I work in the construction industry and have had the good fortune to work with several incredible colleagues who were struggling to resolve their immigration status. One has worked with our company for nearly a decade without being able to gain a permanent visa or a path toward citizenship despite having children who are citizens themselves. Our experience working with Laura was outstanding. My family has visited many immigration lawyers over the past 15 years. None have made us feel more comfortable and seen than Laura. She took the time to explain all of the nuances regarding our case in a very clear way. Most attorneys that we have run into can be hard to reach and may not take the time to investigate difficult/special cases. Some may even withhold documentation and charge extra fees for any extra questions outside of the initial consultation. Laura was the complete opposite of those attorneys. She is very fair and makes sure to be reasonably available to her clients. Laura was kind to take my parents case as pro bono for filing the I-130 and Parole in Place through my brothers military status. She was responsive to our emails and explained the process to my mom who only speaks Spanish. Laura was able to file my parents residency papers in a quickly matter. She was always very kind on video calls and if we ever needed to see her in person, she was super kind and made us feel like everything was taken care of. She is also super covid aware and sanitizes!
