I have no idea how this firm is rated so highly. From the start, I was never sent a copy of the form I signed when I hired them. I tried calling to get that and they failed to ever send it. Then, my husband found the police crash report for my accident online, instead of receiving it from my case manager like I was supposed to. They never did send me that report. About two weeks after I signed on with them, I told them (in writing) that I no longer wanted them to represent me, and this is where they really lost my trust and respect.... According to the auto insurance company, The Benton Law Firm sent them a letter of representation dated three days AFTER Id fired them! I tried to get confirmation of the termination of our attorney-client relationship (a withdrawal letter) THREE TIMES before I finally had to get another attorneys office involved to help me! I fired Benton Law on April 12 but couldnt get them to finally send the withdrawal letter (which they only emailed to the other attorney, not even to me) until today, May 2... all while they were still sending out letters of representation. Thats all pretty shady if you ask me. ETA: I love how their response has absolutely nothing to do with any of my complaints.

My daughter got me this law firm when I was unable to do so myself. I was in a wreck and in the hospital for a week so she had to take care of my affairs but when I was able to get back on my feet I took over. I was hit by a 18 wheeler on 10/09/2018. My life changed forever ay that moment. One minute I was on my way to an interview for a better job and the next the roof of my car was ripped off and I came to with blood and rain covering my face and strangers running towards me from every direction. The doctors said that the honestly didnt know how I even survived. And after coming out of the ICU for 5 days I was in the hospital for an additional 6 months total but while I was there I had 5 different attorneys trying to help me. However, after the police report found me at fault those attorneys that cared so much about my future would not even return my calls. So here I was not able to even walk no savings, no money coming in and not even a vehicle to get to the very needed weekly appointments. And then a lady messaged me on face book and told me about this law firm that was helping her husband and how kind and committed to getting justice for her husband. So, I called not very hopeful because EVERYONE else had turned me down due to the police report and the company is a major named corporation. When I called a gentleman named Jeff spoke with me and for the first time in months I had a little hope he explained to me that this was going to be a battle due to the police report and company but he said that if I was willing to be patient with him that he would do his best to help me. I received a call from a young lady named Ashley and she was so kind and very patient with me she has listened to me when I was a TOTAL mess and she has listened to me while I was a firecracker to put it kindly. However, she always remained the same kind hearted, encouraging and when she would tell me that she would handle something she meant just that everything from Ubers, imaging, doctors appointments and medications. She never lagged on her job even when COVID hit the world like a bomb she was still there returning my calls and handling my medical care. The Nolan my attorney, what a kind gentleman he is. He as well was up front and told me that this was going to be a battle and he and Jeff were 100% correct the company wanted to actually offer me 1,000 dollars and please understand I have permanent brain damage, now suffer seizures, can no longer run, dance or even walk for longer than five minutes without my walker and Im only 44 yrs old. Nolan said no way and I received a amount that I am very thankful for and it was WAY more than 1.000 dollars. So, if you want someone that truly cares about you and your future someone thats not going to charge you every time they speak to you and honestly has your back and isnt just some meaningless commercial or catchy phrase on television Benton Law Firm is the right choice. Trust me they not only fought for me that actually helped give me stability financially for my future.

After I was side swiped by a delivery truck and broke my neck, they did everything they could to help. I was super weary, and had never done anything like this before. This was the first time I had ever experienced having to sue anyone for anything. Jeff Benton and Leon Kasab made everything seamless. Serena was the one that I spoke to most often. Her voice and demeanor over the phone was so calming, it was very nice talking to her. Meeting her in person is the same. Shes the best! Im honestly very impressed and appreciative of Jeff Benton and his team. After my accident, I debated between more big name firms. Ultimately, though, his team was very assertive in working with me and committing to give their best effort to help me through the many aspects of my affairs. My Case Manager, Noemi, was fantastic in being pleasant and helpful when I had questions. They were able to push the insurer that we were working against to a much higher settlement than what was originally offered. I highly doubt that I could have done that without help. Im terribly late in writing my review; not because of the service by any means though. The Benton Law Firm (as a whole ) far exceeded my expectations. Not that I really had any preconceived notions of lawyers other than Google searches and what I see on TV. Jeff Benton was the first attorney Ive ever obtained - and after all of this... my only one. He is exceptional! From the first time I spoke to him he was honest and direct about his expectations regarding my case but he still made me feel like a real person vs just a case. He and his staff were always available and made me feel welcome too. Although Ive never had an attorney, I knew within the first week of trying to handle my MVA that I was going to need one. I am SO glad that I chose Jeff Benton. He got the maximum amount available to be won in my case. When someone is in any type of automobile accident, you automatically become rattled and a bit nervous. Not only was I both rattled and nervous, I was inexperienced in this field of work. Jeff Benton was the first lawyer I had ever obtained, hired, and was counseled by. As soon as we met I stopped answering calls by other lawyers wanting to meet me. He met me near my home city and explained all of our options. It was a very smooth process and I basically got the medical care I desperately needed with no hindrance at all. Their office took care of EVERYTHING. I was kept in constant contact either via email or telephone and I never felt like I had been forgotten. My life could have changed for the worse but he helped me stay on my feet and progress forward. Im obviously not his only client but I promise you; he made me feel like I was. Having an accident is very unexpected and can cause a lot of frustration. I didn t realize that trying to handle my on settlement with the opposing insurance company would be even worse. The Benton Law Firm helped me with a personal injury case regarding a wreck I had with an armored vehicle earlier this year. Right off the bat, the driver and passenger of the armored truck were trying to make me feel as if I had done something wrong when I clearly had the right of way. I knew the impact took a toll on my body, and that I would only feel worse in the days and weeks to come. Jeff came as a recommendation from a friend and Im so happy I called him!
