This restaurant was just what we needed upon arriving in Dallas Me and my new colleague, supervisor and friend Veronica had just landed and wanted a delicious steak for lunch. I googled the restaurants near us and it was only a few minutes away so we went. We got this tropical salsa that had a kick of heat and sweet, pork belly and crab cakes. Talk about Scrumdiddlyumptious! The steak ans fries were HITTIN TOO. The only reason im not giving it a five stars is because the steak was so good, but it could have been flavored much better. The integrity of the beef was delicious and it was so much so that I ate home.Girls leftovers, two days later because i did not want to see that deliciousness go to waste. Some extra salt and pepper went a long way with it. But I would have liked a little bit stronger of a flavoring.

Exceptional staff that treat you like youre the most important person in the room. The restaurant is beautiful with see in kitchen and everyone always looks happy cooking. Carlos sees us walking in, and hes immediately getting us seated and checking with us on how our day is going. Weve had several items on the menu, and nothing weve had hasnt been phenomenal. Wings and tacos are perfect for a light meal, and be sure to ask for rum punch, which Rosie at the bar got me started on. Breakfast is amazing and leaves you plenty full. Management knows us since weve been here so often, and they take the time to check in with us. You wont be disappointed and they are open all day which is wonderful. A must try location.

I have been to Dallas over a dozen times over the past 3 years. I intentionally reserve my accommodations at the Renaissance because of this restaurant. Their table fares are consistently outstanding. The staff is incredible. I look forward to future trips to Dallas if for no other reason than another wonderful meal.

We went for lunch while we were at a meeting, long line and when we were seared it was just a buffet, salad bar was much, tacos were basic and bland. The server dropped 2 waters, and picked up our dirty plates and dropped the check, $71 for buffet lunches including 20% service charge is more than excessive Food

To be honest, I thought I had booked at a different restaurant . But here we were. Very nice open restaurant and stylish bar. Parking is limited at the hotel but they validate for parking. Drink service was initially slow but I warmed up to our waiter. Cocktails were good. Chips salsa is not free but a generous portion. Tomatillo salsa a tad salty but tasty nonetheless. Compressed watermelon salad was generous and delicious. Enough to share. So refreshing. Loved it. Lamb chops were tasty but the star on the plate was a small enchilada. Salmon entree also flavorful if somewhat crispy. Too full for dessert but a good experience overall. Biggest detractor is that it just feels like a forlorn hotel restaurant, not a destination in itself. Hopefully the clientele and reputation will follow.

Very clean environment; friendly and quick service! The portions did seem a tad small at first but it was a lot more filling than I was expecting- so I m not mad about it, lol . The price was fair for the quality of food as well! If I m in the area again I will definitely be coming back! I ordered the tacos and a side of fries! I loved it! Absolutely delicious lunch, four of us dined after a long couple days of meetings and travel. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything brought to us from the kitchen. The pork belly, Shrimp and Grits were standouts. Server even offered us a nice spot to store our luggage in view, as we were enroute to the airport. Will definitely return when next in town.

Reviews look great, however the experience is disappointing. Expect to see some hotel guests coming down to eat in their tank tops and flip flops. The service feels rushed and not caring at all. The wine selection is mediocre at most. For the money you can find a place that would be way better in every category.

I had time for a quick bite and when I conveyed this to staff they were on it, getting my order and food out timely but without sacrificing quality. The fish tacos with touch of mango salsa, guac and just the right amount of kick was spot on! Loved it and I highly recommend this food dining establishment. First time here. Came on a Saturday afternoon around 12 PM for brunch for a double date. Parking is in the gated hotel parking which has a fee, but the front desk can validate the parking if you eat at the restaurant. It was empty when we arrived & we were seated immediately. Mimosa - Average taste. Good price. Smoked Salmon Bagel - HUGE salmon pieces. Bagel was nicely toasted - not too toasted, not too underdone; lovely flavor. Cream cheese was very addicting - mixed with herbs. Served with a side of sliced potatoes, pickled red onions, red cabbage, & tomatoes - all separated on the plate in piles, so you can add whatever you want or don t want. The portion was so big, I only ate half for brunch & had the rest for early dinner. I d highly recommend this one. 44 Farms Brisket Burger - It was empty when we arrived, so we asked if they could make a burger which is normally on the lunch menu for brunch. Thankfully, the chef was nice enough to do so. Flavor was good. Pickles were excellent (even for someone who isn t a big fan of pickles my husband still ate them all). They taste homemade, on the thinner firmer side with a mildly sweet flavor & lighter than typical tartness. Overall, service & food were excellent. On the pricier side - came to about $60 for two entrees & one drink, but it was still good. I d recommend & I d come back!

We came back to the hotel at 11:35 hoping for one evening drink. The staff had already put away most of the bars bottles and was in a hurry to close. We were confused as to if there even was a bar, as when stripped from its bottles, the bar just looked like a breakfast counter. It took us a few minutes to figure out that there indeed was a bar, at which point we decided to walk in, but we were denied service. We think the bar closes too early on a Saturday night for the level of class and service of the Renaissance hotel, and are disappointed with how our evening ended.

Went here on Valentines day and was a bit worried as it was located within a hotel, but decided to take the chance as many other places were booked and this place looked worth giving a chance. I worried for naught, I enjoyed everything! The ambience, service, and food were all great. The server was very patient and was happy to talk about the questions we had about the menu. We ordered a lot of his recommendations (unfortunately I cant remember his name), and Im glad we did because everything was great. The brussel sprouts were crisped and seasoned just right, pork belly and steak were cooked to the perfect level of chewiness, and the desserts were sweet and interesting, in a good way. We will be coming back again soon.

I came here for a girls night and we were so impressed with this place!! I was hesitant because everyone knows hotel restaurants are hardly ever pursued, but boy was I wrong about Asador! Literally everything we had was full of flavor and delicious! I hate I can t remember our servers name but he was exceptional. A few things you must try: Pineapple & Bacon Guacamole Caprese Salad Chorizo Shrimp & Grits (10/10 Recommend) Peach Cobbler I really enjoyed this place.
