Not like it is just D/FW with traffic issues but it cant be that difficult to be in the lane well before the exit. Beating/gaining 1 car to screw up all the other lanes really gained you nothing. Some should really drive in the slow lane non stop and not screw up the rest of the lanes for others

If you want to get mildly crazy during your next commute, make sure you pass through the high 5!!!! Your passengers can throw their hands in the air and pretend they are on a rollercoaster as you go up and down the ridiculously tall 5 level interchange that goes up to 12 stories tall. Why can you Google review this? No idea! 11/10 Mild thrills for people who pay bills.

Love the bike trail and seeing all the flow from the Dallas roads all come together to pass by Texas Instruments TI, a back bone of the times in Computers, inventions, and a military grade corporation unit!! Lol, love seeing what new electricity station is going to pop up and what new under ground lift is going to be put in under the freeway and bridges over there!! Can we say underground aqueducts are always manned, no in drone surveillance there its always live real people in always around!!

An engineering feat. Ive noticed a number of reviewers blaming the high-5 for the inefficiencies in traffic, they are forgetting the main component of traffic jams is user error. During peak hours, I prefer the tollway however, more often than not; a spin on the High Five can be quite enjoyable.

Why is this marked as a Historical Landmark? What would probably go on the books is how its so poorly designed, how many hours spent stuck in traffic, how many accidents there are, and how horrible people navigate it.

I remember this interchange back in 1983 before they upgraded it. It was a mess back then too, only less complicated! 75 was stop and go all day and night back then. The LBJ was jammed but moved at 65 mph bumper-to-bumper. Very thrilling. Texas - where the roads keep getting bigger and the traffic keeps getting worse.

Terrifying for those who are not real experienced drivers and hate heights. I drove it with white-knuckle hands. Unfortunately, one of my only available routes. Back 8n Texas after years somewhere else, with horrible roads. I must say its nice to see the extra effort put into the freeways, signage and making freeways look attractive and accessible. Much better than other places Ive lived in.
