Mr. Willis was responsive, and efficient. This case had been in the hands of several attorneys prior. He asked a fair wage for difficult work. He gave wise counsel, and gave it to me straight. The legal theory was sound, and the execution was to standard. I will continue to recommend him to friends and family, and have only heard good reviews back from them.

Horrible experience during divorce had to get a new attorney and then they refused to refund my money, and they did absolutely nothing. Be careful with this office if going through a divorce.

Just had my total tax return garnished because RT Willis allowed an enforcement hearing to be ruled against me for back child support. Long story short. I lost my job in April 2020, a notice was filed .. with the courts for a change in employment. My divorce was finalized June 1st 2020. Rusty didn t file my modification for child support until August of 2020 even though it should have been done back in April or before the divorce was finalized. He dropped the ball on ever getting my modification done or in front of the judge with a court date.Then when he did finally get in front of the judge he didn t have the correct paperwork filed and the judge didn t hear the case. Complete negligence. He blamed it on the Judge and how no one liked that court. Feb 2021 rolls around I m still required to pay 2000 dollars a month, 15k plus dollars in arrears, I had an enforcement hearing held against me and ruled against me plus attorneys fees. 7k dollars in with his retainer fees and nothing was done regarding my modification. Confronted him multiple times regarding how unsatisfactory his representation was. He admitted to his negligence yet still did nothing monetary wise to make things right with me. This is the second review that I ve made because the first review I made he threatened me and told me he d sue me if I didn t take it down. Definitely don t waste your time and money with this lawyer.

Im so sure of myself and this attorneys ability that I have decided to pre-post. Continental Builder on Lindita in Houston gave me a contract to build a church then cancelled it because he was unable to take advantage of me. I have hired R. Willis Deer Park contract lawyer to recoup the money taken from me by Mr. Niyi from Nigeria.

This guy is an awesome lawyer and his staff is great. I faced prison time. After searching for lawyers all over the Houston area, I chose RT Willis on a prayer, literally. And I am blown away by the outcome. No jail time. No probation. Not even time served. No charge against me! After attending anger management classes, I am a free man. RT Willis, thank you.

This law office is completely out of whack! The women in that office made my son take defensive driving course for a non moving violation when all he needed to do is pay a fine! MR. WILLIS, YOU NEED NEW STAFF MEMBERS THAT CAN HELP YOU KEEP THE REPUTATION YOU HAD NOT THE ONE YOURE GETTING! WILL NEVER USE THEM EVER AGAIN! UNLESS HE GETS NEW OFFICE PERSONELL! * AND AFTER I SPOKE TO THE JUDGE MYSELF AND TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM, THEY STILL CALLED TO SAY WE HAVE COURR ON JAN. 25, 2019! GET YOUR PAPERWORK TOGETHER LADIES! He took my money a year and half ago and has done NOTHING! I have asked over the past year for him to file something or give me my money back and is all i get from the receptionist is I will take a message. Its always an excuse. The court house flooded, the froze has everything messed up with court. I was in the office many times they are nice and friendly i just dont understand why nothing was ever done with my case. I highly recommend you DO NOT use Mr. Willis. He will only rob you of your money with false promises.

Horrible service !!! Beware of this attorney he took our money told us we had a case and we ended up doing all the work and when we called his office several times we were told he would return our calls and never did . When we did go to court he stood there like he didn t know what he was doing and let the other attorney show him up. He told us there s a freeze on the property but I found out the property was sold and the people already moved in. He did absolutely nothing for us and took our money and the office personnel are very unprofessional. Beware if you are considering using this attorney. If I could give 0 stars I would !!! And as to your reply below, I WAS a client came to all the meetings , I was NOT from the opposing party like you are trying to claim and YES I was in court with my Uncle and YES my sister and I DID PAY YOU !!! Sure as hell have a recipe from your office for someone not to have paid you !!! Want me to post a copy ? Because I can !! And get what I wanted from an estate ? You mean you told us we had a cut and dry case and we got NOTHING and you insisted that if we gave you more MONEY we would win and you told us you put a freeze on the property and there was no freeze on the property and the house was sold . We ask you what the judges decision was and you told us YOU DIDNT KNOW and the next thing we know is the house is sold and you kept telling us we had a case you just needed more money. Now how do we have a case when the house was already sold and the judge had already settled the case that you didn t bother to let us know about ???!!! And YES you are right about one thing and one thing only that I am MAD by you leading us on while you did NOTHING !!!! Like I said and I will say it again BEWARE if you are considering using him. Looks like more BAD reviews than GOOD posted recently ... GUESS THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF !!! And I might add if you read the reviews there is always the same excuse as a response to all the bad reviews , you would think if the place was that good they would have more professional people working there with better knowledge on how to respond to a complaint instead the responses sound very immature and unprofessional.

This lawyer does just enough so you can t get your money back then it s a total dead end after that. I would not recommend him to anyone. I was trying to get my name changed and he couldn t make it happen. RT went to court unprepared, blew the case then spun me around in circles for months waisting my time. I had no choice but to cut my losses with RT and use a competent lawyer who could actually get things done. My name is officially changed now thanks to a better Houston lawyer. I chose RT Willis because I live in deer park and because his low retainer cost but just remember you get what you pay for. In my opinion there are much better lawyers with refundable retainers so you get back what they don t use. I basically threw away over a thousand dollars using this lawyer. I can not stress it enough you get what you pay for so please be aware and proceed with caution. I would look elsewhere!

We used Mr. Willis for our adoption and other general legal council. Adoption is a long and confusing process, and he broke it down step by step and walked us through everything. That kind of council really helps in a situation that can last a year or more. He didnt talk above my head or anything either, he just gets straight to the point.

This lawyer is a crook. They told me I didnt have to show up for court, that they would handle everything. I ended up getting a warrant for my arrest. They never called or sent me a letter in the mail to keep me up to date on my case. They ended up withdrawing from my case and I didnt even know it. I tried to get my money back but yall know how that goes. I am very pissed off!
