Stopped in for Sunday brunch, loved sitting on the patio and that it was pet friendly! I m so thankful they were willing to open the patio for my group on short notice. Ashia took care of us and she was amazing! Very attentive and helpful. The crab spinach dip is amazing! Love the mocktails but was surprised to see them priced higher than cocktails. Ordered shrimp grits, the grits were congealed but the shrimp were flavored well! Parking: Free parking during the week but valet required for brunch.

Came to Dallas for a conference and my daughter suggested this place and I m so glad she did! Firstly, the customer service is bar none!!! In particular, there is a server named Asia who comes from an authentic place of heartfelt service! Her personality was worthy of more than the standard tip and that s exactly what we did! Then there s Chef Hunner (no T ; lol-private joke). He is an amazing chef and came to each table to interact with guests and was so nice! Can t wait to check out his other restaurant next time I m in town! Dude is great at what he does. Keep up the good work guys! Your place was EXCELLENCE from start to finish tonight and I m so proud it s Black owned!

Really was excited to try this out of the way place . Asked to move our convenient table for a table the hostess said we had to sit at because of rotation??? Ravioli was under cooked, they had NO oysters???? I thought they were known for their oysters. Out of oysters on a Friday lunch???? Hostess was rude, with no personality. Our server was nice. Last night was my cousin and I first time here and I loved the vibe. Only complaint I have is I ordered something and at the time it should ve been coming out they ended up telling me they are out. I can say the manager on duty definitely did accommodate us for it. If youre 37 and older come when they OPEN for Brunch (10:00 a.m.) or a weekday for dinner but DONT come on Saturday & Sunday Brunch after 1:00 p.m. (thats when the gremlins show up & dont throw water on them, they multiple). Im 45 and the young adults in here were extremely rude. We almost turned around when we saw the girls dressed in just panties getting out of their cars in valet, and the little girls sitting at the bar beyond rude (nasty attitudes, entitlement is an understatement). No one said excuse me as they bumped into you or didnt want you to walk by. I have a 23-year-old and a 21-year-old and let me find out this is how they act when I am not around (a problem). Honestly, it feels like being nasty is the new look. This crowd on a Saturday Brunch and I heard Sunday was worse is a complete NO for me. So please be warned! However, the staff did an amazing job! Hannah our server was great and made up for the horrible experiences I had at the bar, her personality alone will make me return (during the week). The food was delicious and came to us quickly. For reference I had the Southern Hennessy at the bar, my drink was so good. Once seated with Hannah which was a joy from the jump, I had a mimosa, and French toast meal & added a catfish. I am giving it 5 Stars, because the food, the server, the bartender, the staff, starting at the front door, and even the valet were funny and welcoming, and the music made me enjoy my experience even more. They cant control nasty attitudes that walk through the door.

This was my first time here and let me say, it is very difficult to find if you re not paying attention. For brunch, valet parking is only available so if you don t want to pay that $15($16 if you don t have cash) then maybe uber but that maybe more. They will only seat you if your whole party is there. My food was good. Nicely seasoned. We ordered, chicken and waffles, boudin egg rolls, gumbo and the lamb chop breakfast. My only complaint was the egg rolls weren t as fresh as I would like. Deandra was a great waitress. She was very attentive and met all of our needs. The atmosphere is definitely for a more 21 and up crowd. The biggest downfall is they asked us to leave as I was still drinking my drink. No one was even waiting at the door.

Had a girls day out here on Saturday, 9/14. We were a party of 7. We chose to go here for the following reasons: proximity to the movie theater we visited, good food & drinks, and good vibes! It was a rocky start with miscommunication about the seating. All details were not given at the time one of us arrived to get our name on the list for a table. She was told upon arrival that we would be seated once everyone arrived. We all arrived within 10 minutes from that statement, advised the hostess and were still not seated until 45 minutes later. Apparently, they close down for 1 hour for shift change, but that didn t happen this time. I found this information out from my cousin who is a regular, not from the staff. When we asked about being seated again because obviously the shutdown didn t happen, the hostess said they were cleaning. (No one was cleaning, it only got done after we said something) We were then sat at the table behind the one they cleaned (which was already clean) The hostess could have done better in that aspect. We sat down, ordered drinks and appetizers. I ordered a drink with a double shot, my app was a Caesar salad (highly recommend). When the waitress brought out my drink, it turned out to be plural. We thought it was a mistake and they just ended up giving it to my friend because it was her birthday. It turned out it wasn t a mistake the bartender can t bartend. Instead of pouring my double shot in the 1 drink, she made me 2 of the same drinks with one shot each. Then the drink had hair in it . Please re-train this young lady or put her at the hostess stand or as a waitress. She was very sweet when we were sitting at the bar chatting, but drink making is not in her skill set as we watched her improperly make a lot of drinks. She poured all juice in peoples drinks and tried to eye ball the liquor instead of measuring. I still paid for the drink. The other bartender remade my drink and made it so right I had to share it. Mind you I still had 1/2 originals, so yeah. lol I had the Kajun chicken pasta with shrimp and garlic bread. It was so delicious. On the table in general, we had oysters, salmon Caesar salad, ramen, & fish baskets. Nothing but high praises for the food, we recommend all, especially the fish! The waitress also did her best to curate a good experience. The camera man coming around was also a highlight. Pictures were $20, it comes in a glass frame, so it was worth it! The experience was overall good, I particularly pay attention to the handling of a situation when it arises, and everyone did great at keeping their composure under high stress.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would!! I ll NEVER come back to eat at @localtapandtable again I went last night, which I normally go and love everything, but last night was terrible waited 20 mins before someone even came to our table with water, just water not even our drinks. Our drinks ended up getting cancelled later because they never came!! I had ordered additional food that never came!! My friend that was with me food didn t come until we got the check! After they said they would discount our bill, they were acting as if it was a hassle when we couldn t even get simple service! Our waitress only came 1 time, which was to get water in the beginning. They charged me a $25 hold, which I still haven t received back, along with a gratuity when I barely had service or food!!! It was an absolute catastrophe last night, even the table across from us was having trouble! The manager kept trying to blame it on the kitchen, which it was both the staff and kitchen because we only saw our waitress 1 time, which it was a white couple that came in after us and was served before us, they were served during the duration of their time, and left wayyyy before us while we were still waiting on food?? I m just disappointed all around and will continue to leave reviews and spread the word because as a community, why would you treat your people like that, especially who have been supportive of you??

I want to start by saying Mia was an amazing server...yet the manager came to the table due to several members of our dinner birthday party had been waiting 52mins for their food. One member never got her food and all the manager offered was 35% off of those who had to wait. This was a horrible experience and the fact that I paid $135 wasnt the issue its the manager didnt take ownership of the issue. She came and blamed and head chef who according to her has left for the evening. I was completely disgusted with how this was handled.

The DJ was the best thing about the spot! He gets 4 stars. The food was salty and brought to our table by the waiter holding our bowl around the rim and there was a bug in the $5 side dish of rice! When we brought it to the managers attention she excused it and said the serving trays had all been broken. I am pretty gracious but I did NOT have the experience the others spoke of. Let me preface this review by saying that the age group that patron this establishment on this particular Sunday Brunch is not my demographic. We happened to get seated in a section that was celebrating two separate birthday Girls with parties of more than 5. After waiting outside in 100-degree TX weather for about 15 minutes, we would have taken anything. It was a packed spot! Music was good, but way too loud to hold a conversation with anyone youre breaking bread with. We were seated near the bar, and I dont know if that makes a difference, but just know over in that area. Cheeks be out! The personnel, from the hostess to our waitress, werent bad, just MEHHHH! The FOOD is what I would endure everything else for! Chefs Kiss, REAL TALK Our Food came out PIPPIN HOT and Delicious. My Husband and I both had the catfish basket and added the boudin crawfish egg rolls and then added the onion rings It was SO GOOD My son had the Breakfast Burger and he slammed it! Everything that hit our table was good except for my drink. It was some sour yellow thing that I DONT recommend. They ordered something else off of the mocktail menu that was OK. I had the pleasure of dining at Local Tap and Table recently and was fortunate to be served by Jasmine. Her attentive and friendly service truly enhanced the experience. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. I ordered the salmon bowl, and it was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. This is the ticket for my 5 year old and myself. My brother paid for his own ticket. It was 3 of us & gratuity was added. This was our 1st time, we will not be back. The walk up the hill in the heat was ridiculous and only way to avoid this is by paying $15 for valet! In addition to paying for watered down mimosas? I think not. They should consider getting a better location separate from the apartment complex and apartment garage the restaurant is connected to. The only reason I gave 3 stars for food is because my 5yr old ate the 3 catfish & 4 shrimp. Most certainly not worth $25 but hey, we re in a recession so I get it. I traveled from Ennis, TX excited to try this place because IG hyped it up..I won t be wasting my gas again that s for sure. A word to the wise, the kitchen shuts down between 4p - 5p in the middle of the day so be mindful of that if you re a new customer and traveling.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Local Tap & Table recently. From the moment I walked in the door, I was made to feel like family. My waitress, Hannah, was absolutely amazing! She was attentive, communicated well, set my expectation on what was available at the time, and also EXTREMELY personable. Hannah made suggestions, answered questions efficiently, and made sure to check on the table often. The food is absolutely delectable. Everything is seasoned to perfection. Every dish I tried was seasoned, hot, and great! Quinn at the bar made sure the drinks were made to my specification and they were awesome.
