Received a call from them. They stated that we owe a balance of $344 and that we made one payment last year. I was trying to ask for more details on what the balance is for but got hung up on my a Ms. Lopez . She did say the call is on a recorded line so go back and listen to our conversation cause I barely got a word in before she clicked. If you don t like your job I don t know what to tell you.

This place is a scam. They are constantly adding a medical bill from a ENT visit I had back in 2022 that was paid by my insurance back to my credit report everytime I have it removed. They have already been provided with payment info that shows it was paid by my insurance from both TransUnion and Equifax everytime Ive disputed it. The credit bureaus remove it and a few months later this company adds it back to my report. Will be going into the office tomorrow and talking with someone about this because this is the 4th time Ive had it added back to my credit report.

I was harassed several times by phone by this company the middle of December. Very rude. She kept referring to a letter that was sent to me that i received yesterday!!! almost a month later than their call!!! And the bill was paid in December directly to the provider. It is not necessary to be so nasty when making these calls, especially when we receive so many scam calls these days. She kept saying I received information I did not!!!

Very ghetto. FDCPA violations all throughout my contact and supervisor wanted me to list them for her. Told her to listen to call. They did the right thing on one credit bureau and refused to correct their error on another. Cannot get the laws straight. Impossible to deal with. CPB will be interested in hearing more. I am sure their file is huge on this business.

I received a call from Ms. House, a rep at RS Clark and Associates. She was very informative and helpful in setting up a payment at a time suitable for me. She was pleasant, and was genuinely interested in helping me resolve this issue to get it off my credit report. It is rare that I encounter a debt collector that makes me smile. Ms. House made me feel like I had accomplished something, instead of feeling judged.

I am giving a 5 star review because I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Wayne Rider. He was calm, amazing, and convinced me to pay my debt in full. The first 3 people that I talked to from this company were horrible. I had plans of writing a bad review before but life got in the way. I am so glad that Wayne called me today. The bill that I had with them is relatively small but I had made up my mind that I was going to leave it unpaid. The other folks that I did not bother to remember their names made me sooo upset. One guy I flat out told him that I would not pay the bill and hung up. Another girl was sooooo rude that I had to curse her out. 6.5 months pregnant and was in the process of finding another doctor and was referred to a doctor associated with this collection agency, so just recently realized I may have debt with them. I called and spoke with mrs hill first they have an address on my account that Ive never lived and she was the most rude, unprofessional person Ive ever spoken to she kept over talking and interrupting me while Im just calling to get clarity on the debt and she eventually hung up the phone in my face. I call back and spoke to a supposed supervisor mrs house who was trying to be helpful at first but turned out to he just a rude. Understandable this being a debt collection agency but rudeness doesnt help any party involved. Next time try a little professional courtesy and up training for your agents is needed asap.

Edit: 5/31/19 Ms Hill and Ms Pam claim they are the supervisor and Manager yet, surprise surprise when you try to escalate the issue they try to short change you and bs about when the GM will be in. Ms Pam is the most unprofessional person Ive EVER dealt with. And when mentioning the customer service aspect, she felt the need to mention she isnt that shes in collections. Well no duh! However, your line of work should have some form of customer service which, she lacks ANY capacity. This company thus far, is a joke. Mr Rowden, I expect a phone call first thing Monday, June 3rd 2019, you have less than desirable people working for you, and I am being VERY kind in my word choice, I suggest you save this case cause I will take legal actions if I need to. The only reason these people are even in my life is because years ago I had a newborn and lost my job, and got evicted and my debt was bought out by them, and THEN when I call and try to pay towards it, Im told no I have to pay in full that the PROPERTY doesnt negotiate.. I was pleasantly surprised by this company this afternoon. My husband and I are trying our best to clean up our credit and buy a house and I had an old bill that was paid to this company. My credit specialist advised me to call and ask if they would remove it and the lady I spoke to was very helpful and stated that they could do this for me. I keep being lied to by your company. My husband has a collection in his name a collection from a PRIVATE housing company located on a military base. At first I was told that I could not settle because theyre part of the military and they do not settle debts. Then I was told that it is apart of the contract you have between the housing company. So I called the housing company who told me THEMSELVES that they are private and although they are located on a military base they are in no way affiliated with the military. They also told me that when they send accounts to collections that they are paid a certain percentage (you guys buy the debt) and it is 100% completely in you hands thereafter. I am being scammed into believing that you guys cant settle my debt just because you guys want the full amount. I have left a voice mail with whom I believe is the main person in charge and have yet to receive a call back.

I rarely give reviews but truly felt like this one was deserved. I have been trying to tie up all my lose ends before purchasing a house and ran into a few medical bills that went into collections. After MONTHS of dealing with different credit agencies and bureaus I was frustrated, especially since they were all very old accounts. I checked one last time to make sure everything was handled on my credit report but then realized I missed one, RS Clark and Associates. By the time I called them it was the end of the day and I was emotionally exhausted but then a kind-voiced woman, Pamela Walpool, answered the phone. I just got off the phone with a Ms. Hill. Every time I have called I seem to get the same attitude from every employee. As though you train them to have a permanent chip on their shoulder. I have been trying to take care of a medical bill for literally 5 years! I have requested they update my address and send me a paper statement so that I can mail payments or pay online. Ms. Hill very rudely said that they have mailed me one per my last request back in November of 2015 (my last call was on July 18, 2016), I have yet to receive a statement not one. Instead of taking my call and saying she will put in my request for a statement to be mailed (Although it should be automatically mailed if I still have a past due balance) she kept talking over me and saying Are you going to let me finish And then proceeded to offer me their deal of the day I would love for the company to re listen to my call and see how calmly I started that call. It was not until the end that I told her she was very rude. Secondly, the last time I called I tried to make a payment over the phone of what I could when I could. However I was informed that the minimum payment they could accept was $50. I was being bullied into paying more than I could at the time. I told them I could pay $20, and maybe in a few weeks pay $40, and then maybe $30... but on that day I was not able to pay $50. They rejected my offer to make A PAYMENT all together!! So what could have been paid off a long time ago hasnt because who wants to deal with these people and their bad attitudes. I would rather have this stupid $300 bill sit on my credit than to deal with this terrible company that I have tried to work with!

I would first like to state that I give very fair reviews, so fair that I seldom give good reviews; however, my experience with R.S. Clark & Associates today, at around 9:00am on September 26, 2016, was very pleasant and hassle-free. Im not sure if there have been many changes made recently, and I was a little apprehensive to call based on the many negative reviews that I saw here; although I did not have a bad experience at all nor did I experience any of what the reviewers here have mentioned of their experiences. The agent that I spoke with, Mrs. House, was very polite and friendly; she started by identifying herself, and she asked me what I was calling for, and how she could help me. I asked about the details of my account and balance, and she was more than happy to provide me with the information. My balance was not very high, and I paid it off in full. They took my payment over the phone after transferring me to a secured line with a payment specialist. Overall very professional and hassle-free, just the way I like it. Based on my experience today, I do recommend doing business with this establishment.

My experience with RS Clark & Associates was nothing but positive, and I really appreciate how quick they were to respond to my inquiries. I was able to obtain the information I needed to pay my debt in less than five minutes on the phone, and just now received a letter in the mail informing me that my debt is paid in full. They were considerate and attentive, and they made my first and only experience working with a debt collector less intimidating and frightening than I ever could have imagined it would be! A huge thanks to Mr. Andrews and all of those working at RS Clark & Associates!

I Do Not Know These People!!! I am a victum of identity theft! Easy to prove with the legal documentstion filed with the US Dept. of Justice... This company has had representstives calling me on my job threatening me, and calling me after 8 pm! I have even had multiple employees from this company threaten to come to my job and petsonally have the police remove me from work and they have threatened to call my supetvisors and have me fired! This is ILLEGAL! All of this has been witnessed. By Law...I have repeatedly informed them Do Not Ever Call Me Again!, Yet after consulting with multiple sttorneys including a family member, who is a corporate attorney, their actions are NOT LEGAL! This company has very rude obnoxious people who threaten others...in my case most definitely not legally!!! I am on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Awful! These people just put you on hold and hope you will go away. Mrs. Hopkins is the worst customer service person I have ever experienced. I had a report made by them against my credit that was a mistake. It was brought to their attention in March and they corrected it but not until April 1st and then still have not reported the mistake to the credit bureau so it is still on my account. Even though the mistake was theirs, they have no interest in getting it cleared up before before May. In the mean time it is causing be all sorts of trouble with a home loan. When I asked for help in getting it expedited since they had been slow, she terminated the call. this was after putting me on hold for 25 minutes. AWFUL!!!!!!!

Thats kinda of customer service I rather just let go on my credit and have it removed later. you think they would accept what you can give them instead of nothing at all. Horrible and rude management as well!! I get their job is stressful but think about the customer situation as well before you take your stressful day out on them.

Today I called to investigate an account under collections that i discovered after checking my credit score. First of all, I called and Mrs. Hopkins answered. She is pretty rude. I understand that a collector life is a hard one, but her phone etiquette skills could be much better. RS Clark and Associates is charging me for a doctor visit that I never even been to. The clinics themselves dont even have records on me that I have ever been a patient with them, yet RS Clark still has me under collections. Ms. Hopkins was able to give me more information once I was finally able to get my account number, I guess thats how you root out the people that actually want to resolve their problem, by making them go through the hassle of getting the account number -.- Anyways, she had my name and date birth correct, but my home address was totally incorrect. Since there are so many Jesus Rodriguez in America, this is proof that they are holding the wrong Jesus Rodriguez liable for their collection as I have never even been contacted by them to collect my debt. It is very inconvenient that I now have a ruined credit score because of mistakes like these. She instructed me to create a letter and fax it to them disputing my account, so thats what I did, and I will fax it and mail it tomorrow. This doesnt sound like an issue that would take 3 years to fix, so i will not hesitate to take legal action against RS Clark, because after all a ruined Credit Score is nothing to mess with in America, in America, a good credit score is everything. Btw, I do not want a generic response to this post. I want the discrepancy fixed and the person who is in fact responsible to be held liable, not me.

Had a bad experience with Mrs Hopkins- I call to negotiate an out standing bill that i dint even know it existed until requested my credit report. i call the hospital were the bill original came from from and they referred me back to then rs clarks to negotiate the bill. I work here. Its a great local company to work for. Im sorry to hear that some people are upset with our service. Im an account manager for the company and the only one at that. So for the most part the buck stops with me. My office is two doors away from our call center and I have sat in on many of these calls to see how we are treating the debtors. Audits are done regularly at least once a week. Every office has a camera installed in it. And every single phone call is recorded. We can very easily disprove a lot of these complaints that people post. We just settled a dispute from 2010 yesterday as a matter of fact. We can go back years and years through terabytes of recordings. And prove if we did something wrong or not. There has only been a few times in 20 years where we were at fault and an employee was terminated. The hardest part is keeping people here. Collectors walk out all the time because of how they are treated by the debtor. Whats these people go through in this industry is very painful to see. We are proud of our collectors and stand up for them when they have followed all laws and company policies.

No one there answers the phone. When they contact me they are extreamly rude. They make false statements: This is your resonsiblity you need to make time to make a check out to use ASAP. As Ive stated to them the issue was resolved with the original company and was setteled. A woman came on the phone and stated that they bought my debt and now they needed to make a profit: So PAY UP
