2 years ago we had our first date at HIDE right before New Years. We spent hours on the roof top, that was decked out in beautiful holiday decor and now, 2 years later, my best friend asked me to marry him on that same roof top. Thank you to the staff at HIDE for letting us celebrate such a joyous occasion here. They were truly wonderful! After he surprised me with the proposal, he also surprised me with all of our family downstairs in the restaurant for brunch, and the bartenders/wait staff not only helped to make it a memorable and happy occasion by being helpful and attentive, they let our moms come in to put personal touches to the decor to truly make it special for us. It also helps that the food is delicious! Thanks to HIDE for letting us celebrate such a special day here!

Had an absolutely wonderful proposal at Hide. This was the location of our first date together. Worked with Mike and he was on top of every detail. Had a perfectly curated menu for every type of food sensitivity. He made sure to relay the message to all staff including the rooftop for the proposal. The staff was attentive at every request for the family and made the day extra special. Highly recommend having your party or just going here for a night out.

The food was good we had the porkbelly and skillet cookie. The wait staff was great was very helpful with getting our drinks and tending our table. My issue was that the pricing was unclear. Just want others to be aware. I ordered a double on the rocks. We were told it was $25 a drink by our waiter. When we got our bill we were charged $41 per drink. When questioning the bill, we were told they charge for 2oz and 1oz. Well that is 3oz, that is not a double, and that is fine, I drank the drink. All I ask is be honest with me and not shady. I will not be back and will not recommend.

Overall the food and drink were good. The waiter just threw me off the entire time. To me he did multiple weird things through our meal. He didnt know if the tap was working or not when two of us ordered beer. He then only brought over three out of four drinks. He gave the wrong beer to the wrong person and wasnt sure which beer it was and which one was missing. As we were eating he walked by the table and knocked on the end of the table but didnt say anything. He then stood by the door as we left and wanted to shake all four out hands. He also asked us to leave a review before we even had our meals! I just felt put off by the waiter throughout the entire meal. Made me not want to go back.

Daniel, our bartender this evening, is such an incredible man! He s kind, attentive, knows everything in the world about cocktails, and when it got busy, he was like this super machine, but still managed to carve out time to check up on me and my best friend. We had already had dinner before, but we got the the chips and trio dip, which we absolutely inhaled. I love the look of the place, and the booths. It looks so nice and comfortable. We are definitely coming back. Oh, and I had a drink with Mezcal and Earl Grey tea in it I think? Good Lord, that was delicious. Can t wait to come back and try some of the food!

5 stars! I threw my boyfriend s 30th surprise party here & have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The planning process was seamless & our waiter was great for such a big group. Although the rooftop was hot, everyone had an amazing time. 10/10 recommend Hide Bar for large events!

We decided to visit the rooftop part of this restaurant. It was awful Waitstaff is slooooooooow They took our drink order. Brought it out and then ignored us for 45 minutes. The entire staff was all gathered around a table eating, drinking and vaping while we waited for one of them to check on us. One of the other tables got up and ordered from the bar directly. It wasn t until the bust boy stopped at our table to gather my empty drink that we were able to order some food. Speaking of food: the $13 egg rolls are not worth it. Feels like we were bamboozled in service, atmosphere and overall dining. Immensely disappointing experience. Went downstairs and talked with a manager who apologized and invited us to dine on him but we declined. We don t want complementary food/drinks. We want you and the staff to do better. A lot better. Such a disappointment

I recently stopped by Hide during happy hour and tried their seven-dollar burger it was incredible. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and topped with fresh ingredients, it tasted like a gourmet burger for a fraction of the price. Our waiter, James, made the experience even better with his friendly and attentive service. He recommended the burger, and I m glad we took his advice. For a great deal and a delicious bite, Hide s happy hour burger is a must-try. I ll definitely be back!

Went there today for happy hour. We were off 75 so my wife wanted to try it out. Im not sure if its just because we ordered happy hour food or if its always like this. I ordered nachos with ground beef. Ground beef is $3 extra. If I had to guess, I would say I paid $3 extra for maybe 2 oz of ground beef, but I honestly think Im being generous. The cheese sauce had a good flavor but was incredibly salty. I really like salt too which was surprising for me. The photo Im including is after I had eaten maybe 4 chips. For $11 for some nachos during happy hour, Im definitely not going back to this place. If you want to give it a shot, it might be a better spot later in the evening. You might try ordering from the main menu and have better luck.

This was our second time coming, our service has always been so great, but tonight Patrick P really did an amazing job of steering us in the right direction of what we would really enjoy when it came to our drinks and food! Definitely recommend this spot if ever on greenville ave and looking for some good food and drinks! We made a reservation here and we were super excited! We ended up going to the upstairs part because it was a nice day and we loved the environment. We go to the bar and they just seemed very uninterested in us. Kind of laughing at us etc. We go sit at the table and our waiter is taking selfies, is on her phone, doing absolutely nothing but serving. I think her name was Alexa?dark curly hair. We waved her over a couple of times and she did not notice us. She finally sees us and then gives us the wait one moment finger. It was weird and just disrespectful. I love lower Greenville but I probably won t come back here. I ll make my way over to HG Supply Co. instead

I was very disappointed In the food and service. I ordered hot wings and fries and BOTH was super salty, it was so salty that the food gave a me an instant headache. Plus the food was cold when it was brought to me. Along with a small cup of lemonade that was $5.00. And 1shot of Tequila was $10.00. We didn t mind spending money but this place is very over priced and it wasn t worth it. Plus, the waitress Alexa gave us little napkin packs with a knife/fork that only had 1 napkin in it, Instead having every table with NAPKIN HOLDERS OR A PAPER TOWL HOLDERS because our fingers were filthy because of the food, when I asked for more napkins the waitress Alexa only gave me 2 napkins. This place needs to be a BAR/CLUB instead of serving food because it seems that they are not on a budget for food/ supplies because they brought our food out out in CARD BOARD BOXES instead of PLATES and the COOKS are not good. If u have problems with too much salt added, PLEASE SKIP THIS PLACE. Good scenery with the Roof Top and good music, but that s it.

the staff is always super nice and the atmosphere was cute. the brunch menu and garlic knots are pretty good, but their dinner menu is mediocre unless you like steak. i got the egg rolls and a crispy chicken sandwich, and both tasted like absolutely nothing. i was super disappointed by how bland the food was this time around.

Havent ever tried the food here but its a great place for drinks. Absolutely the BEST water. And I know that sounds crazy, but its the best. They also have a really fun and inventive cocktail list, plus some of your old standards. My only gripe is they put freaking cinnamon in an old fashioned. Cinnamon has no place in that drink lol Parking: Good luck finding parking - not really possible in this entire area.

HIDE provided a great space, service and f&b for a co-workers retirement party. All of our guests had a blast. The staff were incredibly accommodating and were very professional. The rooftop was perfect for our big group and I know plenty of people that will be returning.

I visited for a second time, this time solo. The food was great, but the service was extremely subpar. I had a reservation & was seated promptly. Upon my arrival they were slow. There was confusion among the staff as to who would be serving me, leading to a slow start to my service. After that, I had no one check on me until I was almost done with my meal. That lead to me being able to place an order for my second drink at the end of my service, which I intended on enjoying with the end of my meal. I did speak with the manager Scott while there about my experience to voice my feedback and he was very receptive. For the inconvenience my bill was taken care of. I will visit a third time and hope that it s a charm.

we sat at table patiently & waited to be served on st. patty s day. we were asked to get up because tables were reserved, we obliged. we then stood around for over ten minutes. when the bartender tried to take our order, one of the hostesses, i guess, came up to our group with an attitude huffing & puffing stating that she needed to, get through. we looked at her & told her a simple excuse me would ve gotten her the room she needed, she then threatened to have the bouncer kick us out. we left on our own. 20+ minutes in this establishment with no service & a horrible attitude from the host.

We love hide for so many reasons. Most recently I wanted to hold a surprise party at hide and it was amazing!! Mike was fantastic to communicate with, so thorough and prompt with responses and providing options for the evening. For 25 people it was fast service, great pizzas and no one had an empty drink all night! They allowed us to decorate and provided a sparkler for the cake. Can t thank Hide enough for creating a perfect and effortless night for us. 10/10 would recommend for an event, or just having great cocktails at the bar!

I hosted my birthday party at Hide Bar for about 30 people, and I had an amazing time! The event coordinator was wonderful with everything that I requested and was prompt with communication up until the event. I was amazed at how organized and simple the planning process was. When we arrived, I was greeted by the manager, Scott, who was very gracious, polite, and to energetic to serve us. The area for my event was prepared as I arrived and the staff immediately started to serve us. Our waitress and waiter were also amazing! For an event of 30 people, they were rapid and adequate with our drink and food orders; no one had a wait time of more than 5 minutes for a drink or 15 minutes for a meal. All of my guests had a great time at my event! I am thankful that Hide was able to help me celebrate my big day! I will most definitely be using them in the future.

HIDE rents their upstairs bar to a scummy Christmas popup bar (Miracle Popup at Lower Greenville), who s service was horrible, pricing was misleading, and reviews were unavailable. Server added a 20% post tax automatic gratuity on a $15 drink and refused to give me my change after I paid in cash. Miracle popup advertises bars increase their revenue by renting out to the popup, which is done by screwing their customers with misleading tactics and predatory practices. I d love to instead rate Miracle Popup as 1 star, but they conveniently list their google my business page as permanently closed.

My friend and I went to Miracle last night and received HORRIBLE service. My friend and I ordered a Christmas cocktail which was $15 each. We order the same drink however hers comes out in the festive cup as you would expect. Mine came out in a plastic cup? I ask why that is and they say because they didn t have any clean? Why would you not advise the customer of that and ask them if they still want it or another drink that they have the cups for?! Then once I advise I will wait for a clean cup because that is what we are paying $15 for not a simple plastic cup, at a CHRISTMAS POP UP! The bar manager brings the drink out and talks to me as if I am the issue for wanting the drink/ cup that I paid for (not sure why he s the manager if he talks to people that way.) You order your drinks through the app, so I order a vodka soda. I ordered a total of 3 by clicking the button ORDER AGAIN. This RUDDDEEE female waitress brings me a drink that doesnt even have the same color as what I ve been ordering and I tell her that s not correct she tells me to CHILL and rudely walks away. Then as I m leaving the guy at the door proceeds to say, ai heard you ve been causing problems?! EXCUSE ME!! That was my first and ABSOLUTELY my last time going there!!! I have visited the inside multiple times and the upstairs Christmas bar twice. While Ive gotten 5 star service and decent food inside at the bar, Ive gotten 1-3 star service both times upstairs at the Christmas bar. Inside: Attentive bartenders. The food is super mediocre but the vibe, service, and drinks are good. Upstairs: They have drinks on the menu that they dont actually have but since you order on your phone, the price doesnt change. My pizza was brought out and put down on the table while others who ordered pizzas got little stands. We were given no napkins, no water, no utensils, no plates ... just a pizza on the table. The tip is already filled in and I wonder what Im tipping for but then had the nerve to request additional tip. FOR WHAT?! Definitely wont be visiting the upstairs ever again ... Christmas or not.

Was such a great experience for my wifes birthday event here! We reserved for a group of 32 people at this location and Mike Backlund was very quick on communication and getting us setup with ease. The event itself was a great time and would highly recommend Hide Bar and would definitely consider planning future events here again. The GM Scott Melton and the wait staff/bartenders were super accomodating and made for a very pleasant and fun experience. Food was top notch; pizza was great, eggrolls were great, etc. They were also very reasonable with pricing. Wife had a very good birthday at this location.

I ll start off by saying, good cocktails, definitely a good place if you want a lot of liquor in a drink. However we only had one food item and so glad we didn t order more. The crispy rice spicy tuna is lacking so bad. I mean it s finger food and it s basically tasteless, just because you slapped some tuna with a jalapeño on top doesn t make it spicy tuna, and the little cucumber piece you stick between the rice and tuna doesn t make it more refreshing it makes it even more bland. Really disappointing for a finger food so popular and so easy to execute well.

This was our first stop of the night while bar hopping downtown. The upstairs was suuuper packed so we all went downstairs and enjoyed a few drinks. We were able to sit right at the bar and my friends even got some free gourmet popcorn from one of the bartenders. Everyone was pretty chill and attentive and even though we didnt stay too long, we enjoyed our time.
