Pretty decent place to unwind a little. There s nice benches and tables with excellent tree coverage for shade. Majority of the park doesn t have grass so unfortunately so it feels a little unkept.

Central Square Park was a nice quaint, almost dainty, park. It was nice to see an area for children, and the gazebo is a nice touch. This park is tiny and lacks adequate landscape.

Parking can be challenging but the park is nice and cute. It has a swing area and such. There are vagrants there but they will not cause you any harm. Most of the time they are there to get water, find shade or charge their phone. To anyone afraid of going bc of that reason; I challenge you to love them as a friend and see things from their perspective; it could change your life. Picnic benches were nice and well kept and trash was always emptied out

This park is like a small town park nestled in a historic neighborhood. You can almost forget you are blocks away from Baylor Hospital and downtown Dallas. The shade is perfect to help keep you cooler in the heat of summer.

Great little Park to hang out with the family. Tucked inside a cute little historic neighborhood. Plenty tables and benches. Good tree cover in good shade. Not as good for throwing around the ball or frisbee but theres a big field right across the street for that. Our friends used it as an impromptu outdoor wedding venue and it worked perfectly.

Ive got to say this is quite a nice little park. The photos I saw on Google maps show the place in the summer and I visited in mid January. However most of the grass was still green and even a few of the large old trees lining the park had leaves on them. And as a bonus somebody had planted cute pretty little flowers in the planters surrounding the pavilion. The park is only maybe a hundred yards square, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in features. To me a park isny much of a park without a lot of trees, and this place has plenty of them. The twisting trunks and branches look cool even in the winter. Theres a nice brick walkway which comes from the four corners of the park meeting in a circle in the middle where the pavilion is. There are benches all over and even a couple of picnic tables with benches. Trash receptacles, a water fountain, a kiddie playground - and did I mention a pavillion? Love this place and I cant wait to see it when the weather warms up. ***EDIT*** I returned to this park in mid April and the transformation was amazing. Tons of greenery, dappled sunlight, the trees gently dancing in the breeze. A wonderful feeling of peace, despite the distant roar of traffic. Really something special.
