The service was impressively quick, ensuring that we didnt have to wait long to enjoy our meal. The staff were super friendly, making us feel welcome and attended to throughout our visit. The restaurant has a pretty big seating area, providing ample space for diners to sit comfortably without feeling crowded. It is my third visit and the food is delicious and the service very friendly, I saw that they had chilaquiles on the menu and decided to try them. They taste delicious but the portion for the price is super small. For that price, better eat one burrito.

We were looking to try a good burrito in Dallas! We got two of the El Campeon and they were good! Their salsas are really tasty, especially the jalapeño one. We also got the chips and dip trio and felt that the chips were too heavily salted and that there weren t enough of them for how much dip we got. The queso was also super thick, which made it difficult to eat without the chips breaking. For two burritos, chips and salsa/queso/guac to-go it was $37. The burritos were not as large as your typical burrito, so this price felt very expensive. The location is in downtown and didn t feel the safest, and you also have to pay for street parking. Overall it was a good burrito, but we felt it was much too expensive for what we got.

Update: Try their very good soup!! Be prepared to wait for your food. Not a quick lunch by any stretch. Allow extra time, or get there early. From the time I got in line to when I received my order of soup and salad it was over 30 minutes. Pretty good lunch! The soup was very thick, (like stew) and spicy so I added some beef broth I had a my office. Today I tried the chicken salad. Not as good as the beef Barbados I had last time. They still do not have a very mild option on salsa. All of the salsa choices were hot. Still Very busy and seating was hard to come by. The line was about 10 people deep when I showed up just after 12 on a Wednesday for lunch. Employees are friendly but seemed overwhelmed both times. Go outside of lunch hours, if you can. Today I did not feel the food made up for the long wait time. I don t usually have a full hour for lunch.

Literally EVERY time I get it delivered they get my order wrong. Most of the time they either dont add beans to the burrito or its just a tiny amount at one end. And my order is usually missing any extras. How do you mess this up? Filled with dry and undercooked rice usually. The best part about this place is the Piquin salsa. Most of the time the salsa is missing. Dont be fooled, usually the barabacoa is old and tastes rotten.

If you mess up street tacos, you simply shouldnt be working in a restaurant. One of my coworkers recommended Salsa Limon to me, so my lady and I slide through to give them a try. Location: C... Corner spot... If you arent paying close attention, youll drive right past it like I did. Small inside, but enough room to support the in & out crowd they receive. Staff: C... The cashier presented a lot of customer service skills. However, the rest of the staff didnt speak much English, which showed. Their lack of customer service was off putting, due to the language barrier. Food: D- The carne asada was lacking seasoning, and the corn tortilla were undercooked, leaving them tough. I requested cheese for my tacos expecting cojita cheese, but I noticed shredded cheese had been burned on top of my tortilla. Which gave my tacos an unnecessary amount of excess grease. I eventually removed the filling and ate that with my rice because the beans were spicy. Why?!? Nobody wants spicy refried beans...Ugh, this meal was a waste of time and money. I left the same way I came hungry!!!

Salsa Limón is an exceptional Mexican restaurant. The quesadillas were delicious, and the chips with queso blanco were a delightful treat. Outstanding food and service!

This place was a disappointment after first visiting the original spot in Fort Worth. I honestly wanted to give the food back and drive over to Fort Worth and would have, had I have the time. One thing I d recommend- make sure these restaurants have a uniform way of preparing food. I ordered breakfast tacos with cheese and in Fort Worth they melted the cheese to the tortillas which was AMAZING and in Dallas my tacos looked unappetizing they plopped mashed potatoes on top of my eggs and they were cold. I should ve taken a pic but Dallas y all need to do better for the sake of Salsa Limons reputation

Great place to eat, great neutral atmosphere, enough to give a great vibe but chill enough to not make you feel put out of place. And what taco shop do you know has a full bar thats not crazy expensive? Normally, I dislike burritos because there is too much tortilla, but here I truly leaned what a light meal feels like. I ate this while borrito, but I dont feel weighted down, I wasnt there, just chewing tortilla. It had flavor, it had texture, it had my vote for sure.

A clean and spacious Mexican restaurant. Tacos are reasonably priced and taste well. This is the first time I see shredded cabbage on tacos but it turns out that they work well with tacos. Happy hour gives me a discounted beer and free chips with salsa. That salsa has a nice kick, those who love spicy food would enjoy it. After I ordered, they will bring food to my table. There are four different sauces at your own service. Maybe this is the reason that tipping is not necessary here. The only trouble is that when their employees have a turnover, around 6 pm, they seem to have a break with food in the dinning area which is shared with customers, which is fine; but several of them were watching videos with extreme loud volume.

Editing my 3 year old review because the food quality and service have both declined sadly. The burritos are now literally half the size they used to be, they were out of chorizo at noon on a Sunday (like, how?), and the people working were the least friendly of any staff we ve ever encountered here. Truly unfortunate. This used to be our favorite place.

Too much going on with the taco in my opinion. Cheese on the tortillas and cabbage included.

This place is amazballz!! Came to Dallas to visit family. Took the Dart from Las Colinas to Downtown and walked 2 minutes to this hidden treasure! It s the best Mexican food in the Dallas area! We have breakfast bowls, barbacoa tacos, micheladas and carne asada tacos. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. Not one bad complaint for this customer. Please check it out when you are in the area. You will not be disappointed!
