Such a large place! They had a lot of things to do and play. Everything was pricey, but that was to be expected. Parking wasnt too bad if you got there early enough. The food was good, the rides looked insane, and the noise was deafening. There were a lot of exhibits we didnt get to see. There is no way to do everything in one day.

Parking is a nightmare, the prices are outrageous but we had a good time. We left before it started getting dark, for safety reasons. There is a lot of security, but we dont know who made it in the gate with a weapon, didnt feel thoroughly searched.

We went to the Texas State Fair, and it was a total rip-off. First of all, theres no parking on-site, so you have to pay some random person $50-$60 to park in their yard. Then you have to pay an entrance fee, and once youre inside, you have to buy tickets for food and drinks, and a separate card for the games. Most of the games are $4-$10 to play, which is ridiculous. And to top it all off, some guy tried to shove me out of the way when the Red River Shootout ended and the people came pouring out of the stadium. All in all, it was a terrible experience, and I definitely wont be going back.

Have visited the place both for the Fair and trail while being in Dallas.Easily accessible from downtown (within 20mins of reach from Reunion tower).Has a metro station connected. Suggested time to visit late evening. Have a good time Toilets: Temporary potty type toilets installed in for the events

Was there to catch a ride at 530 am Ive seen this the 3rd time ive seen this couple with this baby 2nd time I called 911 and they came right away ONLY because of the fair comin because the cops dont care bout homeless and neither does dallas only shuckin and jiving for the others cuz the next day they was at the fair again except they covered the stroller and still was high and sleep...im more concerend about the baby....When the fair leaves again it will go back to letting the homeless take over and not doing nothing...Texas aint it ...

Typically a good place to see concerts but last time my friend and I got robbed there so just be careful. We left our lawn chairs to go check out the merch and some white girls behind us took the lawn chairs we rented and moved. Stole my $6 water and my fan. My friends water. You have to rent the chairs so that was also a waste of $30. 15 each. Its not like we couldnt have rented other chairs but that wasnt the point... Its never fun being robbed. It was disappointing and we ended up leaving without seeing the show. Anyway be careful.

I would not get funnel cakes for 11$ I had them get me a new one twice. The third time they just tried to tell me it just came out of the fryer... that typically means its HOT. The acoustics were really off during Yellowcard. Typically its not an issue during my other concerts.

Great experience with the kids. But it was extremely crowded lines took several hours not an exaggeration and then people leave trash everywhere at the end but all in all the venue had a plethora of different things for the kids to experience from bounce houses to little tours of history.

We love having picnics at the Fair park usually we go for a walk, then visit the Texas Discovery Garden and finish our tour at the aquarium. Had a fantastic time at the 4th of July celebration, even if the organization of the event and management of the crowd could have been better. It would have been nice to have seen more vendors there too in order to reduce the wait times in the long lines for food and drink. The fireworks, however, were spectacular and would be hard to beat.

We visited the Children s Aquarium and some of the gardens. We greatly enjoyed the aquarium. The parking situation was very confusing for someone who has never been there before. The aquarium was a little smaller than expected, but that made it the perfect size for my toddler to wander around in.

I only visited the west side of the park by the lagoon and the buildings show their age. There are places closed for what it seems to be upcoming renovation but there are sections that look run down. It can be a great space, just need a make up.
