Please be aware! Last night myself and 3 other people were targeted by pickpockets at the bar. I was sober and still didn t notice a thing unfortunately. All of us had our wallets stolen and one had her phone stolen. We searched for hours but never found any of our stolen property. One of our friend s checking accounts was cleared out by the time she realized her wallet was gone.

I lost a copper bracelet here that s thin and has a silver belt buckle type clasp. If it is found please let me know because it was my Mom s and she died when I was younger so it is very important. There was one bartender white girl who served my friend a couple of drinks and after he tipped 18% she s said thanks in the most sarcastic way. So obviously I intentionally ordered some drinks and tipped her zero (I always tip) and watched her get so upset. She said don t ever come back here again . I just laughed in her face and proceeded to enjoy the rest of my night at Skellig. This bar is cool definitely appeals to the younger crowd.

My husband and I have frequented Skellig for 9 years. We go often for the great bartenders and to watch soccer and football. We just walked out and will never go back. Attention owners - the pandemic is over. Find wait staff that greets patrons, takes orders amd serves customers. You have waitresses on weekends (not slow days) that walk past their own tables carrying no food, running no drinks and not even noticing their customers are sitting there. They are socializing with the other staff, on their cell phones and acting like that s ok. I really miss how cool you used to be. now it s a Saturday and you re more than half empty. Im here to tell you youll be closing soon and it is because your staff stinks at their jobs. BYE

This literally just happened so I hope the bartender in the blue shirt reads this! Literally the best bar in Dallas. This creepy old guy was harassing me and my friend & the bar tender told the dude to leave us alone & called security to remove him. Lauren is the absolute worst. She forced me to get out of line after I waited for over an hour. I asked for her and her coworkers name, she refused me his. Lauren should definitely reconsider where she works due to her negligence and lack of resolution skills. In addition, Caleb should not be customer facing. He stated my boyfriend could not join me despite me saving his spot; between his attitude and his demeanor, I was deeply offended, unsatisfied, and embarrassed. They went as far as to have the local police remove us claiming we were uncooperative . I promise I will keep following up until I reach a resolution.

The bathroom waiting line situation is a mess. On my way back, I was redirected to a long waiting line to re-enter the seating area to be with my party. We had guest from out of town and the line to return back to my seat was at least 25 minutes. When you first arrive, we were not told that wed have to wait to be re-entered back into our seating area. The establishment is allotted XX amount of people in the main area that we were sitting in (according to city code) so if you go to the restroom, you have to wait in line for people to leave that area so you can get back to your party. I wont be returning.

It was my first time here and we went during the day. We were going somewhere that doesnt get too crowded. We also had an amazing waitress named Kassandra. Her smile was beautiful, and she recommended us plenty of choices they offered. Her service was great. The food was good. Came at the right time on a Saturday night. We arrived around 10pm and was able to walk in fairly quickly. We left around 11 and there was already a long line waiting to get in. Got a Moscow mule and loved it. They take tap to pay so its pretty nice. Parking can be difficult around the neighborhood but they do offer valet parking, which helps.

The Skellig might be my favorite bar in Dallas. It always has a fun atmosphere in which you can mingle with other patrons and make new friends. Football Saturdays in the daytime are also a great time. This place knows how to create a fun experience. The volume for the music is usually on point, not too loud. They know people would rather hear each other as opposed to trying to shout over the music. The Skellig is always a fun experience, and you will probably also make a few new friends each time.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE. i have been to this establishment 3 times and out of the 3 times i have gone here, they have fraudulently charged me $96 dollars the first time and $119 the second time. It is beyond disappointing and ridiculous that this is how they value their customers. I came here to enjoy a night with a couple family members in town to continually have to turn off my card because of their lack of security and how they do not value their customers. I shouldn t be afraid to order a $10 drink because I think over $100 will disappear from my account. Whatever card system they use saves everyone s card information after speaking with my bank, so BE CAREFUL before they screw you over too and you are out $200 in 2-3 weeks I spoke to the manager immediately and have not heard back from him in days. I will not return to this establishment and I hope the rest of you take my advice! I am appalled by Skellig and their employees and every moral characteristic they lack!

Not sure if this was just for tonight or is an every night thing but I came for the chicken strips and unfortunately the batter was poorly cooked so the chicken strips were still wet on the inside. Chicken didn t have great flavour. Fries were mediocre and certainly could ve been better salted. They were very busy tonight so I m wondering if maybe the chicken was just fried too quickly and as a result came out as it did. Nonetheless, we unfortunately were disappointed.

My Uncle of whom regulars there. Brought me there right before lunchtime began to hit. Their food, particularly the fried chicken and gravy, is to die for! On top of that, they have a fine selection of craft brews and with a wide selection to choose from! They were kind and interacted with me very well since it was my first time there.
