What a great time! I expected to walk in to a crowd of 21 year olds but instead found the home of DEI! I felt safe and that is the most important thing. Oh and the DJ took me back to high school with a DEEP bench of R&B! So cool thank you ! Its your fault that I am late to work today ! No more sauvignon blancs for me! Thanks guys!

Our experience here was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that is thanks to Kris! From the moment we arrived, Kris went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. everything here has been so amazing. My friend started having an allergic reaction, which he usually doesn t get. But, he had an allergic reaction response to alcohol and all of the bartenders were already SO friendly and kind and when i asked if they had a benadryl they sprung into action and tried to take care of my friend. I am so grateful. Everyone here is so amazing. And the music, the vibes, everything is so authentic. Can t recommend this place enough. First I ll start by saying Jeremy job well done!!! This place is the perfect hidden gem in Dallas. What I appreciate the most is that they are fair to EVERYONE no matter your status or who you know they treat everyone the exact same. This type of thing isn t common within Dallas clubs/bars. Once you enter it s like your are at a house party. I love that the vibe is good music, good drinks and good dancing. You will dance all night because the Dj did not miss. This is a very diverse establishment and I love that also. I ll be back and I ll recommend to everyone in the city. I m very proud of the way the owner runs his establishment.

Girls Night started great. The men at the door were super polite. When we first arrived around 8pm, our server was prompt and attentive. Drinks were delicious, however, two drinks later, we never saw him again. It had gotten a little busier, but nothing insane that someone couldnt have easily checked on us (10pm). Make sure to eat ahead of time. They do not serve food, which is fine if you are prepared for it if drinking alcohol. A nice list of flavorful non-alcoholic beverages are also offered, which was nice. Cute little hangout.

This is a cool spot in Dallas, if not one of the coolest. If you want to go out, let your hair down and let loose this is the place to be at. When I m at Double D s I m always amazed at diversity and inclusion all around, from the crowd of people, the staff, the music and even the drinks. The drinks are delicious and even include alcohol-free options, the staff is so hard working and ensuring that everyone is having a great time, the bathrooms are clean, the drinks are cold and the music is a vibe. Highly recommend!

Any day that DJ house of freqs is not at this establishment is fine. Myself and my sister have come here quite frequently but when this DJ is here It s a very segregated crowd and the owner is also a very clouded and do not care although he is a man of color. (At least the night I had a horrible encounter) I guess he is attempting to appease a certain group of people. Unless you are used to being out of of establishments for simply asking a question I would not recommend this establishment at all after the time I had here with this specific DJ Edit: of course the owner who wouldn t even listen to myself or the security guard or the multiple people who was with me explain what actually took place would deny all correct and truthful aspects of what happened. Of course we would leave out where multiple times my group was called out of our names on the mic by the DJ. As mentioned by myself and many other comments well before mine this is a very racist establishment and not a place that should be recommended to anyone with respect for all classes and people Please be careful of all of the reviews being left by friends of the owner and people who work there as they are not legitimate situations

Here we have an establishment that truly brings a NIGHTCLUB to North Texas! This Ladies and Gentlemen is a Gem in Dallas TX! A PHENOMENAL Club to say the very least. You actually feel like you are taken back to the 70s here like you are in Saturday Night Fever or Boogie Nights!The DJs fully understood that people want to rock the house like they did back in the day they know that people ages 21 to 50s and sometimes older come here, And they know they want to Boogie! The DJs play only good music from House/ Disco to hip Hop bangers and pop/ throwbacks depending on the night. The owners, bouncers and bartenders are the most professional people who respect their patrons! They offer Valet for a fee and respect your property!The mixology is Amazing here and the drinks are beyond reasonably priced in this economy if thats your concern. Had a older male harass me in line for letting my friends join me. I had let people jump me in line because I was waiting on them as they were having car trouble. I waited an hour and a half in line by myself only to get yelled at by some random older male and then security come out and take his side without even asking what happened. Since he obviously went in front to complain to him. We left. I had watched the security s friends go in and jump the line for an hour and a half, and other people do the same in front of me and nothing was done for them. If it s going to be a strict policy make it strict for everyone.

Popped in after dinner, on a Sunday night, and this is a nice spot to catch a vibe and drinks! There s valet parking available but it s best to Uber as it seems to be limited parking around the area. The decor is nostalgic as it gives a 70 s vibe! We had a decent waiter and enjoyed shots - Pineapple Tuaca and the traditional Hennessy. Always enjoy my time here, I went this past Friday. My Friend was over charged for drinks he didn t buy. I then asked the bartender if I can close out and she couldn t find my card on file. Asked her to check multiple times same answer, assuming she added my drinks to my friends card I moved on. Been here a couple of times(on weekends) and it is always jammed packed, like uncomfortably packed. Starting at the door, there bouncer is very how do I say.. racist! If you are brown or black he thinks he s better than you but when the white people come through, he s like yes masta. dude, it s 2024 why are you still being racist! Ridiculous cause the owner is black oh well. The inside is cool if you want to feel like you re in a grandma s living room. Along with 200 other people, are we sure that s not a fire code violation?! Want a drink? Forget about it unless you re prepared to fight for a spot to the bar. Oh there is only one bar.. and 1 pool table besides that, have fun watching the movies from the 80 s. We brought the New Year in here with friends! We had a great time. Atmosphere was a whole vibe! Very cute throwbock themed lounge. Its giving grandmas house 1970s. Furniture is uncomfortable, but its ok because it fits the decor. I was underwhelmed with the food service that night. Our cover was $150, which was advertised as Open bar and pizza. Well. Pizza arrived at midnight and was then rationed out by the slice. So glad we stopped by El Carlos Elegante prior. Happy New Year.

Double D s is a black-owned bar that s near downtown near Market Street. Now the parking is challenging if you don t go early, but they do have valet. Since I wanted to have several crafted cocktails I circled the block until I found a park. The space is big. There are several areas for groups to sit and bar staff will come and take your order. The bar wraps around and you have a pool table and TV monitors. The music was great because these millennials had to ask and Shazam songs. It was my era or older. Straight and complete jams! I giggled seeing Danger Mouse on a loop as I sipped my cocktail tails. After we had our group Razzle Dazzle shot, the party was underway. That first Old Fashion was cool. That 2nd one with Old Granddad. Mane, look thats what the I m talking about . We talked, had shots, made a Soul Train line, and dipped. Why?!! Cuz we re going to do that and more today. Special shout out to the new girl Cassandra and also Britney. We even had HTX in the house with us and down to put up with our shenanigans

The vibe here is a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the DJ and atmosphere super 1970s. The drinks were a bit outrageous, though. I would come back.

I arrived about 11pm. There was a line, but it went decently fast. The place was busy, but there were still pockets to move around and tables. Service at the bar was quick despite it being so busy. The vibes are top notch. I only had 1 drink - non-alcoholic boogie nights. It was decent but definitely not worth $9 for juice. I would definitely come back only before 9pm. Im just getting too old for the crowds and loudness. Also youll be able to find parking just be careful cuz you could get towed but there is plenty. Just go! Youll like it. Also, I noticed a bomb bartender doing some sick (awesome) mixing.

Asked for a double whiskey diet, well whiskey and got charged $21.65. Outrageously bad deal considering their fancy cocktails are ~$14. May have just been a rude bartender but Im gonna skip this place next time.

I had the pleasure of coming by here for a few drinks and I gotta say, I absolutely love the vibe. I had the wonderful chance to meet Jeremy who is on the ownership team. They clearly care so much about this bar and space. Visually I love the interiors of Double Ds. Everything from the wallpaper to the furniture is just incredibly cool and unique. I would highly encourage anyone in the area to stop by and try out the highball. Truly delicious and would highly recommend!

Just found out about this place last night and met Germ and the Very talented DJ. Place was poppin for a Wednesday night. Im doing dry January and found some delicious mocktail options. Loved the 1st one I tried, so I had to go back and try all 3. Cant believe the weekday crowd after only being open for 10 weeks. Impressive! Ill definitely be back.

I have to give it to June, this place has the best vibes. You may look at Rattlesnake and Lounge 31 but the bartenders from those places recommend Junes Place which is Double Ds. This place is immaculate and has the best vibes. Come check place out whenever youre free and youll find out no other bar comes close to how fun it is to drink and hang out here.

80s basement vibes. Throwback hip hop good happy hour drink specials. Nice spot to take a date or pre game. I really liked it. They don t have food but the waitress said you can order in. I d suggest having some peanuts or chips to give or sell.

Nice and chill vibe here. They have the best Frozen Ube in town. It taste like Taro but it s not actually taro. There s difference s between Ube vs Taro (google it) Ube taste like taro bubble tea but it s actually not taro y all. Vibe they have is legit if you like 1980s vibe. There s pool areas and nice little couches too. Bartenders are amazing. Elvis was the best bartender who caring so much customers. He s actually really nice guy. Every vibe was nice here. You should definitely visit this place if you re hanging out nearby.

This area has predatory towing and my car was towed as soon as I parked and went into the establishment. If not for Kris going above and beyond to help me get my car back, I would have been in a pickle. Thanks Kris.

It was a great night at Double Ds but the area they re in has predatory towing where they hide signs and tow your car minutes after parking. Khris, the security guard, helped not only calm me down, but helped me make calls to find the tow yard my car was at AND took me there
