As compared to other lake and parks. This place was a bit dirty as lots of garbage were thrown everywhere. Urine spreads from toilet to walking area which has caused bad smell around. Not a family friendly place.

It was good for the.most part but the grass and weeds need to be cut we were thier for labor day and it was bad had to pull down to the lake to pick my mother up after she walked down to Fish but the grass made her extra tired and it was even worse today

Walked from the Embassy hotel onto the trail behind it. Pretty trail, and its actually quiet the further you go. Sadly, there is trash. Walked until I spotted a shopping cart on the trail up ahead and then quickly turned around. Didnt realize the thin, smooth tracks on the trail were from a shopping cart until that moment wont be doing this trail again.

This is a peaceful spot with trails, a lake for kayaking and fishing, and family and friendly playgrounds. It s a great place for a relaxing outdoor visit.

Just chilled under a tree to enjoy the wind to pass the time. Playground: Great for little and big kids to run around on. I would run with my boys until I got tired, lol.

Tried to enjoy the area but quickly realized there were quite a few people suffering from drug addictions loitering there. I intended to sit in the main pavilion with my family to eat lunch. We sat there and looked around and noticed a man sleeping in a standing position and his head was rocking back and forth. He left on his own, but when we wanted to go into the play ground we found another adult sleep rocking in there The park is beautiful none the less. I wouldn t recommend bringing small kids. Biking seemed to be ok.

Maybe not worth 5 stars but Ill change it if I have to. No one bothers me while I cut thru this area avoiding Northwest Hwy but tacking on a few minutes. Excellent place for family recreation if you wish or also to be alone under the shade of the trees on these hot summer days, and do meditation... excellent place to exercise, a very wide path around the entire lake approximately 3.5 miles of travel. You can take your dogs as long as you have it on a leash and can control it. There are many children and people who frequent this place. The police give tours that allow the place to enjoy peace and tranquility. Playground: It has a playground for children to have fun. Dog-friendliness: They accept dogs as long as you have them on a leash and can control them because there are many children and people in the place Picnic area: There are tables available and free to use. Also green areas to enjoy the green grass.

This is a very nice public park located at the northern periphery of Love Field airport in Dallas. There was a nice large lake which you can possibly take a paddle boat or a canoe on, a biking path and walking path, plenty of picnic tables and barbecue grilling kiosks. When I visited the park seem to be very well maintained.

I did not like the feel of this area. Part of the trail was closed and you had to follow detoured signs in some shady areas. It looks VERY dirty with tons of trash on the lower area by the water. I saw homeless people sleeping and didnt see any cameras for safety. I went for a run here hoping I would feel safe but I constantly had to look over my shoulder. There were a lot of cars with people sitting in them but not many people on the trail/lake area. Maybe I picked a bad day to go. I also hoped they would have workout areas (like pull up bars, etc) like in other parks but they did not. And I didnt feel like there were too many places for people to try and hide to hurt you so thats a plus but maybe it will be scarier when the trees fully bloom. They had playgrounds and a Pavillion. Lots of parking.

Love this trail takes me right to Bachman Station to take train to work. Its open view so no problem navigating. The area is clean and beautiful especially during sunny midday. Definitely wont refuse taking an opportunity to walk on it.
