We always go to dinner at that place but I agree with other peoples opinions, the last time I went, I ordered a shrimp broth and the truth is it leaves a lot to be desired, it doesnt taste like shrimp broth, I only had 4 shrimp and the rest was literally pure chili and carrot, they should pay attention to that, it doesnt matter that prices go up but that they improve their quality

My love for TexMex and Mexican cuisine leads me to many places lol. Since I live north, I wanted to explore what options Oak Cliff has to offer. That is how I found Las Ranitas. I ve been twice. Each time I have enjoyed what I ordered. I order the coolest appetizer called an Empaldito. It was pretty much a delicious 7 layer dip in a cool glass. Beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, ground beef, and tortilla chips make up this dish. It was very tasty I could not finish it all. They also make tasty chicken quesadillas. However, the best dish that I tried was their Pollo Verde Al Cilantro! It came with a potatoe covered in bacon and cheese. It was really tasty and different for TexMex. It was a good choice and just a wonderful combination of flavors . I really enjoyed the Fajita Bowl as well. I would order it again for sure. The presentation was nice as well. I haven t really had anything that I didn t like . My frozen margarita was yummy . I tried pina colada and strawberry. Both were good. I had two of them. The best part is the affordable prices! Each time that I have visited the restaurant I have enjoyed my meals. Las Ranitas is a solid choice for a date night, and grabbing a meal with family or friends. I recommend stopping by and checking them out.

I order steak enchiladas to go. During my work lunch. When I arrived to my work place the food was just two simple cheese enchiladas, no steak. I still pay for the full order. I don t know if this is the regular way of serving to go or just a mistake, but I had no time to go back to the restaurant. I was hesitant under all cheese.

Ive came to this place for years what upsets me we left a $9 cash tip on the table the waitress went ahead and charged herself a $10 tip on my card!! This made me lose trust in the establishment and it sucks. She was kind but I guess apparently she needed the money and it sucks. Its just $10 but I left you cash and you werent very attentive so why do that? But I read other reviews and Im not the first so it breaks my heart for someone like this to work there.

Ive always been passing by this restaurant, and for some reason, it just didnt get my attention. Now I kinda like going once a week so far the lunch specials have been very good. Restrooms are always clean, and the staff is always greeting everyone who visits. This place is also connected with a bar next door. It has a separate front entrance that appears not to belong or be part of the restaurant, but it is. You can listen to music, play pool and dance if you are up to it. Front parking has parking meters, and I didnt check if they actually worked. The side parking lot is very congested. It needs to be better arranged to where vehicles actually have enough space to park in one spot. Vegetarian options: Menu is not labeled as vegetarian, but you can definitely ask for a Taco Shell salad without the meat, bean and rice tacos, chips and salsa, etc.. Dietary restrictions: If you are vegan, it will be difficult to find a dish you can eat Parking: Dont park too close to other vehicles leave room for people to get in and out of their car. Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are a little close to each other, but Im sure they can make arrangements so you can dine comfortably.

Their tortilla soup is THE best tortilla soup and probably my favorite soup of all time. 10/10 my bf always orders their sour cream chicken enchiladas and the chips & queso, tortillas are great too Food is ready for takeout in 10-15 minutes every time we order Parking: 2 rows of free parking spaces directly on the right side of the building, & pay-to-park in front of the building. there are nearly always free parking available bc people often come in & out quickly for pickup. My family and I had not been here in a couple of years due to a really bad experience on a valentines dinner. Decided to give it another try, but should have just stayed away. From the moment we sat down it was atleast 10min before enyone even approached us and took our drink order. Menus where given to me and my wife but no menus provided for my kids. After placing our orders with appetizers, it was another 20min before our food came out, all our orders came out at the same time but no appetizers in sight. At this point we decided to start eating our main course, very bland food by the way, and towards the end of the meal they bring out the appetizers. Bad experience all around. We had also asked for some extra salsa that never arrived and very bad server attitude.

We went there today for dinner and the server Monica was very rude., She rolled her eyes and had an attitude since they sat us, every time we asked for something she was doing that. We asked for salsa twice and never brought it, we had to ask the busboy for it. If you dont like your job please go somewhere, we custumers dont like to see that attitude when we go out to eat. Unfortunately we all have different experiences, I had a very bad one, the place is nice but the food, at least mine, was very bad, to begin with they gave me the chips, some were stale, others were not, I told the waitress and she asked me if I wanted him to change them, that is not the best solution, why didnt he take action? His explanation was that at that time the kitchen people mix the new ones with the old ones and that many people have already complained about that. Later I ordered some elegant flautas, which to begin with put the cream on top and the dish was very poorly presented, the cream is put on top of the taco so that all the other ingredients stick, well ugly, I accepted it (its their way of serving them, I thought), when I ate one, well, not so bad, after juggling to put everything on top, second taco again rancid taste, I didnt think I was still eating and that rancid taste came again, I told the girl again and she said: do you want me to tell the cashier so she doesnt charge you?, she didnt come back to take action, I never go to a place expecting not to be charged. I went and paid but my visit was very unfortunate, when I saw the place I wanted to return with my family again, but I dont think I will return.
