We recently celebrated our 54th Family Reunion at the Southern Cross Ranch in Dallas, Texas. It was everything that we hoped it would be. The facility is ideal for large or smaller families. Everything was perfect. The food was great. The main hall was spacious and plenty of room to do all kinds of games and activities. All in attendance expressed what a wonderful time that they had. We worked with Katie. She was awesome She made sure we had everything that we needed and she was very accomodating to our needs. All of the staff were very helpful and made sure things moved along smoothly. If you are looking for a Venue that has everything that you can imagine for an unforgettable Family Reunion the Southern Cross Ranch is the place. Thank you Katie and your staff. I was here for a staff appreciation luncheon. The venue is large enough for events and many outdoor activities, lots of shady areas, too. However, the AP system is not that great, and the stage needs an upgrade and is wobbling. More vegetarian options are much more needed because the bean burgers were mushy in the middle.

This place is absolutely fun! This past weekend was my family s second time reserving. Katy made everything easy and her communication was amazing! There is, literally, an activity for everyone to do. From swimming to basketball to fishing. My family and I already discussed booking again!

Our company had over 200 of our employees and their families attend Southern Cross last weekend. Everyone had a wonderful time, Katy and her team were fantastic, and the food was delicious. We are planning on making this a yearly event.

We hosted our Thanksgiving in Recovery event here and everything was amazing. Katy and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. The food was AMAZING! We had a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Looking forward to additional events in the future. Thank you Southern Cross staff for everything!

The Southern Cross venue was a perfect selection for our companys Family Fun Day 2 years in a row. Katy and her staff were helpful, friendly and most importantly accommodating. Some guests mentioned to me that there are plenty of activities to participate in. The food was very delicious and most of our guest had seconds.

Katy and the entire team at the Southern Cross are amazing! They handle all the details from start to finish making event planning a breeze. Our organization has hosted an annual family picnic with 500+ people at the Southern Cross for several years. It is one of our favorite events of the year for both families and staff. There are lots of fun activities for all ages, great food options, and lots of room to hang out and enjoy one anothers company.

Came for a school event. The place is big, and there s plenty of space for kids to play soccer, softball, football. The pool is not that big but worked well enough. They do have plenty of umbrellas and shade areas. The petting zoo was disappointing. The staff was great so that s why the high rating.

We had a Family Fun Day for my work to celebrate our 30 year anniversary at Southern Cross and it was a BLAST! Everyone at Southern Cross was friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. The planning process went smoothly and I was so thankful for that! Thank you for everything! Everyone had a great time and we hope to be back again!

This place is great! I attended a beautiful wedding there. There was plenty of space for a large number of guests to dine and dance. I ve been there on other occasions with family and friends. They have a wide variety of activities for all ages.

I am an event producer and reached out to this venue to inquire about hosting a corporate event there. In the end, we did not select the Southern Cross but it wasnt due to an issue with the venue - our needs changed. So while I can not speak to hosting an event, the sales process was extremely smooth and gave me complete confidence that had I booked with them the event would have gone just as smoothly. I do hope to be able to work with them one day!

Had a company party here. It was okay! Rock climbing, walking, corn hole, fishing, basketball, paddle boats, ping pong. Volleyball. Pool was closed. Horseshoe toss was too. Ping pong looked like it hadnt been touched in ages, as did the horse shoe toss and basketball. Nice lawn and grass areas though. Fishing pond only seemed to have catfish in it. Bring your own fishing gear. None is provided. If youre not going free for an employers event, Im not sure its worth the entrance price I saw posted. Thats just me though. They definitely need to fix some things and update it a bit.

Ive attended many functions here and they have all been well worth the attendance. Great staff, large venue, ample space for corporate, weddings, or outdoor team building events. Im sure its capabilities in diversity is right up there alley. A must check out and attend!

Went for a Senior Class trip. The petting zoo has 3-4 animals. and a . The pool was closed due to chemicals being added they day we come . Kids were ready to go when we got there. Basketball goals are broken. The most fun was either rock climbing, or sand volleyball beware of sticker bug plants in grass. Made for kids opinion 13 and below.

This is a LARGE event venue. I was recently here as a hired gun (Photographer) to capture an event with 300 people and do (31] head shots for the corporate website. Plenty of room for more people, cool Dallas Skyline wall art and the food was excellent (Mexican cuisine). Lots of parking and a beautiful setting.

Location seems a little dated and in need of some sprucing up. My daughter attended a camp there and although she had fun, I was less than impressed when I attended parents day. I witnessed a lifeguard yelling at one of the children when she was no more than a child herself. When I spoke with someone on facebook about my daughter losing something at the pool, they were super nice. I do appreciate that and that increased my rating by a star.

Southern Cross/Trinity Forest great food and fun for the family. If you need a banquet hall for a corporate event or family reunion come check them out lots of things to do something for the whole Fam! From rock climbing and paddle boating, bring your own fishing pole so you can fish!. If your feeling adventurous come check out thier Obstacle courses and huge zip lines. You wont be disappointed.

Our Credit Union has hosted their annual picnic here for then past 3 years. The BBQ was amazing. All the activities were available for the kids to do including swimming, paddle boat rides, volleyball and the petting zoo. I would definitely recommend Southern Cross for family reunions, corporate events Etc.

Its very surprising some reviews stated the food was good. 80% of our family beg to differ. It was not appetizing at all. Meats were poorly seasoned! We can all agree hot dogs were edible however they ran out & failed to replenish. The staff & atmosphere was great. But they just couldnt make up for those sliced up smoked sausages, unseasoned brisket & chicken pawned off as TX BBQ Brad (owner) perhaps you should allow families to taste test your menu & expand menu with fruits instead of brownies. Also provide the children with Popsicles or ice cream after playing outside in the hot, TX sun.

She was very friendly and most helpful. Being from out of state trying to set-up a family reunion, can be stressful. It was very nice to know that this company was willing to make it go as smooth as possible, they were able to answering all my questions throughout the process. I was most appreciative.

I went there for a senior picnic today. I went the whole day not being able to eat because they did not have any dairy free or meat free items. I am allergic to both things. When we called to ask why they stated that they did have options for us and that they were not going to argue becAuse we are lying. Very rude costumer service.
