UPDATE: After my review was posted Gina G. reached out. We discussed my concerns with the way the case was handled. She apologized and worked tirelessly to come to a resolution keeping me informed through emails and phone calls. I am pleased to report a resolution has been reached. The hospital bill has been paid and I just received an appropriate settlement in the mail. To be honest, I did not expect a response but Gina took the review serious and did an outstanding job that resulted in a favorable end for the both of us. INCOMPETENT. This is the only way to describe this bogus law firm. I was rear ended at a red light in April 2022. First responders showed up and I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I called Hernandez Law and the investigator showed up at my job the next day. Answered all his questions and gave him copy of the police report. Next were the medical appointments, which they referred and were really suspect. At first all seemed good, they kept in contact through email and text messages...then crickets. Months will go by and nothing. Repeated text messages to Mayra and Gabriela go unanswered. December 2023 I get a voice mail from Gina in litigation. I called back twenty minutes later, left VM. No response. January 2024 call again and leave VM on Gina s phone. No response. In the meantime the hospital kept contacting me for payment. Told them I have legal representation and gave them Hernandez s information. February 2024 called Gina again, left VM. She finally returns call and says the other insurance company is not cooperating and will probably have to go to litigation. I say ok, let s do it. But they might have trouble settling my case because I have a history of car accidents. Wait, what? I told her you have me mixed up with someone else. I was hit in 2018 and the one before that was in the 1980 s. *Red Flag*. Gina calls back February 27, 2024 to say litigation might not be the answer but I can settle and probably get $1,500 in my pocket. I said fine, it s going on two years just finish it. Was surprised with the relief in her voice when I said lets settle. *Red Flag*. Gina calls back March 4th to say it s more like $300 I ll get back. Two years, an ambulance ride to the ER and a wrecked truck and all they can do is $300?!? March 19th, I get an email from Juan Hernandez with a document attached. Has Hernandez Law in the letterhead to sign and agree to a settlement of $200 and pay the hospital balance of $600!! Why the hospital not paid in full but their shady medical people were paid? Listen to the negative reviews. They are true. Like other negative reviews they ll probably say they can t find any evidence of my case. I m sure if they ask Mayra, Gabriela or Gina they can find something. I do not recommend Hernandez Law. Call Ben.

**UPDATE 12/8/23 Seems the only time I get a response from this office is when I update review. Had MRI on 11/14, never heard back from Doc or hospital. Reached out to this office on 11/19 to see if they would follow up so we can get this case closed out. I was told they would look into and get back to me. Well here we are on 12/8 with no response. If this is a case that is not good enough for this law firm I wish they would let me know so that I can look into alternative firms. Frustration doesnt begin to cover what I feel. Just be aware when you contact this office. **UPDATE** So I received call from New case manager after leaving this review. Had doctors office call and set up appointment. But since then nothing. Doctor is wanting to prescribe some medication and do an MRI but this needs approval from attorney office. I called a week ago left message. Have heard nothing... again! Just called and left another message. At this point I have lost all faith in this office. Their messages say they will return calls in 24 hours yet here we are 2 weeks later with no response.*** I had an accident on March 10 of this year. Reached out to this law firm for some help. Getting updates or information has been like pulling teeth. I text, call, email with little to no response. When I do get response Im told they are waiting on hospital/doctor invoices/reports. Its been over 7 months! I offer to go get whatever they need from whomever but then I get no response. I dont mind driving to offices to get what is needed as long as it helps.. Even had one of the hospitals calling and texting me with having Bill put on my credit because they had not received any information. Got a call last month saying I needed one last doctor appointment and she would have office call to set it up. Still waiting for that call. I just want this done and my hospital bills paid.

The attorney never had the audacity to call me. I asked to have my files released and I wasn t provided with anything. They only used the excuse the insurance company isn t denying such claim. I reached out to this law firm to review my case and they refused to take it on and fight. They gave up without even trying. Who needs that kind of law firm to represent them? I suspect they only take cases they can easily win since there has to be some huge financial reward in the end. I need a lawyer thats willing to fight unlike this group here. Look elsewhere for representation. Dont be fooled by the 5 - star reviews and their responses to 1 - star reviews. They had their chance to prove themselves and they failed.

FATAL IF I HAD KNOWN IN THE HANDS OF WHO I PUT MY CASE I WOULD NEVER HAVE HIRE THEM SINCE AUGUST / 2021 I HAD A CASE AND TO DATE THEY JUST GIVE ME LONG ASSISTANCE IN FIRST ASSISTANT SUCH VANESSA, TOO DESPOTIC, NEVER RESOLVED ME ANYTHING I HAD TO TALK TO KNOW HOW MY CASE WAS GOING IN DECEMBER ACCORDING TO THEY ALREADY HAD WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO REQUEST FROM THE INSURANCE AND NOTHING AFTER A SUCH JEROME CONTACTED ME WHO NEVER RESOLVED ANYTHING FOR ME AND NOW THE CASE WAS TRANSFERRED MANY MONTHS AGO TO ANOTHER LAWYER GINA THAT THE ASSISTANT IS WORSE COMPLAINT FIRST, SOMEONE ELVIRA YELLS AT ONE WHEN ONE ASKS HER TO KNOW ABOUT THE CASE AND THAT TO DATE THEY HAVE NOTHING AS THEY WERE GOING TO SUE THE INSURANCE AND WELL NOW THAT THE LAWYER HAS COVID-19 I MEAN I UNDERSTAND WHAT THE LAWYER ABOUT BUT WHY NOBODY TAKES THE CASE THERE IF THE LAWYER CANNOT ATTENDE TO THE TRUTH I BELIEVE THAT MY CASE WILL BE LOST IN THE HANDS OF THESE JUAN HERNANDEZ OFFICES... MAKE SURE FIRST BEFORE GIVEN YOUR CASES IN THESE OFFICES
