I recently got two cakes for my kids birthday, and they were a big hit! The cakes were super soft, moist, and full of flavor. Everyone at the party loved them, especially the kids! We ordered two pc Chicken Mandi and one Paneer Mandi. The Chicken Mandi was not as good as it used to be; they seem to have compromised on quality. The Paneer Mandi was even worse the paneer was poorly cooked and felt rubbery, not soft at all. Overall, a disappointing experience, and I won t be coming back.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your establishment. Today, we ordered Mysore bondas from your restaurant, and upon bringing them home, we discovered a wire embedded in one of the bondas as our children started eating. We returned to the restaurant to address this serious issue and were met with a concerning lack of response. Instead of acknowledging the problem or addressing our concerns about the quality of the food, the staff offered us another item, which we declined. Furthermore, the staffs attitude towards our concerns was dismissive and unresponsive. This experience has been both shocking and disappointing. We had high expectations for your restaurant, but this incident, coupled with the inadequate response from your team, has led us to conclude that we will no longer be visiting your establishment. I urge you to take this matter seriously and review the quality control procedures in place to prevent such incidents in the future.

Problem is with the management. Management should hire enough people for the services. Management seems not valuing customer time especially I felt it when I order a dish and did wait for 30mins yet no one took care of the order unless I reminded them again. In response I was told there s only one member to serve at 2 places in side kitchen and outside chat which is ridiculous. Also I felt the price ranges are too high in the location probably seems everyone following the same. Anyway I ve canceled my order though because I don t like people who do not respect the customers time. I recommend people who come here should watch for there time if it s valuable. For me my time is value since I ve enough experiences with Indian restaurants so I ll spend some time to dive deep to find how these guys are charging prices at 0 maintenance.

The food here causes bloating and uneasines. We had Dosa and the Aloo masala they gave with dosa is raw! The potato is litreally Raw! We have also encountered a WIRE in the dosa. When we brought to their attention the service person offered us a Biryani. We got Lollipop biryani and this is also very bad and too much flour! The meat in it is black i think it is not fresh. Me and my wife have suffered after eating that. The chef in there has taken the people for Granted! The quality is deteriorating at a drastic level! Visited Desi District in Little Elm and ordered the Bahubali Mandi with juicy goat and chicken. The dish was really good and huge, easily enough for 4 people. However, the rice was a bit hard. We recently ordered a baby reveal cake from Desi District Little Elm for one of our colleague and the cake was truly exceptional. The cake was a masterpiece, it was delivered as informed within very short time, also kept attention to detail to the cake (Special Thanks to the Chef). This place is not worth the money. The food is okay, but not memorable. The service is horrible. They are low class when it comes to plates and utensils. The water cups are the kiddie Styrofoam cups. Well this is a great place to grab food .. all though it is surrounded by new Indian restaurants opened and very close by it kept it consistency and taste we usually get food every week. only issue I see that they don t pack the Togo boxes properly and driving back home the boxes shakes and come sideways and I see all liquid from the curry topples out and spills every time .. this happened for me 4 times and I still see the same issue .. every time I inform them but no change in packaging .. if any one trying to order take out or Togo just remind them to plastic wrap the Togo boxes so food does not spill out And also the front staff is really good A must visit place . We went for dinner to have their chats, regretted it so much. We ordered vada pav, samosa chaat, papdi chaat, aloo tikki chaat and rasmalai pastry. Everything other than the pastry sucked. Their vada pav was so cold and rough, lacked butter and the vada was like a potato bajji with no spice or flavor. The chaat s lacked salt, spicy. It was too sour, sweet and loaded with yogurt. Had been to our friends place in Little Elm and we found this place in our way back. The ambiance is lovely with murals on the wall depicting street food. The chat station and bakery section was always busy. We tried the butter bun, which was awesome with butter , sugar cream, tutti fruity . Then we had potato bajji and masala vadai which was ok. The vada was not the best but was nice. We had tried the grilled chicken mandhi family pack to go as dinner, the rice was flavorful but the pieces were too small ( they say 3 pieces but were really small ones, considering the price point ) , was truly on the lighter side on a proportion to rice. I have decided to revise my original rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. Once again, it appears that the majority of Indian restaurants in this area have experienced a decline in quality. It seems as though they believe that food quality and taste are no longer important since they offer a multitude of options. The snacks are satisfactory, mainly because most of them are fried, and the bakery items are decent. However, this place, similar to many others in the area, excessively uses food coloring. It is worth noting that many of these places are operated by students or young individuals from India who may lack experience in the food industry in Western countries. Perhaps it would be beneficial for them to consider hiring someone with experience in restaurants in America. By doing so, there is a possibility that the overall quality of the food, cleanliness, and the establishment itself may improve. As an individual who genuinely enjoys Indian food, I have made the decision to abstain from visiting Indian restaurants in the foreseeable future due to the prevalence of these practices.

My fiancé, my sister and I popped in here just to check it out and ended up ordering the chicken biryani, chili chicken, and my sister got the onion samosas. All delicious! The chicken in the chicken biryani is so tender and the rice is so flavorful! Some of the best biryani I ve had. The chili chicken was also delicious as well as the onion samosas which were on the spicy side but still ! Ordered from this place, 3 times in a row and a disappointment every single time. Ordered the same dish every time. The first time, there was no flavor in the noodles, no veggies and perhaps 2-3 pieces of chicken. The side dish wasn t delivered and they didn t even try to notify me that they don t have what I ordered. In case you have not eaten some colorful food and eventually seen it next day in a colorful pot then this is the place to be. We ordered today chicken tikka, paneer butter masala, chicken tikka masala, naan and couple more items togo. Food tasted OK but my fingers changed their colors and did not loose the food color even after washing with soap. Tikka was medium spicy and PBM CTM was OK and colorful. Lollypop was horrible ...the wrapper looked like artificial shell on top of chicken Not coming back again, thank u Happy Coloring peoples stomach

We ordered Juicy chicken Mandi and mutton pulav- Mandi was ok with less rice not at all worthy with the price - mutton pulav is not good at all no taste and too oily. I won t recommend mutton pulav at all - dessert we tried jalebi - it was so crunchy and didn t even feel like jalebi at all hope they improve

The service is pathetic in this place. The guy didn t give the regular chutneys with the samosa. When I went back and complained he only gave me the imli chutney and said the green one doesn t come with the samosas. When on earth this changed. I don t know how will I explain to my friends why I don t have the green chutney.

We ordered chicken and mutton pressure cooker biriyani. Chicken tasted average, whereas with mutton biriyani rice was undercooked, they replaced it with a new one when taken to their attention, but the replaced cooker has NO mutton in it. Horrible experience with this dish. We had no choice and they replaced it with mutton dum biriyani, this time meat is undercooked. Not worth waiting for 45min for pressure cooker biriyani here.

I like their snacks, fast food, and starters. I got disappointed with recent take out of Family pack Spl chicken Biryani. Biryani wasnt well cooked. The rice was hard, and chicken pieces didnt seem fresh. I was initially satisfied with chicken starter and curry, which comes with the family pack. But, the main course Biryani spoiled the whole experience. They didnt take the feedback well over the phone. I will never dare to take Biryani from here anymore.

Awesome food and environment from praveen ! Praveen makes the best spicy chicken dish ! I had panipuri asked for sweet chutney the chutney was just sour. I could not feel any flavor but spicy chili. And the ambience- there is no ambience. This restaurant used to be a good place to sit and eat but after expanding this place looks really bad. The entry door is about shatter any minute. Ordered mutton biriyani and it had no flavor. Not event enough salt. This is the worst mutton biriyani i ever had. You should learn how to make biriyani from curry district @ 11851 FM 423 #200, Little Elm, TX 75068. The service was another story, i asked for take out order and the cashier gives dine-in and when the food was ready i was surprised and told her i asked for take out and she keeps arguing with me. Another word of advice to Desi Districts - Do not ask customers phone number unless you really need to. Frankly, I ve NEVER written an online review on a business even when I get bad service. I left the store less tan 20 minutes ago. I ordered Chicken Bryani for my daughter and decided to add another order. Surprisingly, two people called me about my order almost simultaneously. There was hardly any chicken and mostly bone in my order. I am yet to have a real bite of chicken and am disappointed. Imagine eating Chicken Bryani and all you get his bones in your mouth.
