I was very lucky to find Guerrini & Thompson to assist with my LTD claim. These claims are very complicated and a mistake can leave you with no options. They are very well versed in the process and do an excellent job of explaining how the system works. Mr Guerrini initially spoke with me about my claim. He spent over an hour on the phone with me going over the process and what to expect. They sent very clearly written notes on what to expect. Eventually we ended up doing meditation. Mr Thompson lead the meditation. It was very obvious, very early in the meditation, he knew what he was doing! We settled the claim during the meditation session. I highly recommend them for your ERISA claims!

Absolutely wonderful people to work with, despite a considerable amount of unnecessary aggravation, even for an insurance claim! I had concerns about my disability case, so I called Guerrini & Thompson. Unsure whether they would speak to me without a contract, I tried my luck. I reached the receptionist, and she assured me, someone would call me back. Fat chance! I thought, but I remained hopeful. A few hours later, I received a phone call from Mr. Guerrini. Guerrini and Thompson is what I call a law firm for the people. I was cut off of my long-term disability for no reason and I had nowhere to turn. I called several law firms that seemed as if they had no interest in what I was saying so I gave up but one morning I decided to give it one more try and thats when I opened up my computer and begin searching and I come across this law firm called Guerrini and Thompson. I spoke with Mr Thompson about 10 minutes in which he told me he specializes in these types of cases that he called ERISA. He stated that he will call me back in a couple days which he did and at that time he informed me that he would take the case and pretty much thats the end of it. I can tell you from my own experience that John Thompson is a lawyer you can depend on, John Thompson is a lawyer that would do exactly what he said he would do. John Thompson took my case and settle it for me for more than what I expected. This is the best part John Thompson is a lawyer that you can speak to pretty much whenever you have a question and theres no issue with getting in touch with him, that alone spoke volume to me because some lawyers you cant even speak to theyre too busy or either got something thats going on and they cant give you no advice as to whats going on with your case but not Mr Thompson,.So I can say honestly that Guerrini and Thompson is a law firm for the people. The truth is they were my last choice and with this they can be your first choice and your best choice and you can save yourself some time and stress by looking for lawyers that are going to turn you down. Mr Thompson I thank you so much for what you did for me and my family and I know this is what you went to school for but it goes beyond that you actually helped me out of a BAD SITUATION when I had nowhere to turn and I am forever grateful to you and your law firm. Speaking to Mr. Guerrini today was the most exhausting 7 minutes of my life. I asked about representation on my STD claim. His 2nd question was how much do I make. hen proceeded to advise me I would only get $500 for LTD for 12 months and it wouldnt be in their interest to represent me financially . With confusion, I advised him several times I dont have; nor am I calling about LTD or SSD. I educated him on how STD claims work within my company. He advised me I would only be entitled to 20% of income from LTD. Needless to say, I dont believe they actually handle STD claims at this office due to the lack of understanding shown on that call. I filed for long term disability and was immediately denied. I hired the Guerrini Law Firm at that time and after sending me for two tests, my LTD was approved. A year and a half later, they cut off my LTD and Mr. Guerrini suggested we take the case to court. The LTD company asked for mediation and Mr. John Thompson came to represent me. He spent hours going back and forth with the LTD company and ended up getting me a settlement that I was more than pleased with. This law firm will go above and beyond to help you get the benefits you deserve. I highly recommend them to anyone having trouble getting their LTD benefits.

Mr. Guerrini, along with Jane and Judy, have a special trait of being tough on the case but compassionate towards the clients issues. While the above makes for a positive working relationship, the purpose of said relationship is to obtain the RESULTS desired. Mr. Guerrini excelled in the RESULTS area. Any question or request was responded to that same day. I suspect the experience of the firms staff allows for the quick turnaround. I highly recommend Mr. Guerrini if you want RESULTS with your LTD issues.

You pay for short and long-term disability coverage through with your employers payroll deduction for years , expecting that when that health crisis happens, you will be able to rely on it to support you and your familys needs; only to have the insurance company deny your claim , even with documented proof from your doctors and surgeons. Not only are you now dealing with the stress and pain of a life altering health crisis; but now you have the added stress of figuring out how to successfully fight for the coverage you have paid for with weekly/monthly payroll deductions. Sadly, thats what happens regularly to many hardworking people. Your disability insurance company, figures that they can get away with it because you dont have the skill or knowledge to successfully contest your case with them in the court system. There are not many attorneys in the DFW area that specialize in these type disability insurance cases. Thank God for excellent attorneys like Mr. Guerrini. He and his staffs knowledge and skill, helped to get my disability insurance coverage reinstated and kept it that way for years. I highly recommend him!

I found Bernard and his staff to be very open, direct and courteous during the handling of my lawsuit against my LTD provider. Being disabled and mostly confined to bed it was a great comfort to me to have his team working on my case. Once I was able to put the lawsuit into Bernies hands and focus on my recovery the overall reduction in stress levels had a direct medical benefit. Dont do what I did and try to handle your disability claim and/or appeal alone!

Mr. Guerrini and his entire firm are top notch. I give them my highest recommendation. I researched many firms before selecting this firm. My short term disability had already been turned down after I had done everything I was asked to do, and this was after I was discharged from my job for being disabled! Mr. Guerrini listed fully to my history, then laid out his strategy without promising anything while at the same time installing confidence that we had a good chance of winning. As all things of this sort do, it took a long time, but my case was overturned on appeal! I could not believe it. His strategy worked 1, 2, 3. If you have an ERISA case, please contact this firm. My case was one of those that is very difficult to win on appeal, and he pulled it off. I am eternally grateful to him and his team.

As an attorney myself I understand the benefit of seeking out an expert. You want to think of the job like a surgeon and how you would not want to use an orthopedic surgeon to handle a heart surgery even though both are surgeons. By hiring a specialist to handle your claim you get someone recognized by the insurance company, knowledgeable about the process and documented successes in obtaining settlement or winning in litigation. I was impressed by Bernie along with his staff.
