A great place to hang out and listen to live music. The bar has a unique atmosphere and a vibe reminiscent of old American movies filmed in 1980s. The food menu was simple, I ordered Burger of the Month and it was great. The only negative thing is that they charge $10 per person at the entrance, I guess for the live music!

Very unassuming place with amazing burgers. I was with a group of people from out of town and we walked there from the location where we were doing business. At first we hesitated to go in, but I am so glad we did! The bar tender was amazing and the burgers were incredible.

An authentic dive bar that has nothing to do with Oswald. The Grilled Cheese on jalapeno cheese bread w/added bacon was delicious, and I recommend the onion rings over the fries. The music was great, the outside ambiance wonderful, and you could carry on a conversation while folks danced and celebrated. The gal at the bar was super friendly, but tended to visit with patrons as much as serve drinks, so dont expect immediate service...just relax and soak up the vibe of the truly genuine cultural treasure.

Lee Harveys is an outstanding neighborhood dive bar with solid food, cold beer, friendly employees, and customers who enjoy engaging with strangers. Parking across the street is plentiful, and the outdoors dining area is a nice option for temperate days. I had a burger and rings, and enjoyed them thoroughly. Next time (I plan to go again tomorrow), I will try the fish and chips. I am quite pleased with this discovery, a unique and friendly place that exudes good vibes from every direction.

I remember coming here as a kid with my Aunt and Uncle as it was owned back then to my Aunts parents- Mr & Mrs Tesch. I loved coming here back then and when I walked into the door earlier, it felt like home. I remember playing pool, but there used to be an old fashion coke bottle machine in the corner that they used to stock up on Orange, Cream and Strawberry soda in glass bottles for us kids. My cousins; Todd, Cindy and Eric ran in for a while after their grandparents past away, but they ended up selling the bar. Good times and GREAT MEMORIES.

What a fun place! It s cheezy in a lovable sorta way. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful in making recommendations and altering menu items for dietary needs. Menu is not health food but they can cobble together some options that are tasty and fresh but watch out, they are heavy handed with the salt shaker Wish they offered a plant based burger. ***PS Lee Harvey s Mgr Beyond Burgers come frozen and cook better from a frozen state 3 min! So you could have them available with no risk of waste!! Overall it s a fun neighborhood joint and we will definitely return often!!

Lee Harvey s is an awesome dive type bar experience. Was in town for a conference from MN and found out the general manager is a Vikings Fan (no really wears the hat, has the phone background, and his phone plays the game horn! And he has a Matts Bar bumper sticker - IYKYK) Very affordable and strong drinks. And the food was yummy too!

Great place to kick back and drink beer. I also had a patty melt with onion rings, service for food was fast, beer was cold and atmosphere is great. Mt only complaint was there was only one bar tender, now she was doing a great job, but there was only one of her, and it took a while to get the check. I just didnt plan right, so it was me, but check them out yourself and let use know. As always my 2 cents.

One of my most favorite places to go in Dallas! The outside vibe with the skyline and live music cant be beat whether its a Sunday afternoon or evening show. The patty melt is THE best Ive ever had: generous sized patty served on cheddar jalapeno bread. And of course Naked Lunch, Steely Dan tribute band, was playing and theyre not to be missed. Fantastic as always! Kid-friendliness: Depending on the band, it would be okay for kids although theyd be bored. Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel yard there but they have ramps into the building.

I have been coming here for YEARS & before me - my dad came here for years! The food here is absolutely phenomenal. I personally love the BLT and the wings are always 10/10. I ve been coming here for close to two years, never has there been a bad experience. My besties and I feel safe enough to not worry about our drinks, we know the staff and owner strive to make it as much of a home as possible. The bar tenders are amazing and always greet with a smile and sarcastic comment, Aubrey especially. The food is absolutely top notch, the fish tacos are addicting AF. We came for our 6 month wedding anniversary as we are new to the neighborhood. 10$ cover per person on a place we wanted to go to...after saying no the door guy let us in. Thought it would go good from there but oh were we wrong. Sat at the bar, horrible service,made to feel like we were bothering the staff.....to the point the busser literally took our fry basket away from us while we ate. Bartender said everything was comped and taken care of because of the service and issues.left a 20$ tip and left, wake up to them attempting to charge my card almost 60$...slap in the face and ruined our night out. We will never go back. Update - After a month we finally got a refund..still wont be back though.

Dive bar on south side of Dallas. The area is looking more and more gentrified over time. I don t come here very often so changes to the neighborhood stick out a little more. We primarily come here in the spring and summer for the flea market. I think it s monthly but you will have to look it up to verify. Funky vendors and pretty good food. Parking is on the street but, as it s during the afternoon, it isn t crowded. Your mileage may vary if you re coming here in the evening.

I would have kept this review at 5 Stars if my comment did not get removed from Facebook. At one point this place was a nice place to visit on a Friday or Saturday night after a long week. It was perfect great food, drinks, music and great atmosphere. I was at this bar weekly, sometimes twice a week. That was until the night someone stepped in dog feces and the stuff did nothing to clean it up. I literally witnessed this restaurant become contaminated and I hadnt came back for months until last week. My last visit to this place was awful. The food was terrible, the drinks just werent poured properly and I have not mentioned the incident with the female bartender. We ordered two burgers and the burgers were not properly prepared. They were completely wrong and the bartender claimed she removed the charges when she only removed one of the charges and not the other. She was extremely loud, rude, and spoke to me like I was stupid in front people and itd already a highly frustrating situation. She, never did it, she said she would give me the money directly and she pulls two dollars out the cash registers and flicks it down. That is highly unacceptable when I have been attending this venue for years. This place just isnt worth it anymore and that fact that my comment was removed from FB regarding the incident, goes on to show that either someone is sweeping it under the rug or this company doesnt care

I had read in a magazine that Lee Harveys had the best hamburger in Texas. When I went to see my Doctor in Dallas, I went to Lee Harveys for lunch. I love the easy going atmosphere of Lee Harveys and is my go-to place for a drink and Saturday night live music. Outdoor and indoor... the ambiance is... well.... very Texas like and you cant go wrong if you are into casual fun. Food: some of the burgers are awesome and variety is not shabby either. Free parking too.

Wasnt a bad place just a weird night to visit this place. Didnt have any Yingling Lager which was a bummer but they did have substitutes for it.

The sweet tea wasnt the best but, the half pound burger is one of the best youll find.
