trees surrounding the facility have all been preserved and several outdoor seating areas are peaceful and refreshing. Easy access to each area will encourage outdoor activities. What a delightful property!

The property is beautiful. I was able to get a sneak peek of the facility before it is open for residents and I was impressed with all the beautiful landscapes. The studio apartments are filled with natural light and have a super cute kitchenette. I love the sliding doors to the bathroom which saves space and is easy for seniors to open. The outdoor spaces are wonderful and I can envision residents really enjoying those areas.

Somehow they have managed to keep the traditional Denton feel while updating the building with modern conveniences. The outdoor patio and multiple decks were inviting and well-planned. I cannot wait to see the finished project!

Fairhaven is so beautifully unique. The environment is so home-like and the manicured outdoor spaces are like no other community. The amenities are amazing, having fresh food makes a huge difference in well being and overall experience. The rooms are just enough to feel at home while the common areas encourage socialization and participation. It s a perfect fit for those who love the charm of Denton, so much character!
