Been here a couple times. It s a cool place if you re going sober. The Vibes are chill. The drink I had was not so great but I ve been before and did have a good drink so I m going to try others but definitely recommend this place for a bad type vibe with out the booze

Overall, this kava bar was the best one my wife and I have been to in the DFW. Chris was very informative about all of the drink options they have. That guy is awesome! I highly recommend for anyone who is new to kava or kratom.

If you have been looking for a spot where there is community, event, and an opportunity to try sober alternatives, I highly recommend this. I am so glad I have found a little slice of community here, with people that are just happy to be there. From the Kavatenders willing to walk you through the process of trying the different drinks, to the patrons getting to know you, this has been my calm spot. I am glad I have been a customer for over a year now and I cannot wait for more to come and experience this as well. Dietary restrictions: They offer plenty of milk and creamer alternatives. They also have sugar free syrups if you are sensitive to sugar. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading straight to the bar!

I recently visited this trendy hipster spot and overall had a pretty good experience. The place has a cool, eclectic vibe that definitely caters to a younger, artsy crowd. I tried the uninfused tea, which was really good, though at $15, it was a bit on the pricey side. One thing to note is that while the ambiance is fun and stylish, it s not exactly a calm, relaxing place on the weekends it can get pretty loud. However, the owner is super cool and involved, which adds a nice personal touch to the experience. Despite the noise and the cost, it s definitely worth checking out if you re into unique, lively spots. Four stars!

First time at this establishment and first time trying kava. I came in rather late in the evening but everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The bartender did a great job of explaining kava/kratom and was very kind at the end of what seemed like a busy shift. The atmosphere is pleasant and it provides the feeling of a neighborhood bar without the alcohol. Definitely worth checking out!

This space is such a cool environment that gives you the bar atmosphere without the alcohol. They offer something different besides your normal intoxicants. Hey offer plants and other helpful and soothing remedies to our daily lives. Plus they have special events on certain days to bring variety to the space. Definitely a great place to hang and meet new people. Parking: Plenty of space to park

This bar has a unique, humble and earthy framework design. They specialize in therapeutic and euphoric drinks. They also substitute similar comparisions that relate to alcohol substituted drinks without the alcohol. The staff were kind and helpful. Thursday night they Nintendo games on a projector.

Great atmosphere, like a neighborhood bar without the drunks. Id never tried kava before and it was really pleasant. They also sell kratom drinks, I used to love kratom but I had to stop taking it for medical reasons. A word of advice - though its legal and relatively safe, kratom (the active ingredient in their Elixir) can sometimes have a powerful effect on some people. Its great, but if you dont want to risk feeling like you just chased a line of coke with some codeine cough syrup for a few hours, maybe stick to the kava, its pleasant but very mild.

Fun addition to the growing North Dallas sober scene. Especially love its right next to Trader Joes! Jackson (GM) and the kava-tenders are kind, cool, good folks. Everyone is super knowledgeable about all the products and will be able to help you get a great drink that fits to your preferences. My faves the big Fools Gold red vein with CBD lift. Always a chill, fun experience. LGBTQ+ & trans safe space, leashed animal friendly--dogs & cats have been spotted!

Friendly staff and patrons were 1 of many awesome things about this Kava bar. The staff was knowledgeable about the products. They were helpful, fast and gave some of the best service I have had in a long time. The music and lighting were on point. The bar was beautiful. There was a sense of community with all the events. My first time trying Kava and it was a great experience. Although its an acquired taste, the server was really nice and she walked us through the menu. My reason for rating lower stars is because of a health and safety concern. As I was in line to pay and leave, a new person came in for his shift and immediately started touching glassware. I dont know if he was making something just for himself or for a guest, but either way it was not cool of him to handle anything behind the bar before washing his hands. While the team created a welcoming and chill atmosphere for us, I was really disappointed seeing that at the end of my visit. Coming from a fellow food service worker, please please wash your hands.

This is an amazing community. Not only do you get amazing kava and kratom, but you also become part of something special. The kava-tenders are some of the most thoughtful and passionate people youll meet. The regulars welcome you into the community. You end up planning your days around the nightly activities. I didnt know what a Kava bar was before entering. The people and staff inside make the experience wonderful because everyone is friendly and talks to each other. They also allow dogs in there! Very calm and enjoyable vibes. No loud drunk people here. Loved it.

This was my first experience with Kava and Elixir (kratom), the Kava-tenders, and so nice and knowledgable. I was welcomed by Chris, and he gave me an in-depth overview of where Kava comes from and how it works. When you are a first time guest they welcome you with a complimentary Shell of Kava. The effects were very calming and relaxing. They do have other offerings coffee, espresso, and tea.

Nice service but was forced to try Kava without knowning full history. We were not asked if we wanted fo try it, we were just handed it. Kava is not good for the liver and I have liver problems... However, I loved the service and the setting. I would just recommend guests not being encouraged/forced kava unless they want to.

When I came to Dallas as a Florida Kava Bar owner I did not expect to find a kava bar never mind one that made me feel like home. I was wrong I found The Kava Bar and immediately raced over from my hotel. I was welcomed with a shell and the staff and I immediately hit it off. They do a great job explaining the products to new customer, they are attentive and do great events. It was my home base for the 3 days I was in Dallas and honestly when I left I missed it. I cannot wait to go back to Dallas and visit and now I know I have our community there. Jackson is a great manager and Garyn is one of the best kava tenders I have had at a kava bar. Great place highly recommend you try this place out.
