Its an interesting and strange place) My boyfriend made a joke about this art object. But I was curious to see it live and appreciate the full scale. An interesting but a bit strange location. Its unexpected to see a giant eye in the city center.

It was super cool to see! We got some great pictures to the left side of the fence. BUT, we couldn t go in or get close. We had no idea that it was on private property. There was a private party entering the grounds when we arrived, and I ve never felt more unwelcome in my life. The guests and security were very rude to us. Over all a cool eye ball, just don t expect to go close to it.

Amazing artwork!! It was closed at the time of our visit because they were cutting the bushes. But even from a distance, the intricate details and lifelike nature of the eyeball were truly mesmerizing. Its a shame we couldnt get closer to fully appreciate the artists skill and dedication to their craft. Hopefully, well have the opportunity to visit again when the bushes are no longer obstructing our view.

The Giant Eyeball in downtown Dallas is definitely a unique sight. It s a quirky piece of public art that stands out and adds character to the area. While it s not exactly a must-see for everyone, it s worth a quick visit if you re in the neighborhood and want to check out something a bit out of the ordinary. It s definitely photogenic, so bring your camera. Overall, it s an interesting stop, but don t go out of your way if you re short on time.

They say that the definition of art is something that fulfills no other purpose other than a piece of art. Well, I guess this fits that definition! Modeled after the artist s own eyeball, he admits that it has no significance. He just wanted to create a structure that stands out, and I d say he succeeded! Props to Tony Tassett for creating what may be downtown Dallas s ultimate conversation piece!

The Giant Eyeball is a striking and surreal art installation located in downtown Dallas, Texas. Created by artist Tony Tasset, this 30-foot-tall fiberglass sculpture is an exact replica of a human eye, complete with intricate details like veins and a bright blue iris. The sculpture is both fascinating and eerie, drawing the attention of passersby with its sheer size and hyper-realistic appearance. It has become a popular spot for photos and a quirky landmark in the city. While it may not be everyones taste, the Giant Eyeball is undeniably a unique and memorable piece of public art.
