The fake reconstruction of what would have happened from that window is a real shame. Despite the Zapruder film, people still persist in maintaining that the fatal blow came from the book depository. A museum that makes no sense to exist in these terms.

Highly recommend getting to the museum early. We were there shortly after it opened and there was quite the group of people already viewing the exhibits. Displays are well written and are informative. The movies show actual video footage from that day or in that era. It was worth the admission price. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms were large and clean. There was a water fountain. There is a well-stocked gift shop.

The museum was awesome. I honestly wasnt that stoked to go there initially. I figured it was just people not capable of critical thought that went with whatever the Warren Commission narrative was (true, sorry not sorry). It was actually cool to be able to see firsthand the actual layout and that magic bullets do NOT exist. I thought the museum itself was just going to be pushing the Warren Commission narrative, and since it would be insulting to my intelligence, I thought it would be a bust. Im really glad I went. They dont really lead you in any specific direction, they just lay out historical facts and let you make up your own mind. Bravo, great landmark and I recommend people go here from an interest in American history. This place is wild.

As a teen I was fascinated with the JFK assassination. I finally got a chance to visit the scene and come to my own conclusion lol. Its quite the feeling being here; knowing what occurred here in 63. I got a chance to stand in the exact spot where James Files said he took the fatal shot. Theres an X in the middle of Elm Street, which marks the spot JFK lost his life. I didnt get a chance to visit inside Delay Plaza where Lee Harvey supposedly took the 3 shots due to not tour spots available. I will definitely go back to complete the tour.

I dont know who the white guy with white hair was operating. The front gate of the parking lot. I was trying to drop off some passengers from out of town and the man would not let me drive through to drop off the passengers. Ive been doing this for 12 years. Ive never had a complain today. The guy was an a****** about it in front of out of town passengers from Japan. Gave me an attitude and said if I pulled into the parking lot he would charge me 12 bucks. Like I said Ive been doing this for 12 years and nobody gave me that hard time. What has changed?

Interesting, sad and educational. Content is good although the order is confusing and I realised after I left that I had missed a Section! Wasnt happy about that. Good insight into the culture of the day and major events occurring in JFKs short time as president so we are left pondering what might have been. Make sure you watch the last video montage on level 7 before leaving. I recommend against children seeing it though.

Informative, I expected more, but good to be there just the same. Not many interactive exhibits. Large trees now block the view that one would have seen from the window to the convertible. The trees making selfies from the street difficult. Tickets online are $3 cheaper per ticket, but add a $1 convenience charge per and lock you into a timed arrivial window. Tickets at the door allows you to enter whenever you want. It is clean and quiet there. Gift shop is nice, with t shirts at $30 and up. There is onsite parking for $12, but it is a small lot. The website recommends a garage next door. It is $22 for 12 hours.

In this building, as they say, there is a shooter on the top floor? Which struck President Kennedy from the very top floor. He killed a good man, they give tours, but there s not much to see there, because you take the elevator and get to the floor, there are photos on the walls, and you are pointed to the window where the shooter was, the ticket costs 25 dollars, this is not a small amount, but for the sake of the great president it s worth going up and see where Oswald is supposed to have been sitting.

Do NOT go to this museum. The employees who work here are unreasonable and rude. Kristiana, the manager needs to be fired. Our family decided to have a downtown Dallas adventure to visit the museum. We took the DART as advertised on the museum website. Anyone who lives in Texas knows that you can t take public transportation without water when it s 100 degrees. Problem 1. Upon arriving in Downtown we ate lunch and got pies to go from Emporium Pies. Problem 2. Then we headed to the museum. Upon arrival we were asked is we had food or water. We were told we could not take it in and could leave the not eaten pie and water bottles outside in the 100 degree heat. We explained since we took DART we did not have a car to place our items in. We offered to keep them in our backpack. Told no. We offered to pay to check our backpack in the luggage area for $5. We were told no. We tried to find a solution but Kristiana got angry at us for trying to find a solution to the policy. She lectured us that no museums allowed food or drink. We understand the rule but after traveling an hour to the museum, we left without going and without even an apology or understanding of our situation. The museum lost the ticket sale and excited visitors. Our 13 year old son lost an opportunity to learn because the employees were unwilling to be human and help us find a solution.

This place did a really great job of telling JFKs story. He was before my time so I didnt particularly know his details but this museum did a great job of filling me in. I eventually got lost in the story. The part where they had photos of every second of him in the car to being assassinated was my favorite. It was the details for me. Life can change in a split second. They have a great reenactment video where you can imagine how it played out. You need time to get through the whole exhibit so plan for a minimum of 2 hours if you really want to get in to the storyline. $25 adult ticket which I feel is average for exhibits these days. Would highly recommend. Dont forget to go outside on the street and take a picture of the X

Book online for timed entry which is a few dollars less than buying at booth. Went around 1pm on Friday and it was rather busy. Museum definitely worth making a 1-1.5h visit to learn about this tragic piece of history.

We picked this museum spur of the moment after visiting the grassy knoll. Employees are very rude. For what this museum is the ticket prices are OUTRAGEOUS!!! You go in a room & read and look at pictures. Thats it!! Not for kids at all, I brought a teen and she was bored. What a waste of money.

I mean, I expected more than just copy paste from a JFK textbook/website for this museum. Absolutely no artifacts, extremely expensive, and just blocks of text. Watch a free YouTube documentary instead of spending $20+ per person. Pass from me.

Got a ticket from a tour group and showed up to museum at 4:16 pm(not exaggerating) and the doors were locked and a sign was on the door that they will lock the doors at 4:15. I pleaded to even talk to the rude man at the door, and all he did was make a cut across the throat motion and walked away. They wouldn t even come and talk to me. A couple were inside staring at me and wouldn t come to the door. Beyond rude and cowardly. Also my ticket does NOT Say door lock at 4:15. It states the business closest at 5:00.

Don t try to take your toddler. They get mad at you when they are babbling and making sounds so then I tried to walk him around while my family looked around and they told me I couldn t do that either. They literally followed me around talking on their ear pieces. He s 14 months old. What did they think he was going to do? What a waste of $98. I finally had to leave because it s not kid friendly at all. They don t want your kids there.

A very good museum about the terrible See assassination attempt. Everything is described in great detail and there is also a film about it. The museum is right next to the crime scene. The entrance fee is OK, but for me its almost too expensive for four people. But you definitely have to be there

VERY BORING FOR KIDS Not very interactive the only good thing is that they have the exact place where the shooter was. They also have CANDY cigarettes. It was fun but mostly boring but I would say other people might enjoy!
