Ladies watch your drinks here, even from bartender! My sister and I were slipped something into our drink here. Loved the bar and pool until then, unfortunately now we feel very unsafe there.

When I first moved to Addison I wasnt sure what would become my home bar but sharkys is leaps and bounds above the rest in the area. The prices are beyond fair. The staff is attentive and works together to make sure even on the busiest nights things are run smoothly. The food here is better than your average food by far and Id compare some of their items to the restaurants around and Id bet theyd win. With the amount of things you can do for entertainment within the bar combined with the overall atmosphere and vibe, if you are in the area, Sharkys is a must!

Drove 20mins to check this place out and it didn t disappoint! It s a description of a dive bar and I love it. Love the atmosphere, Wait time for the pool tables wasn t bad at all and watching people sing karaoke was fun. Kitchen stays open late and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back. Cheap drinks and billiards,what more do you want?

Love this place!! My brother is a regular, and now that I am only 20 mins away, I will be a new regular. The owners are amazing the staff equally. I went with 2 friends to eat some bar food and play pool. It took over 5+ minutes to be acknowledged and were then told it was a private club so no one under 21 is allowed to be inside. Understandable, but it should have been made clear either on the website or when you immediately walk in(Like Fox & Hound).

Did not know the sharkys was a private club, had to sign up to play. Pool. Was visiting from out of town and luckily was able to get a day pass to play. The drinks were were okay at best. However, not exactly what I was asking for. The pool tables are clean and neat which is nice but it was empty and I had figured this would be a busy place due to pictures I saw online. They do have a corner of other games as well and theres dart boards too. Okay for a quick stop. However, I would not make it a true night out. I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. Pretty quick attention to get a pool table on a Friday night. Everyone was so attentive that if I could give this place 27 stars I would . Wow factor was a success. The pool tables are maintained with moderation. Not super highlight but well enough to hold hospitality in hand. Be back soon .

I went for their pool but stayed for their brisket! If you want a drink, play some pool and have a bite then you should check this place out. All their food is solid but dang, that brisket is legit! They also have other fun free games, well priced menu and drinks. My only gripe is the atmosphere is a little grungy but everything else makes it worth the visit.

If I could leave no stars I would. It hurts because we visited several times within the last year and always had an amazing time with Alyssa (I think thats how its spelled). We came as a team from our office so much we said it was like our CHEERS. But this past Thursday was absolutely HORRIBLE. When we initially walked in everything was good but then it took 30 minutes for us to even be addressed anymore to place food orders after appetizers. When we tried to get the young ladys attention to order she ignored us several times and when she finally came it was with bad attitude. So we ordered to go. We asked for our tickets so that when the food was ready we could sign and go. She brought them and literally stood there staring over our shoulders and rushed us to sign them. We told her we would after we got our food. She then asked for the first time if we wanted more water and when we said no, she slammed the cup on the table and walked off. After waiting another 30 minutes and getting attitude from her we still had no food so we just left and we still paid for food we never got. She ruined our favorite spot to visit after work as a team but we will not be back. I guess we were just not the right color or part of their click you dont fit.

I guess if your not park of their regular click crowd you will not get waited on. Set at the bar for over 10 minutes no acknowledgment. A party of three walk in and immediately they were waited on. Visiting Dallas over the last week of 2019, I wasnt too familar with local bars in the area. Took a chance on Sharkys and it was awesome. They have multiple games set up including darts (ask the bartender for darts) and pool. The jukebox can be controlled via smart phone app and has a great selection. Drinks are seem decently priced and the bartender was super friendly as well.

Owner will call the cops on you if you are drunk. She will cause a scene and yell at customers. She was horribly rude to many patrons who came in, including an older couple. I don t know why she owns a bar if she doesn t want to be around people who drink and get loud. I wouldn t go here, there are plenty of places to have a few drinks and play pool.

If you are a regular it is likely a great place. I waited at the bar, played two songs on jukebox while waiting no less the five bar staff saw me and kept either working or talking to regulars......ended up leaving. So if this in not your regular bar DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! I know i travel for a living but christ this was insanity. WASTE OF TIME. Albeit i did get to listen to two songs......lol be blessed. Well may be not five bartenders since they were so specific in their response but five people were behind the counter setting glasses, loading the coolers and one big guy in a red shirt stood 5 ft away talking to a customer about something on the tablet, so still a waste of anyones time.

Not the friendliest bar if you re a woman. I was there for a friend s birthday tonight and some random old guy in the bar started berating me and cussing at me as I was taking selfies. I ignored him but he kept going, I turned around and asked him to leave me alone. The lady next to him said he was drunk, but still. Not cool. She came over and told me the horrible things he was saying about me. I asked one of the guys there if he worked there because I wanted someone, ANYONE to get him to stop. Or calm him down but he said he was just picking up glasses. I felt like the staff wasn t aware of their clientele or just simply didn t care. The only reason he left was because I called my friends over and once he saw my male friends he piped down. He left still muttering stuff towards us. Doesn t feel safe and I won t be going back.

Weve always loved Sharkeys and weve always brought a group with us. However, going forward I will always be asking for an itemized receipt. We had four of us on a tab and I was expecting a $70-75 tab. It came out at $90 and change. I asked for and got the itemized receipt and find that they had already added a 20% gratuity. Ive always given at least a 20% tip. If I hadnt asked for the itemized receipt they would have gotten a 44% tip. Not cool. Even worse was hiding it by not giving the itemized upfront. I will be letting everyone that I know, ask for and check their itemized receipt before paying again. Ive already spoken to a few that said they got their receipt and thought it was too high but just assumed they drank more than they thought. Update: We went to Sharkeys last night. They are still adding a 20% gratuity! Most likely this was our last trip to Sharkeys.
