This was a magical evening! The professional musicianship of the players was superb. The flickering of the candles enhanced the environment making you feel as if you were back in time. I would return again in a heartbeat

Its definitely a community theatre type place with all the things which go along with that. Production is ok for standard stuff but the big shows are a bit lacking. They do a nice academy training program for which they pick kids for the younger players. If youre expecting Broadway, PlayHouse Square, AL Shakespeare, and such, youre at the wrong place. The best community theatre in Amarillo, but also the only that is not part of a college or school. Tickets are reasonable for most performances and it makes for a good night out.

Our Little theatre, we go as often as we are able. These guys do a great job for a community run organization. Keep in mind the majority of the people putting on the performances you watch here are volunteering their services and you will be impressed by what you see. Definitely an asset to the Amarillo area

First time at ALT yesterday to see Beautiful The Carole King Musical. This is one musical one should not miss!! The entire cast was spectacular, especially Hunter Lee (Carole King)! The only downside was the expense of beverage and food, but will not keep me from going back.

Best local theatre ever! Amarillo Little Theatre has been around for 90 years. There are so many talented people donating their time to make some wonderful productions. They have two theater spaces. The Main Stage for more traditional theatre and the Adventure Space for more contemporary/risque productions. Something for everyone.

Guys and Dolls was fantastic! 14 men and 14 women all could sing and dance with not a clinker in the bunch! the staging was wonderfully inventive. Costumes superb and so was the lighting! I bought season tickets which works out very very reasonably

Always enjoy ALT plays and productions. Most recent showing of the Musical production of Shrek is a must see. Kudos to the entire Cast and Staff. The show had the audience rumbling in laughter. You can meet the cast immediately after the show. Singing, music and voice articulations were spot-on. Role(s) and animations of Shrek, Fieona, & Prince Farquhar along with the induvidual, entire cast including lighting, backgrounds, props and wardrobe should be commended for their @3 hour performance at Amarillo Little Theater . This was great entertainment for the entire family. Many thanks also to Cole & Tammy Scroggins and Mariel Goodgion for the opportunity to attend this event.

I am a writer and my new novel out now on Amazon and select stores is titled The Reckoning of Rance. A modern day western about a troubled family of inheritance gone bad. It was the book that brought me to Amarillo for a signing. But once there I needed something else to do. I made a reservation for my wife and I at this little theater, for their opening play of Matilda. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Such a wonderful experience and time we had. The little star, Lake Derington stole the show. She was quiet the singer and actress, not taking anything away from the total rest of the cast who were just all exceptionally wonderful in their own rights. I will say we also enjoyed Nels Bjork and the craziness of that performance with occasional flirtation attacks upon unsuspecting male members of the audience. We loved it! We knew nothing of this theater before coming, but let me tell you we are hooked and are fans and cannot wait another chance to show up again.

If you have never been to a show, you need to change that. The level of talent we have here in Amarillo is incredible. I went and watched Rock of Ages last night and it was a 10 out of 10. The cast seemed like they should be on broadway. They Rocked it and cant wait to see it again on Saturday.

A friend and I went to see Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. It was hilarious! We got to sit on the third row, and it was great because we got to see the actors facial expressions. It was comfortable until intermission, and then it was cold the second half. We got refreshments during intermission, and we got to lounge on one of the couches while we ate. Had an overall good experience!

My granddaughter was in the musical The Ugly Duckling. The entire production was great and special . I am still amazed at how the adult managers managed to keep all those kids under control much less how well they got those kids to preform. THIS WAS A MUSICAL WITH SOLOS, DUETS, SMALL ENSEMBLES AND A CHORUS!! My granddaughter was in the chorus as a Duckling and a frog. She was great the entire performance was SUPER! VERY SUPER EASY 5 ++ STARS
