Dog-friendliness: This place is super dog friendly! They have plenty of room for anything you or your pet would like to do! Make sure to pick up your dogs mess and do your duty when your dog does there dooty! Lol Picnic area: There are plenty of places to have a picnic, just bring a blanket with you!

Unique path to talk, urban ar work is interesting. Is a romantic place at night time for couples. Water isnt the prettiest but there is a good vibe especially around dusk. Its well kept and clean, safe enough to walk even later at night.

My favorite park in downtown Dallas! There s so much greenery. Katy trail goes through this park. There s a lake with a fountain and plenty of space surrounding it for a picnic, painting, sunbathing, and more. There s plenty of space to walk around or sit down and enjoy the view. It s really nice to have this green spot available amidst all the city concrete.

A lovely place. Enjoy it every afternoon. Great for sociable, responsible, respectful people and dogs. Well maintained, with areas for relaxing on a blanket or a bench or for photography. Not a spot for sports except maybe passing a football. Lavish weddings can take over some weekends. Dog-friendliness: Emphatically not a dog park. But well behaved people and their dogs will enjoy; poop bags and trash containers provided. Unfortunately no water supply.

Beautiful pavillion. Unfortunately, the grass area in front is used as a dog park, and too many owners choose not to pick up after their pets. ( Shame on you people!) We chose not to use the great space because we didnt want to walk through poop.

my favorite park to hang out at! trails everywhere, friendly park-goers, beautiful architecture, and lots of seating. there is a trail that runs right by it thats super fun to walk, and lots of space to play with your dog. Toilets: some porta potties, but its best to go into one of the local shops if you can.

Beautiful! We did a family picnic by the creek. Laid out some blankets and tried wingstops new limited time flavors. There weren t really any bugs and only a few off leash dogs that were curious about what we had. It was a lovely time and we got to see a lot of airplanes flying over us on their way to land at love field.

I enjoy coming here to walk my dog. This park is extremely dog friendly. Theres even a regular group of dog parents that meet here daily to let their dogs play together. However, the park has signs that say your dog must be on a leash and despite busy roads, the group always lets their dogs off leash. Ive never had an issue with any of the dogs being unruly. Sometimes pet waste isnt picked up so watch your step, but again l, I havent had a personal experience of stepping in anything. In warmer weather, people like to picnic and lounge out in the lawn and sometimes there are events going on in the building. Dog-friendliness: Theres a group that meets up here to let their dogs off leash to play. Keep in mind there are signs saying your pet must be on a leash. However, I have not seen any concerns about the dogs being off leash or any incidents occurring.

As a photographer, Turtle Creek Park is a beautiful location for any occasion or special event. On this visit, I had prom portraits scheduled. The water attraction is a showstopper. Depending on the time of day, the sun creates a lovely rainbow for any images. And since there are so many angles, youre not waiting to get the perfect shot. My only complaint is parking. I appreciate dedicated parking and there isnt any. There are plenty spots to parallel park in the area, but particular with the parking.

With a bit of editing I was able to create some nice photos. However the experience overall was lackluster and disappointing. Maybe it was better a few years ago. But it did not look picturesque when I first visited in September 2021. For the most part the park and creek looked dirty. Forget Turtle Creek Park and go to Lakeside Park instead. My review and photos of Lakeside Park are available to see.

It s a beautiful pristine park and a stone s throw from Katy s trail entrance. It is great for dog walks and for hosting events. There is a venue inside the park called Arlington Hall that hosts events usually on the weekends, like weddings, anniversaries, etc. Pro-tip: If you have some time, while here cross the street and check out the other half of the park which has a pretty cool waterfall and Katy s trail entrance right next to it.
