This park and recreation complex is a great place to walk your dog, have a picnic lunch, or play tennis, basketball, baseball, flag football, fly a kite, or just sit in the grass under the shade trees and read a book. It has a playground for kids, an outdoor basketball court, two fenced in tennis courts as well as 2 baseball diamonds. This park is as nice today ( if not better) than it was some 50 years ago when I first started coming here to play Chamber of Commerce baseball in the summer of 1974. It is clean and very well maintained by the City of Dallas, park and recreations dept. I still go to this beautiful greenbelt every chance I get. Playground: The playground has all of the equipment that kids love to play on including....swing sets, merry go round, slides, a Jungle Jim along with, sand boxes and a sitting area for the parents to watch their kiddos Dog-friendliness: Yes, this park is a good place to walk your Dog. There is plenty of space to play fetch with your dog or just let them chase squirrels.

Nice and cute little playground for the little ones!!!! Also it is surrounded by trees and the shade from the trees helps a lot during the summer days..also theres a lot of space to walk and run with the little kids..i Love it..

Great park with plenty of benches and picnic areas. The playground has a lot of shading for those burning summers. My shoes were cover with dirt, so bring old shoes...

Except for walking below high tension power wires its a pretty looooong cool park...they are finishing the section between Midway and Inwood at the moment. They have opened the section to the west that goes all the way to UPS from Midway Rd! Great place to take my dog :) Update: they have finished the cement walking trail from i75 all the way to UPS near Merrel and Web Chappel! Enjoy!

Little soggy from the rain, but the kids and I love it! Beautiful creek running by it. I didnt even see that much litter. This community must really take care of this park. I use to play soft ball here when I was a kid. We joke that its the only park left in the world with a merry go round. Like a special antique toy ride that mommy used to play on. When it wasnt that long ago. Funny how its very close to a wonderful antique mall. If it stays warm enough the city will turn the water fountains back on. Until then take water with you.

The park is part of school. The facilities are generally for five years upwards. Also no shaded slides etc. One has to wait until the sun goes down. Definitely needs improvement.

This is our go-to park, since it is very close to our home. It is clean with sturdy equipment for the kids. The only problem this park has is that they removed the one porta- potty that was there. So, now there is no where to take your little ones to the bathroom.

Huge, awesome park. Lots of big trees and nice shade. And expansive open fields too. Also on a shady creek, so can go check out the turtles and ducks. The playground is great for all ages.
